I disagree. I think Guts and the Demon voice was spot on but normal Fulgrim i think Thranduil from the Hobbit is perfect. A beautiful voice and elegant like a elf or higher being but also just has this full of himself undertone that is perfect for Fulgrim. I honestly think Griffiths voice better fits Corax. Its like whispery but tough and badass which is how i think the sneaky yet badass Corax would sound

The only thing Guts and Fulgrim have in common is corruption through a cursed weapon. Griffith and Fulgrim, however: Grew up poor Have an aura that projects a nobility that grabs people's trust. Fell to evil's grasps to feed their desires (Fulgrim being his hedonistic fall, Griffith his ambition) Maintained a sense of sophistication when in court Two-faced as fuck Extremely beautiful Granted, Griffith is far more self-controlled and cooler-headed with better ways to enact his vengeance in the long-term, as well as actually caring for his men to some extent (I mean, The Eclipse wouldn't have happened if he valued them more than his dream, but still) at least enough to not belittle them for percievably being "below him"; many differences between the two. But there is enough surface and writing wise that Kevin T Collins fits the bill better. And Marc has shown how downright evil he can sound when voicing Guts, sometimes downright Demonic, so yeah.
I also imagine The Lion’s dueling style to be like Geralt’s during the Blaviken fight. Each move made deliberately and with deadly purpose, constantly advancing like an inevitability.

The comment I made on earlier version of this video (Glad it's still around): 8:07 Vulkan during Great Crusade comforting a child he saved from Orks. The childs parents were brutally slaughtered in attack of Orcs, the city was completely destroyed, but this kid managed to survive thanks to arrival of Salamanders and their Primarch. Vulkan stood taller than any orc or man the child has ever seen and yet his presence did not terrify him in the slightest. In fact, it almost felt comforting to be in his presence. The kid had no one now in the world, he was filled with grief. Vulkan seeing the horrible state of this kid and the horrible fate that fell upon the world took the child on his shoulder and took him out of the burning city upon one of their Imperial Ships, on the ship he was hailed by humans there and Salamanders as the symbol of humanity's perseverance, a great example of humanity's potential and strength as the only person that managed to survive in the attack. The kid spend there a few days to recover, under careful care from Vulkan himself who helped him deal with his new situation.
After few days he was told that he would be dropped on one of the nearby worlds under control of the Imperium to have a new family that could take care of him. The day before that though he visited Vulkan again. He expressed how much he didn't want to leave, he wanted to be with them, help the Imperium and children like him. Vulkan seeing this decided to give him a choice, he can become one of them, a Space Marine. But he also warned him that this would be a terribly painful process and he did not wish for this child to die because of it. He told him how many things he can do. He can become a doctor who helps others with medicine, one of Imperial Guard soldiers on the planet he will be on or a Governor. But the child persisted, he wanted to help so much alongside them. But he had to admit that he had another motive, without his family now, he wanted a new family, somewhere to belong and he expressed that there would be no greater honor than to become Vulkan's son. Vulkan hearing that was very moved, but still asked if this is what he really wanted. The child didn't back down. Vulkan could see then how this child managed to survive for so long, his stubbornness reminded him of Rogal. And so the course was changed to Nocturne where the child was about to be dropped off for his training to become a Space Marine. Vulkan though had to leave again, but before he did, he took the child on a great mountain where they spoke one last time before Vulkan departed. "Let me tell you something that my father told me. Look at the stars, the great kings of the past look down on us from those stars. So whenever you feel alone just remember that those kings will always be there to guide you and so will I" And so Vulkan had to leave and the child begun his training. Years passed and he managed to preserve, the geneseed was very compatible with the child to everyone's surprise. The kid grew healthy and strong and in time became a true son of Vulkan and always when he was in doubt or felt weak or alone he looked at the stars knowing that his Primarch, new father Vulkan was out there, believing he can become a Salamander and so were all the other Priamrchs and the Emperor of Mankind himself. The new Salamander faced many battles since then, sometimes being able to fight alongside Vulkan as well. But then, the disaster happened. Horus Heresy broke out and Salamander were ambushed at Istvaan V, he was one of the lucky ones that managed to survive although with bad injuries, but Primarch Vulkan was said to be killed. He was devastated, once again he lived when his own family was slaughtered. His faith wavered like never before. Sometimes he even considered ending it all, but even with that he still pushed through, but he was slowly losing himself. Until Vulkan reemerged. The Salamander couldn't believe it. His father was alive... And once he woke up from his stasis he was put into due to certain events on Macragge he was able to talk to him. He told him of all the troubles, all the faith he lost over the course of the heresy. He lost so many of his new family, he was alone for so long without him, he didn't know what to do. He wanted Vulkan to help him. Then Vulkan put a hand on his shoulder. "I never left you and never will." Then he remembered his words about the kings in the stars, about how many things he survived and how much he pushed through. It was like Vulkan was always there with him. Guiding him. With all other Salamanders that lost their lives at Istvaan. Then Vulkan said one more thing "Remember who you are." At first it sounded strange to him. He knew who he was. He was a Space Marine, meant to protect the Imperium, a proud son of Vulkan. But then his thoughts went back to the planet he was born on. The time when his family was killed and his city destroyed. He had to remember who he was. He was a child that preserved against all odds and became a Space Marine to protect others from the fate he suffered back then. With this new realization, this new clarity his faith was restored. His mission was now clear. He couldn't let himself be brought down by all of this because there are people out there that he swore to protect. People who right now may suffer horribly at the hands of Xenos and traitors. He couldn't let himself be brought down. Not now. Not ever.
At this point I can't imagine other voices than TTS version for the primarchs that are already featured there. Zoran is AWESOME as Leman Russ, as is Zegram as Magnus. The latter may be not a "perfect" fit, but it makes him even more believable IMO.
Magnus was great in TTS Magnus- “Vulkan almost broke my spine!” Kitten- “you don’t have a bloody spine you gormless tosser!” Magnus- “FUUUUCK YOU LEMAN!!”
I would say Sam Witwer would make the perfect Angron! His work as Darth Maul in the Clone Wars animated series is a masterclass in portraying possessed/obssessed anti-heroes/villains.,
Okay wow, that quote from Mufasa, with a tiny bit of recontextualization and paraphrasing, would fit Vulkan so incredibly well. Instead of the "great kings of the past" change it to "the Emperor, and all those who have fallen fighting in his name." or something like that, and I can just imagine him telling it to a recent Astartes conscript who might be struggling in training.
Better yet, make the first quote him talking to a child from his homeworld. Said child later becomes a Salamander And then, the second quote is a vision that said Salamander has after Vulkan's most recent death (the Salamanders are kind of desperate for him to "Respawn")
To be honest if they rewrote some of angrons lore I would say him being very sympathetic could justify most of the things he’s been through and probably maybe his rage and lust for battle I would say but correct me if I’m wrong

