Not really, Azerbaijan and Greece are chill with each other for the most part. In fact Greece was the pioneer in buying gas from Azerbaijan into the EU, and even gas aside Greece is one of Azerbaijan's key markets in the EU. Just because they're closely related to Turkey, doesn't mean they follow the same politics as Turkey does in every single issue. For example, the Grey Wolves are considered as a terrorist organization by Azerbaijan (not by Turkey however), and Azerbaijan doesn't recognize Kosovo or even Northern Cyprus, which Turkey does. Likewise their dictator Aliyev, while he's more ruthless, corrupt and authoritarian than Erdogan, he's strangely less big on religious rhetoric than Erdogan is and apart from Armenians, Azerbaijan is relatively chill towards minorities there, which includes Russians, Ukrainians, Kazakhs, Georgians and Jews as well as some regional minorities like Tats and Talysh.

On the one hand, I can understand Sabina Babayeva, because when Azerbaijan hosted Eurovision in 2012, Armenia refused to participate, but the country refused too late (in March 2012) because the competition was held in Azerbaijan, and because of this, the EBU obliged Armenia to broadcast Eurovision 2012, otherwise Armenia will not be able to return in 2013 (if it wants). And in the same year, Sabina Babayeva represents Azerbaijan, and when Sabina began performing in the Grand Final, Armenian commentators specifically said something at the beginning of her performance, thereby showing their disrespect for this participant. But when the Finnish jury refuses to announce their scores to Israel, no one talks about it, and if they do, they support it. Doesn't this smack of double standards?
@general_maonais well it is, Finland should take responsibility of their broadcasting company for sure. Eurovision should be free of politics event. Unfortunately it is ATM. And just FYI Armenia refused to participate in Eurovision 2012 in March since Azerbaijan refused to provide security for Armenian participant knowing the whole situation, that’s why Armenia decided to drop the year because the participants’ lives are much more important, especially when Azerbaijan is an super Armenophobic state, and Sabina proves that on this video

Yeah it's not North Korea, but it seems to be the mini-version of it, besides Korea not destroying thousands of years of history and culture. Hope God will return everything to it's place when He returns ☦️🙏
@driteanimations6330 hey but do you know what they did against Azerbaijan? They illegally invaded a lnad which didn't belong to them, they committed Khojaly genocide, they displaced more than 1million Azerbaijanis from their ancestral homes. They ruined, destroyed and plundered 20km² area. You talk about some destroyed churches? But what about all destroyed 20 km² area full of Azerbaijanis historical sides, hundred of villages, city centers. She has right not to mention the name if Armenia? For what she would mention Armenia? Armenians spread hate and propaganda against turks and Azerbaijanis, bit also cover what they did against turks and Azerbaijanis
@@hollymolly394No one kill women and children in your fake arskah, don't write misinformation here. Yes, you cannot vote for yourself
Stay mad. Armenia and Armenian culture is great than your whole country
As an Azerbaijani it is ridiculous you type something like this
All this racists plot aside, wasnt easier for Azerbaijan not to vote for armenia? That would have made more sense than this drama act.
This was just a rehersal, not the actual show itself. Im 99% sure these arent the actual votes counted, and instead were randomly given countries. Azerbaijan just so happened to get armenia randomly selected as the 8 points for the rehersal. Im not sure what happened with the final votes in the actual finale. Hope this clears up the confusion! Stay safe ^_^
Was this in a rehearsal?
Doesn’t this just make the contest fixed? I mean I don’t see how Azerbaijan at the time would even vote for Armenia but apparently they did? That’s some bull. This show is just exposed as being fixed? Unless this is just rehearsals
Well even if it was a rehearsal, does it change the fact that Azerbaijani broadcaster doesn’t want even give FAKE points to Armenia because it is Armenia and not another country? I mean fascism is fascism, don’t you think so? 🤷🏻♂️

Weird,Azerbaijan hate Greece too aren't they?

So?
Do you have an evidence that Sabina rejected to announce 8 points to armenia on purpose? This videoclip is from rehearsals and EBU sometimes manipulates the results on purpose, just to test how the presenters will handle this situation in case they have a similar technical issue during the actual show. I can show you some examples I’ve seen from past years. (Where spokesperson’s announcement and computer result do not match with each other)
Nice try of another dirty propaganda, slandering and spreading misinformation you’ve been doing for decades 😒😒
@@Emre-b9t1l nice try to whitewash fascism of Azerbaijan. I guess you one of the adepts of a war criminal Ilham Aliyev. You can reply with whatever bulls'ht you want but it will not change the reality. The `technical issue` was made on purpose by EBU to test the presenters. No one is displaying racial discrimination against your stupid poor country. We know you are extreme haters of us and trying so hard to spread propaganda and hate speech accross the world and begging mercy from western countries but believe me we do not care about you. We do not even see you as enemy. You are a weak corrupted nation, with no major success, no powerful history and have no intent in this world other than crying about genocide and karabakh. Understand me, I am not justifying Sabina, her actions were Armenophobic, and it was wrong on her part.

You can have whatever prejudice or opinion you want, but you should never spread misinformation. This is a clip from a rehearsal, they usually practice a situation when the announcer doesn’t give out the points correctly at least once, same happened in 2024. Do your research before accusing someone of anything and if you made a statement and someone pointed out you’re wrong, stand corrected.
