    Blown away by this at the cinema. Wasn’t expecting it; was just tagging along to the usual trip to the cinema.
    I don’t understand the criticism it gets. It grabs that uneasy feeling with the music score; and the winter setting , dimly lit (like many great films such as Silence of the lambs) help the dreary, gritty undertone that ages so well.

    I bought the Shout Factory Blu Ray last year just to see this interview. Joel was a genius and listening to him speak is always so interesting and enlightening. I wish he were still with us every time I see a Lost Boys reunion, or I hear actors from A Time to Kill or The Client discuss it. Michael Douglas was fantastic in Falling Down with Joel’s direction, Demi Moore in St. Elmo’s Fire and on and on. Tremendous depth in his directing style

    I really enjoyed 8mm and Joel made alot of great movies in his career and he had great vision was well and what Makes his work so special is they have aged well and are very relevant today.

    I find myself looking up Jenny Powell on google.......making sure she's ok lol apparently she was in a Marilyn Manson video
