      @Jdlion04 The RAM is pre-installed and soldered on the motherboard so you might need to send it back or go to their service center.

    I did this on my m17 r2 with thermal grizzly. Only took about half an hour and between this and undervolting it knocked a lot off the Temps and it no longer thermal throttles.

    Ill never buy a laptop that has such awful configuration. Like cmon, they know that repasting and stuff like that is necessary on a gaming laptop and make it as hard as possible to achieve it at the same time. Mf lets make users remove all screws and components before they can fucking change thermal paste.

    • @juststeve6296
      @juststeve6296  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That depends on whether or not yours comes with RAID 0. If you get one SSD with purchase you'll have one 2280 slot and one 2230 slot open (then yes you can install the 970). RAID 0 will leave you with only a 2230 slot open (then no it won't fit unless you do the following) in which case you should get rid of RAID 0 and upgrade the storage in the two 2280 slots as the 2230 slot is hard to find a good SSD..
