@@biplabkumar7386 honestly if you truly loved someone I don't think you'll ever fully fall back out your first true love will always hold a place in your heart even if you move on. You loved this person with everything you had a one point. Just like family you love family with everything you have or atleast some family. I know it's different but it's similar like when you then have your own children you'll still love your parents or whatever but you'll love your children more. You wholeheartedly loved someone so they'll always have a peace of your heart in some way or another even when you move on to find someone else to love. Even if you end up loving this person more the other person that was first will always have a place in your heart because they opened your heart to a whole new level of loving they where the one that made you experience it. So I personally don't think you'll ever have them lose a hold of some place of your heart I just think it gets less apparent when you find someone else that you fall in love with.

And that's why healing is important. You need time alone to be able to let go and completely detach from your past. It's lonely, not going to lie. Sometimes I miss being in a relationship, almost go running back to my ex but I know I can't. So, I cry and ask the universe to release the pain. It gets easier as you get stronger the more you sit, feel and let go of that darkness. Don't drag someone else into your mess just to make you feel good. You never will unless you heal. Love the song though😊

Sadly i could never recover from one of my ex's, only one who made me feel something special, and since i never dated again and it's been a year, i won't be able to ever forget her or forget how much I love her, i tried to get back with her but she definitely moved one, and pretty easily... , I tried to date new girls a few months ago but all i was doing was thinking and comparing her to my one ex that i loved, i don't think there will be enough time in the world for me to forget her completely, i live in constant pain since but i bear it and do what i have to do to go forward, and i have some crushes too, but i don't chase anymore, I've retired from this game ... I'm too fucked up from the previous relationship and that is reality, healing doesn't work the same or doesn't work for some

This song is a prime example of trying to move on before you’ve healed. There are too many relationships built on toxicity and trauma bonds. If you’re in a situation with someone new who is everything you’ve ever wanted, it’s picture perfect, and you don’t want to lose it…well…then hold onto it and don’t let go.
If you’re unhealed, and you’re still pining for someone else, that new person will eventually leave bc they know their worth and they are not going to be an option. They know the kind of mutual, reciprocal love they want and deserve. They know they deserve to be a priority and treated right.
When the new “perfect” person eventually leaves and you go back to live in your toxic past, guess what? You are going to realize what you had and what you let go of. Most people don’t realize what they have until it’s gone. You will realize you made a HUGE mistake and the regret is gonna hit you so hard knowing you had the most amazing person in your life who was everything you’ve always wanted, but you let it go because of your unhealed traumas and toxic behaviors.
When that happens you will realize what a fool you were to hold onto your toxic past, and you will be heartbroken that you lost that new person.
If that’s you, then do the work in yourself to heal; and then run back so fast towards that “perfect” person. Fight for that person you had in your life who was perfect for you in every way, but who you lost due to poor choices, unhealed traumas, toxic behaviors, and toxic masculinity/toxic femininity.
It may be too late to get them back, it may not be, but if you don’t try you will never know. The right person is worth fighting for so if you have messed up…then apologize, make it up to them, fix it, prove to them you’ve changed, rebuild trust, and show them you truly love them every day.
Don’t be the guy in this song. Heal from your past and appreciate the love that comes your way that treats you right, loves you right, and is so good to you. It’s rare, and if you are lucky enough to find it, hold onto it, because it doesn’t come along twice.

In the meantime you heal yourself, work on yourself, take care of your kids, and focus on your life. If you are truly meant to be with them, they will come back when they are healed and ready. Staying together with a toxic unhealed person is not healthy for the relationship.
Relationships work best when both people are ready and healed. It’s painful to separate but it’s often necessary for both people to work on themselves and heal. The relationship will be much better when they come back together with the right mindset, healed hearts, and the right heart posture.

