    I loved this - im British but have been to Pittsburgh, as well as a lot of other places in the USA (8 different States), as its my favourite American Sports town. I follow all the local teams, starting with the Steelers way back in the mid 1980s. I managed to get across to visit Pittsburgh in 1990, and was lucky enough in seeing both the Steelers and Pirates play in old Three Rivers Stadium. The new stadiums look absolutely fantastic, and id love to make a return visit one day !!
    A great channel, thanks so much for posting these videos

    Hello pirates fans. I'm a California SF Giants fan with my dad's side of the family in NE Ohio about an hour from Cleveland and Pittsburgh. We went to PNC one summer to see a Giants vs pirates game and I have to say pnc is a very nice park. I'd say it's my number 3 after Oracle in SF and Petco in SD. Progressive in Cleveland is still really nice even being much built in 94. Pittsburgh just needs to spend money and keep its great players. After we won 3 in 5 years I can say winning those world series is a great feeling and pirates fans haven't had that since stargel and co

    It's a beautiful ballpark! My cousin and I traveled from St. Louis to see a Pirates/Indians game this past June, the view was amazing! I loved it so much, I looked ahead in the schedule to see if the Cardinals were going to be in town over the summer. So, I'm bringing my wife and daughter, and we're going to two back-to-back games the second week of August. We're sitting in section 316, up high but behind home plate. Only $21 a ticket. We don't get tickets that cheap for a similar section at Busch Stadium!

    Thanks for sharing. I went to PNC Park for the first time in September 2021. Incredible. I have been to St Louis, Wrigley, Fenway and probably a half a dozen other parks PNC was the best. The bar and picnic area alone the first base line overlooking the Allegheny is awesome. I saw a day game with perfect weather and was pissed it was over so quick.

    The Clemente bridge has a big diaper on it at the moment so be aware if you come soon. 😂 Its under repair for 2 years, hoping the tarps don't stay on any near that long.
    Also I kind of agree on your Primanti's take I often find them too dry. Especially if you get over cooked or older fries. I end up taking them apart and splashing something on them.

    • @BlockingThePlate

    A $60 seat at PNC goes for $300 at Fenway. PNC is a lot more comfortable too. It’s just a shame that I’m not a fan of the team that plays in my hometown. PNC is a great night out nonetheless. Reasonable prices, good food, beautiful ballpark with tremendous views of downtown.

    Just because they serve such a mass amount of people it’s my personal opinion to just eat at the actual Primanti brothers restaurant and try to get something traditional like a hotdog or the pierogies at Steelers pirates and penguins games. I mean it’s not terrible but it’s a lot fresher in in my opinion and a lot better if you just sit down at the restaurants in the surrounding areas of town.

    level 200 or 300? i read 300 is nice because you get to see what you see on 200 and also get to see the river so i’m stuck on which view to buy for😢. don’t wanna sit too high and possibly struggle to see but that view of the river would be nice too!

    Take away the view and rate the park itself.
    Seems like a very average ballpark

    • @BlockingThePlate
      @BlockingThePlate  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      By that logic, San Francisco is an average park if you take out McCovey Cove, or Baltimore if you take out the warehouse, etc. Take the view out, and this is still a beautiful park. The field is impeccable (I've played on it) and the updates they've made are all great. The 200-level clubs, the concourses in the outfield, and more.
