    I can't push the Transfer Skin Weights button. how can i push it?

      So what item do you have selected? How is the item identified? (You can look in the scene list and there will be an icon telling you what type it is). While there are a FEW things you can't use Transfer Skin Weights on it's VERY difficult to find one. If this is something from Daz you can let me know the exact item - otherwise if it's something else you can always send it to me at mike at kelleytown dot com.

    Hey how would you do this with heels ?

    • @MikeDKelley
      @MikeDKelley  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Same way. Inside of CC you can select the shoes, choose the "Heels" option and adjust accordingly.

    A great tutorial. I have a question: how to wear high-heeled shoes? Do you have to set your foot yourself? Is there any automation in CC3?

    • @MikeDKelley
      @MikeDKelley  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Put the shoes on the character as normal in Daz, and export. In CC3 with the shoes selected go to the "High Heels" tab and adjust the foot to your liking.

    Thank you very much for your tutorial,After binding the shoes in Iclone,how can you guide the mold and the bound shoes back to Daz3D together?

    • @MikeDKelley
      @MikeDKelley  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry, but I really don't know much about Daz or about exporting things outside of the RL universe (my expertise is getting them IN to the RL universe). You might want to ask someone on the Daz forums.

      Okay, thank you for your answer. I will look for the tutorial again. I hope you can try it and import it back to daz. Thank you very much.

    How did you get all of the textures for the shoes? I did the same thing as you but i imported the shoes, and they're all white when i brought them into CC3

    • @MikeDKelley
      @MikeDKelley  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends on how you exported them -- you can export them without the diffuse textures or can export with. In any case, though, you will ONLY get the diffuse. All other textures have to be reapplied in CC3.

    • @HeLIEl
      @HeLIEl 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MikeDKelley Oh ok how do i export them with diffuse texture? Thank you for responding

    • @MikeDKelley
      @MikeDKelley  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@HeLIEl Depends on what you are using for exporting. I can show you the settings for Daz (they are in many of my videos) but I know nothing about anything else.

      @MikeDKelley  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@XteveStrange Try this -- once you bring the shoes into CC3, select them (making sure they are indeed weighted as shoes) and then you'll see a tab in the Modify area that says "High Heels". Select that and then just use the slider to adjust them. Presto!

  • @knwnshooter
    @knwnshooter 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hey love the tutorials. Why does character creator bring my shoes in as one single unit? I’m unable to adjust one at a time. Also is there anyway to duplicate a single shoe?

    • @MikeDKelley
      @MikeDKelley  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Shoes are a clothing "item" so they always come in together. You can adjust them separately by doing modify/edit mesh in CC3 (sorry, don't know exactly the terms as I don't have CC up and running but if you can't find it let me know. I *might* even have a tutorial on doing it, now that I think of it, but it's pretty easy.

    • @knwnshooter
      @knwnshooter 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mike Kelley hey thank you so much for the quick response. Is the tutorial on you tube? When I select edit mesh they remain as one object.

    • @MikeDKelley
      @MikeDKelley  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@knwnshooter You have to select element, and then select which shoe. If I don't have a tutorial I'll be happy to make one in a bit (off on another project right now -- see if you can figure it out and then let me know).

    • @knwnshooter
      @knwnshooter 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mike Kelley it would be very much appreciated. Also if there is a way to take a single shoe and duplicate within cc. I’m feverishly watching your tutorials trying to find a solution lol but every time I import shoes they come in as one item and every time you import items they come in individually with individual parameters. Ideally if there was a way to mirror a single shoe that would save my life. Most great OBJs seem to be single shoes.They are files from 3rd party sites and they never seem to work well. Apologize very new to this

    • @knwnshooter
      @knwnshooter 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I should mention my process is either “Transform Fbx” or “create accessory OBJ” from DAZ items often from renderosity. Either one is a headache when talking about shoes or gloves