Wow that was perfectly said! I am so happy that I have a good friend that I love and care so deeply for and I’m so happy for him to come back to my home to help me out so that we could be able to be closer to each other again and that he can have peace in his heart that I am happy for him because of all of the work he has put in his life to make him better than what he was before he left me and I am very proud of him and all of his efforts to make him the most beautiful person that I have been able to have in my life to have with my heart and I will always love him forever and always. He has a very special bond with me and he has always been my heart and soul but I don’t think that he is going to ever be able to be with me again because of this situation he is going through and I am going to have to leave the house for a while to go to work but I will definitely keep him in my life and I hope he can find a way to stay in my house for the long term so that we can live together and have peace in our lives and be happy for each other again and love each other in the same time we are in the same place that we love each other as we have in the same way that he will be there for the same things that I will always be there for him. I've been in the girls' place and trust me the hurt's still there and it's been almost a year since we last talk. So please, before jumping to a new relationship heal first, or you'll never end the cycle. Be considerate to your new lover as well, think of how it will hurt or even possibly traumatized them. Been there and until now I'm still trying to heal. Feeling positive for the future tho, and I'll be okay. 💗

I recently got out of a 3.5-year relationship and it was my fault. I like my friend and he likes me back, but I know that I'm not ready and he understands that. We agreed that if we still like each other after I've recovered, we can be together. It's hard and I haven't moved on yet, but my ex has already gotten into another relationship. I want to take the time to become a better person, love myself again, and have moved on from my ex. The person I like now is absolutely amazing and incredible, and he deserves someone that loves him with all their heart.
Lesson: Make sure you have healed and moved on from your ex before falling for someone else. It's wouldn't be fair to them.

You know, I completely healed from the traumas caused by my first ex thinking that my 2nd should deserve my best, after giving my best, being in an yr of relationship with me he told me that he wanted to part our ways and broke up with me saying that he cannot continue our long distance. In my opinion, you should do your best to surround yourself with your loved ones, whether it's your family, friends, or even your pet, and try not to dwell too much on everything that happened. I'm so sorry that happened to you, I hope your depression hasn't gotten worse since you left your comment. Just reminisce about good memories and slowly put them away as just memories, and distract yourself with hobbies you love and enjoy! If it gets worse, don't be afraid to reach out for help from a friend or a professional. I know we don't know each other but you don't deserve to feel pain from this. I hope this helped, I just gave you what's working for me currently but it may differ idk. Again, I'm so sorry about everything you had to go through..

It's been well over a year for me with my ex. While I feel I have moved on for the most part, I still have thoughts of the good times we had and miss them a lot or even thinking about the bad times and regrets This makes it especially hard with the fact she was my first. A lot of experiences we had together are very intertwined with a lot of things so it's like how can you not think about them? When I first broke up with her, I couldn't watch any tv shows or movies that had couples in them, going to the convenience store for snacks and just stuff like that. It would break me down uncontrollably because we did a lot of everything together so It felt new to me but in a sad way when doing things alone. I've definitely healed in this aspect without thinking of her and getting sad. But what gets me is at random times, I miss having that companionship. I want someone to hug, someone to go home to talk about my day, celebrate accomplishments or just the little things with, and watch movies together. I have someone I am Interested in but I'm scared to initiate because I don't want to hurt her because of me thinking of my ex. For example, what if we kissed and I think of my ex and just start crying? That's the fear I have. I'm just so scared of doing intimate things with someone else when all my intimate experiences have only been with one person. Idk if it's rational to be having that thought but I feel I have moved on but because of my intimate experiences with only being with one person, I fear doing it with someone else because I don't know what will go through my mind if it happens and I definitely don't want to have my ex rushing through my mind in those times which is why I'm holding off from trying to get close with someone. Ahhh I'm rambling and repeating what I'm saying. If you read this, have you got any tips, random stranger?

The person i planned to spend my life with passed away and the person im with now is amazing, i love him a lot, he was also best friends with the person i lost. So we share that pain and he understands in such an amazing way that its ok for me to feel like this sometimes and miss my first love. ❤️💔 but, i did make sure before i jumped in that i wasnt doing it just to feel closer to the one i lost but also becuz i just love him for who he is, so the aspect of only thinking of the other person isnt tru in my case.

In 2 months, it'll be 20 years since he left but I'm still as in love with him as I ever was. We've kept in touch all these years, I married, had kids and ultimately divorced. My ex-husband said once that he could never have all of me because I'd given too much of my heart away with no way of getting it back. When TRUE love happens and is lost, there is no recovering from it...just like there is no recovering from the death of a parent, child or spouse. Sure, you can try to move on but you can't ever have that back and trying to reach for it or wait for can be destroying.
