I was looking forward to this film because of the actors. I watched about 20 minutes until I couldn't stand it any more! Glenn Close looks unrecognizable!
I've always thought there should be a Step Brothers 2, for all the crappy sequels we never asked for but got anyway, that's one movie that could have a great sequel. Prestige Worldwide goes bankrupt in 6 months, because they took out massive loans and they don't actually sell anything🤣 so they're back living at home, except this time instead of just being broke, they're hundreds of thousands in debt. Even bigger losers than the first movie. It would be great!
I tried to watch it last night, but it was really bad and I couldn’t finish it. I thought I might go back today and try again, but I see that the universe was trying to tell me this was a bad movie and not worth my time. Great review by the way.
Yeah, this movie was...terrible. 😬 It wasn't funny, good, and none of the characters had chemistry. And I heard Peter Dinklage fart when he was sitting on Josh's lap in the police car. 😬
I love Peter Dinklage, he's always great, even in bad movies. But he doesn't seem to have a very high standard for what movies he agrees to, he's been in some stinkers. Rememory is a nice hidden gem though, I liked it a lot.
@@jodi2847he was hilarious in Pixels, that's a prime example of a movie that wasn't that good, but he was still great. He definitely made his own insufferable douche bag lingo🤣
He's great in anything. But the elephant in the room is Hollywood has a little bit of a diversity problem with him (IMHO). Dinklage is either a fantasy character (Infinity War, Prince Caspian, GoT), the misfit (Cyrano, Pixels, Brothers), the animal voice actor (too many too name but Wicked, Ice Age, Angry Birds), or the villain (X-men: Days of Future Past, Richard III, Hunger Games). It's better than being typecast but it's not all the way there yet. Rememory was a good start 🙂 RIP Anton yelchin
Man Adam. Goodness. Although you could be jaded because all the movies you named that were funny to you were from like the 80s and early to mid 90s. They were slapstick where this movie isn't quite that. At least I don't think this movie was going for that. What's funnier is that every one one of those movies you named except for Naked Gun, I didn't think were funny at all lol. But having said this you could be exactly right. I started watching this Friday and didn't finish it. Until I saw your review today, I totally forgot I had been watching it!! So that may be the hint to me that the movie is totally forgettable 😅. I try to finish it.
I listed movies in like a 30 year span. Animal house came out in '79. Naked Gun is late 80s. Austin Powers is late 90s. There are obviously more modern comedies too that are funny but I was just randomly rattling off some. I thought No Hard Feelings from 2023 was funny and this year we had Deadpool & Wolverine which was hilarious. Brothers was just shit.
Netflix/Prime/Hulu are in the business of getting more business i.e. subscribers then making good films. Maybe years ago but now its about keeping your mind tricked into thinking there is something to watch on their service. I will say there are some gems but its few and far between. One of my favorite rolls of Peter Dinklage, is when he played the lover of the father that died in Death At A Funeral, but that is one of my favorite movies. Dinklage was funny in that movie but I think it was because the people around him were funny and it was story-line. Both versions. LOL He
It's really sad when they don't overrule casting when it comes to bad chemistry. When you see a movie with characters with good chemistry it can just be electric. They're interactions seem more natural. But when characters don't have chemistry it seems like you can see it a mile away and I understand they can't fire a Josh brolin or a Peter dinklage Willie nilly but there should be some kind of claws in contracts where if the characters can't interact in a natural smooth fashion then there's no sense in any of it. Think of a movie like in glorious bastards. Incredibly large cast where most of the characters are important in some fashion. Not one moment in the movie do you not feel like the characters are naturally interacting whether they love each other hate each other or are scared of each other. But then you get something like the new crow where it's supposed to be banked on their love of each other and the characters don't look like they like each other in real life😅
Of course it's bad it's a straight to video movie.. just almost new movie is or will be... maybe that's the problem It's easy to come out with a bad movie that isn't in theaters. Makes it less shameful .
Relax, ppl, he's clearly jst trolling. He obv know this movie slaps. I mean, "Blazing Saddles"? The most offensive pieces of anti-White propaganda ever filmed is "funny"? This was clearly meant to parody secretly woke movie reviewers like Critical Drinker who've praised such filth as being too "edgy" & "based" to be made today. Too bad none of you possess the intellect to appreciate the brilliance of what Adam has done here smh.
Dinklage has been utterly shit in terms of entertainment output and as a person for some time now.
Fame 100% went to his head. Can't stand him now, used to be a fan
Brolin looks like an old John Cena in this.
😢I actually thought it WAS Cena at first 😂
It's a bad remake of DeVito and Schwarzenegger's Twins
That was my first thought too. Glad I checked the comments before adding another duplicate post, haha!
@@rmarkley79 same
One of the best movies ever made. Just perfect
No one else saw Tip Toes? 🎬
You have never seen twins
So it's the Temu version of Twins, got it, so skip
Peter i cannot watch anymore since his putting other little people out of jobs.

