Just received today the goatskin ancient faith study bible and it’s lovely glad the CSB is getting some premium offerings. I was especially pleased as I got it brand and new for £48. Can’t wait to see the interior fully on your new CSB bible

Yes absolutely, I think I’m going to enjoy this one over the verse by verse for sure. The VBV is nice too, but I’m a big fan of single column Bibles. And I don’t mind the size I’m used to carrying around study bibles 😂

Wow this is beautiful. I have the note taking bible, but this is amazing! I have mentioned before that the CSB is my preferred version. The only thing I would change is make this verse by verse single column.
Oh man... verse-by-verse would make it even BIGGER. I'd like to see that!
Would love this in a verse-by-verse. There is one in a black genuine leather that’s supposed to be goat skin (ISBN-13: 978-1535990615), but it’s not single-column, nor wide margin. There’s also another verse-by-verse that’s coming out in October sometime, in a brown goatskin, in this “Handcrafted” line. But it will likely not be wide margin, nor single column either. Anyway, even though the CSB is not this reformed Presbyterian’s favorite translation, I ordered one for myself. FWIW, Christian Bookstore has a great deal on it at the moment. Great review, as always.
That is a hefty bible! I have the VbV but the margins really aren't that wide. I'm so tempted to get the Schuyler wide margin.
Those Schuyler WMs are quite impressive.

Hey Tim. Great unboxing video! I'm really close to buying this Bible but I have to know - 6 months on, how is the cover? Is it any softer? That's the only thing holding me back at the moment is, seeing how stiff the leather looks compared to the other CSB Handcrafted Bibles!
I haven’t used this one too much, but I know some other folks who got this same Bible and the leather was much softer.

I love the layout.
I don’t know if I’m the only one who struggles with this, but I can not settle On a translation. Honestly i bounce constantly from one to another. Currently I’m reading the CSB study bible. But I’ll constantly switch off to the ESV study bible then over to the NIV study bible the updated one then the lift application study bible. I’ve used the nkjv and nlt. Even the Net bible. I don’t know why I can’t settle on one. I wish I could because when I read I usually have 4-5 other bibles sitting next to me. I honestly feel like I’m missing out on the other translations. I feel like it’s hurting my growth in Christ as well just because I switch around. I watch all these videos of certain translations being trashed. I really like the way the CSB and NIV read. Plus those bibles tend to have more colors and things. I’m a visual learner so that really helps me. The Esv study bible is pretty plain with some colors scattered here and there. I just want to know, is the CSB or NIV really as bad as some reviewers say? I compare and to be honest. The meanings are the same just worded differently with the other translations they say are superior. If anyone can help me or point me in a good direction that would help me so much
Thanks for sharing, Jason. I bounce around a bit as well. Perhaps you should try choosing one translation to be your main one for the rest of the year. Start with it, and only read another translation after you’ve read in your main one. Maybe that will help you feel more consistent and able to find a good rhythm.

Honestly don't see the point of this Bible. It will rarely get use due to the size and heft of it. In this size, thinline is the only way to go. It makes a large Bible portable. Single Column for me personally is best suited to the Cambridge Clarion size, chunky but very portable. If they released a Thinline premium I would buy instantly
Hmmm... I can think of several ways that I can use this Bible... but I agree with you that a premium CSB thinline would be awesome!
It is the CSB ripoff of the ESV Preaching Bible.
That thought never crossed my mind.