But that wouldn't match with the butcher's nails lore, because it said to kill emotions except for rage.
@@Nobody11944 Angron isnt a sympathetic character but he is a very tragic one. It's implied that before the nails he was designed to be one of the most empathetic primarchs with an ability to heal. All of that was taken away from him by his upbringing.
I’ve always imagined Liam O’Brien voicing Corvus Korax knowing he has also voiced Illidan Stormrage in Warcraft. The tragedy of their characters wanting to do what’s right even if it means doing things that seem wrong. They also have cool demon transformations 👌🏼
I personally would have had Rogal Dorn voiced by Keith David, and used some of Daniel Flynn's voice lines from Bloodborne for Sanguinius. Still, a good selection of voices all around, especially Roboute's.
O'Brien as Corax, Stewart as Guilliman, and Jones as Vulkan are all spot on as are most of the rest but holy shit Khary Payton as the Khan gave me chills. He's got such an amazing voice.
Sir Patrick Stewart as Gulliman, and James Earl Jones as Vulkan are too perfect! Also Hugh Laurie as Dorn is "A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one."

Considering how every one of them is like 3 meters tall and taller, I think all of them should have a deep deep voice, especially chaos primarch. Perturabo, Horus, Angron, Ferrus, all look like, meatheads to me, but in a cool way ( like they should sound like hulk hogan or something)
I especially like the contrast between the choice of Ferrus and Fulgrim’s voice actors having the bond despite the surface level difference. I think that is something to really see develop from their bond despite the superficial

To me the only canon voices for all primarchs are the ones from TTS. Cannot see Magnus the same anymore without his Australian accent, Rogal Dorn with his deadpan voice, and Leman Russ with his Scottish accent. Oh and there's Vulkan with his incredibly optimistic voice.

