Your videos are among the very few that I take the time to watch without any distractions, in full screen, spellbound to the monitor. The cyberpunk color grade, music, sound design, and also the images presented, are all exquisite. Bravo!
It is absolutely criminal that channel is still relatively small and unknown. I mean only 220k subs?? That's horrendous, this channel deserves to be amongst the most subscribed photography channels here on TH-cam. The amount of bland, almost copy pasted, photography channels on here is pretty large. And then there's you, no one does videos like you. There is so much effort, so much passion, so much creativity, so much knowledge and it's all wrapped in this beautiful package that always hits me with nice melancholic undertones, cool futuristic/cyberpunk visuals and near philosophical lines. That is just perfection. I absolutely love the content you put out, it's so inspiring! Thank you for your hard work and keep it up!
The only TH-camr whose videos I immediately pull fullscreen on my 4K display. Gorgeous as always, and what a cool system! I had an opportunity to use a Leaf digital back many many years ago and it was a similarly magical experience, but this looks like a whole other level!
Every ending of your video gives me goosebumps with the atmospheric soundtrack! And thanks for keeping the video at this ratio, very immersive when being watched on an ultrawide monitor. :)
13 reviews for this came up on my TH-cam today. This is the first and essentially only one I need to watch. Another exceptional piece, and what a camera‽
not only the coolest looking videos on photo equipment, but a true master photographer, with such inspiring vision and visual language, always blows me away,
Wow! I just watched this on my 65 inch Sony with headphones. The production is the best I’ve ever seen on TH-cam. Absolutely stunning! Over the past week I have probably watched at least 15 videos on the Hasselblad 907X and CFV100C, and this one is by far my favorite. Such a creative and unique approach. And your stills are equally stunning. I can’t wait to watch the rest of your work and look forward to future videos.
I'm not even a bit interested in the hasselblad. But sometimes i watch videos like this twice. just because i enjoy your way of visualizing stuff. Your skills and the way you show them are outstanding
What in the name of “Kage Bunshin no jutsu” is happening?! I mean considering the “quality” of your videos, your frequency of upload has gone off the charts from December of last year 📈💥, gotta hand it you Casey, I don’t know what else to say but… keep going… I guess 😅
First time in my LIFE, I am drawn to a Hasselbald camera - And OH MY GOSH. Your Photography is mesmerising !! I am jsut going to watch this video again in a moment.
That voice transition @1:02 from machine to human is just sick! 👏 Again, another superb production with unique sound/music and full of artistic images as always. We want more of your content.
Im soooo happy to see you cover this body, I got a 907x50c before the holidays and just adore the unit. While the electronic shutter is ehhhhh, the photos are just amazing. And being able to finally use my 500c again..... the best.
I know it's not reasonable, but oh I wish there was a 56x56mm digital sensor out there. I'm curious how it was framing with the 500 without a mask on the viewfinder. What an awesome direction to take a camera. Embracing a wonderful heritage, the actual cameras, and also providing a new solution seamlessly. Glad to see it has a tilting screen for that waist-level experience that I think is so critical to how these cameras operate.
Echoing everyone else's comments on the quality of content as usual, but I love that you can use this with the film version. It's like up cycling old tech to the modern era.
i have an old rollei 6008af that was able to do this back in 2002 amazing camera. the modern version is the HY6 under names like sinar rollei or leaf. which is designed to be the perfect hybrid MF camera working with both film and digital backs. wouldn't recommended it due to its really high price though
I'm in love with your content! The passion and effort shines and elegantly convey the information and the unique aesthetic really sets the tone for your videos.
Your camera skills are incredible, i feel like i struggle to produce anything remotely decent yet here you are taking photos of propane tanks and making them look exquisite.
Your videos are absolutely above and beyond any photography channel on TH-cam. Keep up the amazing work. Much love and respect - Christopher (Ontario, Canada)
Your work DEMANDS my undivided attention, and I love it. I know there are other factors to consider here, but I would love to see more screen time for each sample photo. With all of the effort you put into crafting this audio visual experience, it hurts me to interrupt it by pausing so that I can spend another few seconds to visually "fall into" the photos and let them speak. I'm sure you are plenty aware of this as you likely edit your own work, but most of your other videos from the past 12 months give a couple extra seconds of screen time to each photo. I was really craving that here.
As a recent adopter of Hasselblad 500 C & C/M into my arsenal, I love this ecosystem. It’s amazing that the ancient V system is still supported today with new releases. Yes, the V system doesn’t quite work the same with this back as the new body & lenses do, but it’s pretty mindblowing that 60-70 year old technology can work together with 2024 technology. I love my Leaf Aptus 75 (as do my walls with two 30x40 prints I made from my first trip to Yosemite last year). Having a more modern and high-res sensor would be even more amazing - even if I have to be good about adding the exposure info into the EXIF manually from my 500 C :)
This is freaking cool! Can something like this exist for Mamiya cameras please??? Another gorgeous video - with what may be some of the most beautiful photos you've shared. Thanks as always!
Did I see Prehistoric Forest, and a bit of downtown Jackson, in there? You were in my neck of the woods. Doing a deep dive into your videos and loving your approach. Cheers from 2024 mid Michigan.
OMG, if I were in marketing for Hasselblad, I'd be wetting myself after seeing this --- just love this and all your videos-- the alarm sound with the red light at the beginning was geek heaven for me!!! just epic!!!! I love how you are a minidisc guy too, (I am as well, since first seeing them at CES in 91) --- so again, can't give you enough adjectives for your work :) I think at this point I'd pay you to fit my voice work somewhere in your video LOL--- yeah I'm gushing at your work right now!!!
This camera is my dream camera. I wish I could get this one day. And I want to see your studio room tour. I'm so curious about what is your studio like.
I've played with adapting my V series glass to my Fuji GFX and it's just not quite the same. Beautiful, but not the same as using the Hasselblad. The modular back is really something special.
Insane. I saw the news about the 100C and here you had one for awhile... this thing is so tempting. I had a 907X 50CII last year and felt it limited my 500C/M. It was beautiful, and the images were insane, but I ended up finding a good deal on a Phase One P45+ for V and the only think I don't like about it is the need to hook it up to the PC socket. It's 39mpx, and I can flip it vertically as it has positioning for vertical. It's also a bit larger than the 44x33mm MF sensors of today. Is it better? Nope. It's old CCD tech, but it works for my taste.
Anotrher amazing video filling me with inspiration - is it possible in the future for oyu to break out the photo specs when you show them - body, lens, ap, iso etc? or is that too much work?
That is why I have a ROLLEI Wide , 55mm F4 ; my baby is a pleasure to shoot and it does not chase people away ....they actually WANT to see it , and get their photo taken. Amazing !
Fantastic images and production value as always! Small warning on the electronic shutter- I totally underestimated the issues shooting with ES- shooting a stationary portrait even at very high shutter speeds with the smallest twitch of movement in your hands result in warped faces and background. So definitely only for a tripod, coming from film I underestimated that on my gfx.
Hi, Gx! Great video as always! Anyway, your Patreon section of the video is so good. I was thinking how can I be part of it? Maybe I could send footage of me speaking my native language? Thank you so much for great videos you published. The original A7S video is really my favorite one.
Back in 2001 Silicon Film was about to release the "EFS-1" - which was a 35mm digital film roll that could fit in any 35mm - still sad that this never came to actual fruition, I think there is still a huge market for it. Being able to use a Yashica T5 or something digitally would be so awesome. Hasselblad did good here, except for the price :')
ugggh. I don't need this camera. I already have a P45+. It's fine! I don't need 100 megapixels. I'm okay with having to use an external sync cable. It builds character. I'm content using a clunky UI that looks like a 1996 VCR. I'm okay with one in every 10 shots being lost due to random sync error. 32GB CF cards are pretty modern! I'm happy with TIF files missing EXIF data! Of course I don't need to upgrade. I don't need to upgrade. Don't add to shopping cart.
Hi your video is so good! Just curious why do you use Chinese characters on your review covers. It's aesthetic and I find it's interesting as a Chinese.
such a nerd
coolest nerd on TH-cam.
lmao
One of my favorite nerd's 😊
I assume that's why we come here
you'll get there ..in like 5 years

