For everyone talking about Peppers and Butt out, just to remind you (because ESPN didn't) FSU’s starters: safety Derwin James, safety Nate Andrews, starting safety Ermon Lane (playing when James went down) were all out. Starting safety Trey Marshall, was ejected in the fourth quarter for targeting. In the fourth quarter, three of FSU’s five defensive backs in the game were true freshmen.Florida State was also missing arguably its best receiver in Auden Tate. And starting guard Kareem Are could only play the 1st half before bowing out with injury. But if you just listened to the broadcasters, you’d think FSU was the picture of health, while Michigan was a crippled team fighting valiantly.

You know something else that doesn't really matter, idk why I'm bringing it up. I guess I'm just pointing it out. Trey Marshall got ejected out of the game for that targeting call. Which, I will never understand that stupid rule. These men are playing football, not tap dancing. Of course people are gonna get hit hard and inevitably hurt sometimes. I could understand if he intentionally hurt someone like putting a helmet to their knee cap or something like that, eject him. They have to do something about this rule imo it's really stupid.

Not to me, many call me paranoid, but I can see the trees through the forest, the national media HATES FSU, with a passion! Imagine if Jimbo had 36 player arrests in six years like ole Urb at go gata. We would STILL be hearing about it now as he has only been here seven years, I remember hearing ESPN talking about it once and they hardly said a damn thing. Hell, ESPN would just set up a new facility and be on the FSU campus everyday digging for dirt!

Clemson fan here... really hoping FSU can get back to form. The games between the two were must watch every single year. The recruiting classes are there for the Seminoles. Willie Taggart just wasn't the guy. In way over his head. Wasn't that great at Oregon so I dont know why he got the FSU job. This coach you have now, you all think he can bring you back up to being a top 15 team??

So exhausting hearing how poor Michigan was missing Peppers. As if FSU wasn’t missing a guy named Derwin James. You may have heard of him.
As good as derwin james was and still is now in the nfl and hes a better nfl player too Peppers was a different breed of college player and he played everywhere on the defense for michigan and was a weapon on offense and special teams. Peppers impact on mcihigan was 3x the impact of derwin james. No peppers for michigan was way worse for them than no derwin for fsu.

The 'Noles aren't my team but I've lived within an hour of Tallahassee all my life. I truly think Mike Norvell is the guy to help steer the ship in the right direction. How much he'll do is up in the air, but he believes in the team and the school.

+Harris Highlights Yeah, FSU was so "lucky" when Murray fumbled the ball away on the 1-yard-line or when Francois threw an INT-TD and was held ridiculously without it being called, and when Trey Marshall was ejected and Michigan scored 15 points because the secondary was all benchwarmers. FSU is so "lucky."
Not to mention how "lucky" FSU was when UNC got a phantom DPI call in their favor that allowed their scumbag kicker to drill a career-long for the win and Clemson also got a phantom holding call against FSU that negated a gigantic Cook run and Trey Marshall got ejected AGAIN leading to 3 Clemson scoring drives gifting Clemson the win.

I may sound biased, but this to me was the best football game of 2016. It had one of the craziest final few minutes to a football game I have ever seen.

That 5-7 record in 2021 doesn't show how much improvement they had. I seen sparks of good Nole football that year. Had a lot of close games that could have went our way and some good wins. This 2022 season is the year Norvell gets 8+ wins or he's on the hot seat. I believe Norvell has a good team this year. Watch out for that Noles defense this year. Go Noles!

This was one of the greatest games I have ever seen. It was just as good as the national championship game. With the FSU players coming back. I project them to play in the national championship game. But this game was lit. Go Blue!

What a game
When Evans scored that final TD for Michigan, I had flashbacks to the National Championship when Tre Mason scored for Auburn. In the back of my mind I thought history was gonna repeat itself and FSU would win. Then after Gavin's kick return I knew we were gonna win. The game winning TD was even a pass also.

I think he will, just give him time. He has to get your recruiting back on track and develop your O-line (not to mention replace Akers). That will definitely take a year or two. Once that happens though, you guys could REALLY take off!

FSU got up for this game because Harbaugh called Osceola "Appaloosa or something like that." But it was one hell of a ball game, one of the best bowl games in a long time.

Watching this game in my hotel room in Arizona was the highlight of my weekend since the Buckeyes were demolished in the Fiesta Bowl. The irony is Harbaugh should've beat the Buckeyes in our game a few weeks previous and they should've been the ones facing Clemson but Meyer was his daddy.

That little 10 shit doesn't fly in the ACC! Michigan was completely overmatched until the BS targeting call made our already depleted secondary play TWO freshman in pivotal roles! Half our secondary were not even a year removed from HS and still did one heck of a job!
FSU leads the B1G 67-6-1. 2-1 over Michigan and 3-0 against OSU. If FSU played in the B1G they would have been known as the 600 pound Gorilla of the mid-way. The premier team of the B1G.

I was at this game. Sitting in the new “72 Club”, VIP section they’d just put in. 9th row 50 yard line. Nice buffet and free drinks included so I was eating crab legs, sushi and drinking makers mark all night. Best part was we were given the tickets for free. I think face value was a couple grand each. But what an amazing game! I was screaming my head off for my Seminoles all night long. Awesome game. GO NOLES!

Hot rod it may have seemed like it, but stats aren't everything. Other than 2 big runs and 1 long reception, Cook was contained by that Michigan front 7. Teams that draft rbs in the first couple rounds are looking for consistent yard gainers, not frequent home run hitters

As a Michigan fan, this 2016 team was probably the most exciting team to watch every single week. Had a good chance to go 12-0 that year but you know it’s a typical Michigan blown season. Either way these guys were so fun to watch