But he had to admit that he had another motive, without his family now, he wanted a new family, somewhere to belong and he expressed that there would be no greater honor than to become Vulkan's son. Vulkan hearing that was very moved, but still asked if this is what he really wanted. The child didn't back down. Vulkan could see then how this child managed to survive for so long, his stubbornness reminded him of Rogal. And so the course was changed to Nocturne where the child was about to be dropped off for his training to become a Space Marine. Vulkan though had to leave again, but before he did, he took the child on a great mountain where they spoke one last time before Vulkan departed.
"Let me tell you something that my father told me. Look at the stars, the great kings of the past look down on us from those stars. So whenever you feel alone just remember that those kings will always be there to guide you and so will I"
And so Vulkan had to leave and the child begun his training. Years passed and he managed to preserve, the geneseed was very compatible with the child to everyone's surprise. The kid grew healthy and strong and in time became a true son of Vulkan and always when he was in doubt or felt weak or alone he looked at the stars knowing that his Primarch, new father Vulkan was out there, believing he can become a Salamander and so were all the other Priamrchs and the Emperor of Mankind himself. The new Salamander faced many battles since then, sometimes being able to fight alongside Vulkan as well. But then, the disaster happened. Horus Heresy broke out and Salamander were ambushed at Istvaan V, he was one of the lucky ones that managed to survive although with bad injuries, but Primarch Vulkan was said to be killed. He was devastated, once again he lived when his own family was slaughtered. His faith wavered like never before. Sometimes he even considered ending it all, but even with that he still pushed through, but he was slowly losing himself. Until Vulkan reemerged. The Salamander couldn't believe it. His father was alive... And once he woke up from his stasis he was put into due to certain events on Macragge he was able to talk to him. He told him of all the troubles, all the faith he lost over the course of the heresy. He lost so many of his new family, he was alone for so long without him, he didn't know what to do. He wanted Vulkan to help him. Then Vulkan put a hand on his shoulder.
"I never left you and never will."
Then he remembered his words about the kings in the stars, about how many things he survived and how much he pushed through. It was like Vulkan was always there with him. Guiding him. With all other Salamanders that lost their lives at Istvaan. Then Vulkan said one more thing
"Remember who you are."
At first it sounded strange to him. He knew who he was. He was a Space Marine, meant to protect the Imperium, a proud son of Vulkan. But then his thoughts went back to the planet he was born on. The time when his family was killed and his city destroyed. He had to remember who he was. He was a child that preserved against all odds and became a Space Marine to protect others from the fate he suffered back then. With this new realization, this new clarity his faith was restored. His mission was now clear. He couldn't let himself be brought down by all of this because there are people out there that he swore to protect. People who right now may suffer horribly at the hands of Xenos and traitors. He couldn't let himself be brought down. Not now. Not ever.

At this point I can't imagine other voices than TTS version for the primarchs that are already featured there. Zoran is AWESOME as Leman Russ, as is Zegram as Magnus. The latter may be not a "perfect" fit, but it makes him even more believable IMO.

Okay wow, that quote from Mufasa, with a tiny bit of recontextualization and paraphrasing, would fit Vulkan so incredibly well.
Instead of the "great kings of the past" change it to "the Emperor, and all those who have fallen fighting in his name." or something like that, and I can just imagine him telling it to a recent Astartes conscript who might be struggling in training.
Better yet, make the first quote him talking to a child from his homeworld.

You know...I wish they actually make him have regret and guilt for the things he's done whenever he's not murdering but the butcher's nails aren't letting him maybe even make him have some tears.
But that wouldn't match with the butcher's nails lore, because it said to kill emotions except for rage.

To me the only canon voices for all primarchs are the ones from TTS. Cannot see Magnus the same anymore without his Australian accent, Rogal Dorn with his deadpan voice, and Leman Russ with his Scottish accent. Oh and there's Vulkan with his incredibly optimistic voice.
