Bad Mechanics, Weak arm, WVUs offense made geno smith look all world and even grier didn’t have the stats the latter did . And many more reasons . It’s simple really just look at most draft evaluations of him, not good NFL prospect , great college QB

Jack M Home cooking? Texas converted a key 4th and 1 in the red zone, but the refs reviewed it and claimed that he was short because Ehlinger's helmet started to come off before he reached the ball over the line. Also, Texas had the 1st down already the play before but the refs marked him short and didn't bother to review the spot. There is no home cooking in the Big 12, just garbage ass refs that have no fucking clue what they're doing. Both teams got flagged like every drive and it was ridiculous.
Don't forget we got the final 2 point conversion 3 fucking times until it counted.

I believe the 2 point conversion should be in your Top 5 in the Top 100 in a few months. It was unexpected, it was dramatic, and it'll be something people will talk about all season long as a giant point of the College Playoff. The touchdown itself should be Top 20.

I was at the game. It was a crazy environment and it was awesome seeing all the Gold N' Blue in Austin. Very angry fans because of the Horns Down thing and an even angrier Texas head coach lol. Thanks for the video, it gave me chills and flashbacks. Go Mountaineers!

Mark Dudley About the same amount of burnt orange I saw in Morgantown when I was at school there. Both teams travel well. There were plenty of Mountaineers in Darrell K. Royal Stadium that day, which made it a good place to be. Not sure why you’re upset lol, but again, Go Mountaineers!

Field Goals in the clips, too. Most main stream networks skip them, unless they
are kicked from an extra long distance, or if it's a game winner/loser/overtime
scenario. 3 Points in the middle of a game can be just as significant.

DBeazRN 3 I live in wv so Panthers are the closest team to me. I go to their games atleast 2-3 times a year. My favorite team is the cowboys though, but I cant wait to see the Panthers develop this great QB!

I'll remember this game for the rest of my life, I was living in Austin at the time and my now late father came down to go to the game with me. He passed away shortly afterwards but to get to share this incredible game with him will always be a core memory of mine. I can still hear the stadium hush when Gary Jennings caught that pass from Grier. I love college football, this is one of the all time great games, and I will argue tooth and nail to that.
As a diehard wvu fan this might the most memorable and greatest win we ever had In the big12 i remember after this game it felt like this could be the season but obviously it wasn't

And to think the Cyclones held West Virginia offense to 7 points and 150 yards total offense 3 weeks earlier.

@@EternalStar2401 -- within their own conference, they have tilted the deck towards themselves and tried to leave other conference members out of the benefits. While TX was developing the Longhorn Network (for their own benefit only), the SEC was building the SEC network. Nebraska, CO, MO, A&M all left the BigXII, primarily because TX wanted to be the king of the conference and push everyone else around. When you drive 4 members of the conference out, that means that everyone is tired of your bullsh*t. You can bet others in the conference are none too happy that every other major conference has a conference network, but the BigXII is saddled with *only* the LHN.
UT is an entitled fanbase -- sure, they're a blueblood like OSU, AL, Notre Dame, etc. and they also have their share of annoying, entitled fans. But to listen to UT fans prattle on about how they are the "most prestigious" "most lucrative (now 2nd to A&M)" club in the US, it's pretty annoying.

Us real fans are tired of the mediocrity and just want to start winning games again. In my opinion, the Longhorn Network is a pile of shit that never even has anything to play, but you can't blame the university for jumping at the opportunity to cash in a $5 million check every year. You don't think Alabama would've said yes to a Crimson Tide Channel? When Will Grier ran in for the two-point conversion. And got the unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for the horns down symbols. Was complete asinine. And when the coach of the Texas Longhorns said after getting the unsportsmanlike conduct penalty should have had the 2 point version taken away for the unsportsmanlike conduct was an extremely low blow that was the lowest thing ever and he said that on national TV. Texas Longhorns are the biggest bunch of babies I've ever seen. And I'm going to say it in football WVU Big 12 rival is now Texas.

Something that I feel like people forget about that I find pretty cool is that, the year before, Grier broke his finger and had to step down from starting by running into the same corner of the inzone against Texas in Morgantown. So fitting he would win the game at Texas doing essentially the same thing a year later.
