  • A taste challenge! Both are American adjunct lagers.
Miller High Life- introduced in 1855 as "Fred. Miller Lager". Renamed in 1903. 4.6% alcohol. 7 IBU. Certified kosher. A Molson Coors brand.

I am impressed with your knowledge of Eastern European history as relates to beer! You have obviously done your share of homework. I enjoy your insightful vids!

Thanks, and I do tend to read quite a bit about history.

Always loved your Miller High Life on draft versus Miller Genuine Draft comparisons.

I would love to try National Bohemian. I just started on a 30 pack of Miller High Life a few days ago and I'm loving it!

Nat Bohemian is a great beer for sure. Its no Schlitz, but it's better than most macros.

Had a draft Natty Boh at Phillips Seafood a few years ago during a trip to Baltimore. Wish it made its way to the upper midwest because it was pretty decent. A joint near me serves High Life draft for like $3 a pitcher which is a steal.

Yeah, Miller High Life on tap is great, for sure. Thanks for watching, vrpk7. I appreciate it!

My Uncle told me about a National brand beer he drank back in the 70s with a purple dragon on the label. Have you ever heard of that?

No, I sure have not heard of it.

Natty Boh for the win for exactly the reason you stated. Has that slight black pepper like hop spice note on the back end. Even though clearly a corn adjunct lager (like MHL), it's a little drier and less residual sweetness too. National Bohemian one of best AAL's in my book. High Life fine too but 2nd place in this matchup.

You can’t find Colt 45 anywhere!! I wonder why? Wait - Pabst owns them now? That explains it!!
    Freaking Pabst, I tell you.

Yeah- Pabst Brewing is definitely the problem, with anything they own. Thanks for watching, Jack. I appreciate it!

Drinking on High Life tonight. Just can't go wrong with a Miller High Life. Though I would like to try National Bohemian. Cheers 🍻