Could not agree more. I always want to take time without anyone distracting, because the videos are so good. Much love for your art!
I just discovered the joy of using earbuds for listening. I’ve been missing out…
Same
100%
This is one of few channels where I put away my phone to open may MacBook and watch in best resolution
the same!! hahaha I watch them on my TV at full resolution.
Love your channel Casey!
Thank you so much :))
DUDE PLEASE STOP. I CANT TAKE SUCH AMMOUT OF COOLNESS IN THIS LITTLE TIME!
If had to choose, to only watch only one photography related channel on yt from now on, no doubt you are the one and only!

Having a 21:9 and seeing videos without baked in black bars make my heart sing

The quality of the video (image, audio, settings) and storytelling is just amazing. Thank you for this beautiful piece of art. 👏👏👏
good lord this video is amazing
I see a notification for GxAce and I turn on my 4K TV to watch instead to give it the honour it deserves.
Nice call back to the imperial alarm there
My favorite Hasselblad camera system!
So happy that you've made content regarding the upgraded digital back too 😍

Echoing everyone else's comments on the quality of content as usual, but I love that you can use this with the film version. It's like up cycling old tech to the modern era.

Pergaps the only youtube channel where I turn of the captions because it looks so good

Your videos are the best GxAce. Are you planning to release a fine art photography book in the future that we can purchase?

This makes so much sense. Shocked it's taken this long to get here.
This is by far a Cameras , camera. The fact that you can swap from the digital to the film structure is just.....bad ass..
Bro, WHAT THE HACK IS THAT? Are you a Hollywood director movie?
Such a stunning video, Jesus!! Just want to get this level one day!
Thank You for this awesome video. Nice color grade. Also I hope other companies like Pnetax or Mamiya come up with similar designs.
Wow insane video and insane images!

Its actually a clip from a short film on my channel :D th-cam.com/video/lNeGkjaGtY8/w-d-xo.html
That’s so cool that you can basically turn it into a digital back!! Great video as always!
Amazing work bro ❤
Keep it up ✨️

The camera is medium format in the same way as DX in the 35mm world is "fullformat".
Comparing the 907x to 6x6... well..