Give me Stepbrothers and Waterboy any day of the week

@@theywouldnthavetocensormei9231 it could be, but on current Hollywood form it would probably turn out more like anchorman 2 tbh

Trash is all that Hollywood makes anymore. Unfunny trash, woke trash, poorly written trash, remake trash, low-quality trash, boring trash.
Call me elf, one more time....
Are you kidding me Adam.. this film was hilarious
These made-for-streaming movies are awful
Peter Dinklage comedies - Tiptoes, Pixels.....
I'll pass.
Watch Airplane and I hate Airplane.
You are getting close to 100K. Way to go.

His standard is no fantasy dwarf characters, that's it. He'll do Pixels 2 before playing the top elf in Santa's workshop.

Adam you are coming for everyone's wigs this year! 😭 No film is safe!
I think I laughed once when Brenden threw Dinklage in the shower. It looked like it hurt
Dinklage definitely hit his peak with GoT. I’ve seen two movies with him recently (this being one) and they were both terrible.
I bet they thought they were making a kind of, Farley brothers movie. Not.
Love the Chris Stuckman thumbnails 😅
The Pale Blue Eye. Netflix.
Man I wish they’d make another Austin Powers movie! They could even cast Taylor Swift too!!!🙏🙏🙏
Watched it last night... Right you are. The Uncle f**k comment got me laughing more.
Honesty 😅😂❤

I thought it was so cute and funny. I’m so serious. The scene where the paramedics called moke fat had me on the floor 🤣
So it's Twins (1988) but not funny and without the comedic chops of Arnold Schwarzenegger
Of course it's bad it's a straight to video movie.. just almost new movie is or will be... maybe that's the problem

I still think is a good movie. Not great, but a good watch. I didn't know what it was, until my cousin started to watch it. I liked it.
It gives twins vibes with Arnold Schwarzenegger & danny davito, twins was much better.
Are you kidding me Adam. This movie was hilarious. If you're gonna put that, how dare you first of all.
You're right.
Amazon Prime Original Comedy Ranking of Ricky Stanicky Jackpot and Brothers. I have no idea how I would rank them. My oh my.
A real Sophie's Choice
Man Ricky Stanicky really had potential too, it was kind of impressive how they managed to make it so boring and forgettable.
Comedy died in the early 2010s.
I can’t believe they remade Brothers (2009)
I literally saw something about this on Twitter two or three weeks ago.
An orangutan could kill you in no time flat. No one has one in a pet for real do they?
Want to see a fun movie?? THE CORNDOG MAN is fantastic
or THE LAST BIG THING
BOTH FROM 1996. FANTASTIC CULT CLASSICS. SEE THE REVIEWS.
That sucks. I wanted this to be good.
And who ever runs Roger Ebert's website gave this movie a positive review
But you gotta admit that scene on the golf carts was pretty damn funny
It was truly awful.
Are you kidding me Adam...I've not watched this, but perversely, I might see how bad it is.
Not only the comedy of the year, but the film of the year. Roll over Cohan Brothers, there is a new king director in town.
Riiiiiiiiiiiiight
Both were Infinitely War
Huh
Oh damn, you are right!
they dont even do raunchy stoner comedies anymore
Josh Brolin and comedy? Nope.
Laid off the trt. Hollywood u gotta stay lookin 20-35 until ur ready to look 75 for those rolls im pretty sure.
Almost unwatchable.

Good recommendations
It's a total crap
It helps if you have funny people in your comedy. Please stop.
Your audio is tinny......
I don't remember Happy Gilmore being that funny.
By the way, that's not Glen Close. That's Catherine O Hara. She was in the original Bettlejuice (and the recent sequal), and the Home Alone movies.
Incorrect. But love them both.
I definitely make mistakes on this channel but that is absolutely Glenn close.
🤦♂
No, Glenn Close plays Cath Munger in Brothers.
She just has a red wig. Catherine O'hara is a redhead as well.
I looked it up and it says Glenn close.
Nope. Not even Close.
Only "mentally questionables" can think Happy Gilmore is funny.
You seem to have something against dwarfs sir. I know this isn't the first time you've hated on a movie with a dwarf in a leading role.
It's just a little bit of prejudice, it's no big deal🤣
Usually I don't bother with trolls, but sure, I'll bite. What movies have I unfairly reviewed because of my supposed prejudice?
@@AdamDoesMoviesno need to get short with him🤣
This is a bad look for Brendan. He is reverting back to that dumb animal. Movie and ruining all his Oscar cred. Bad look for everyone !!
