It is absolutely criminal that channel is still relatively small and unknown. I mean only 220k subs?? That's horrendous, this channel deserves to be amongst the most subscribed photography channels here on TH-cam. The amount of bland, almost copy pasted, photography channels on here is pretty large. And then there's you, no one does videos like you. There is so much effort, so much passion, so much creativity, so much knowledge and it's all wrapped in this beautiful package that always hits me with nice melancholic undertones, cool futuristic/cyberpunk visuals and near philosophical lines. That is just perfection. I absolutely love the content you put out, it's so inspiring! Thank you for your hard work and keep it up!

I know it's not reasonable, but oh I wish there was a 56x56mm digital sensor out there. I'm curious how it was framing with the 500 without a mask on the viewfinder. What an awesome direction to take a camera. Embracing a wonderful heritage, the actual cameras, and also providing a new solution seamlessly. Glad to see it has a tilting screen for that waist-level experience that I think is so critical to how these cameras operate.
Your work DEMANDS my undivided attention, and I love it. I know there are other factors to consider here, but I would love to see more screen time for each sample photo. With all of the effort you put into crafting this audio visual experience, it hurts me to interrupt it by pausing so that I can spend another few seconds to visually "fall into" the photos and let them speak. I'm sure you are plenty aware of this as you likely edit your own work, but most of your other videos from the past 12 months give a couple extra seconds of screen time to each photo. I was really craving that here.
Im soooo happy to see you cover this body, I got a 907x50c before the holidays and just adore the unit. While the electronic shutter is ehhhhh, the photos are just amazing. And being able to finally use my 500c again..... the best.
Wow! I just watched this on my 65 inch Sony with headphones. The production is the best I’ve ever seen on TH-cam. Absolutely stunning! Over the past week I have probably watched at least 15 videos on the Hasselblad 907X and CFV100C, and this one is by far my favorite. Such a creative and unique approach. i have an old rollei 6008af that was able to do this back in 2002 amazing camera. the modern version is the HY6 under names like sinar rollei or leaf. which is designed to be the perfect hybrid MF camera working with both film and digital backs. wouldn't recommended it due to its really high price though
As a recent adopter of Hasselblad 500 C & C/M into my arsenal, I love this ecosystem. It’s amazing that the ancient V system is still supported today with new releases. Yes, the V system doesn’t quite work the same with this back as the new body & lenses do, but it’s pretty mindblowing that 60-70 year old technology can work together with 2024 technology. I love my Leaf Aptus 75 (as do my walls with two 30x40 prints I made from my first trip to Yosemite last year). Having a more modern and high-res sensor would be even more amazing - even if I have to be good about adding the exposure info into the EXIF manually from my 500 C :)

Back in 2001 Silicon Film was about to release the "EFS-1" - which was a 35mm digital film roll that could fit in any 35mm - still sad that this never came to actual fruition, I think there is still a huge market for it. Being able to use a Yashica T5 or something digitally would be so awesome. Hasselblad did good here, except for the price :')

I can understand that as a product review channel there's a level of consumer fetishism to expect but at what point does the answer of "I like it you don't know" become exhausted to the issuer, for insurance what point did you/do you say "ok so the new feature about this iphone is it's blue?" Of course there is a level where the enjoyment is about the gear and not the use of the gear which is a different kinda issue imo similar to gun nuts but less harmful bc no one dies from our shutter pulls lol

I'm content using a clunky UI that looks like a 1996 VCR. I'm okay with one in every 10 shots being lost due to random sync error. 32GB CF cards are pretty modern! I'm happy with TIF files missing EXIF data! Of course I don't need to upgrade. I don't need to upgrade. Don't add to shopping cart.
Insane. I saw the news about the 100C and here you had one for awhile... this thing is so tempting. I had a 907X 50CII last year and felt it limited my 500C/M. It was beautiful, and the images were insane, but I ended up finding a good deal on a Phase One P45+ for V and the only think I don't like about it is the need to hook it up to the PC socket. It's 39mpx, and I can flip it vertically as it has positioning for vertical. It's also a bit larger than the 44x33mm MF sensors of today. Is it better? Nope. It's old CCD tech, but it works for my taste.
The images looked a bit blurry; fortunately it was the auto quality being as low as 480p in my ultrawide monitor, so I manually put it high to watch your amazing videos as they should be viewed. This camera design, makes me feel optimistic, as living the future as I imagined it. Can sound a bit hyperbolic but I simply mean that when kid I thought the future would look like Blade Runner, the same designs or devices but with more neon details or so. I have a smartphone like everybody, but find more joy in my Sony Ericsson with buttons and so.
I love this video. You PERFECTLY explain what this is objectively, and subjectively why that is so special. But I don't think the photos show it. Not that the photos aren't beautiful and a joy to look at, but I don't see what makes them photos that THIS camera had to get on a technical level - because I totally believe that Hasselblad wouldn't just be putting out this camera for the experience of using it. I'm sure there's an IQ gain there. Are the gains 2024 so small? Or did TH-cam's compression just do you REAL dirty?
