- "Another Chuck Berry song added to the repertoire for the Grateful Dead to rock out on, Around and Around was played consistently from late 1970 until 1995. It was primarily a show-closer in 1978, was joined with Good Lovin' mostly from 1979 onward, but in Spring 1990 it became a stand-alone show closer again, in a new arrangement, as heard here." - Devid Lemieux

Will you come with me? Won't you come with me? There's no better place to take a long strange trip with the Grateful Dead than right here. We've got music from every single studio album and a bevy of live albums, to boot. There are celebrated live performances from the 70s and 80s and official videos with more skeletons than you can shake your bones at, an exclusive seaside series on what's to come from the band's rich catalog and details on meet-ups all across the promised land. If it's community you’re after, try your hand at our yearly DEAD COVERS PROJECT competition and connect with fellow Dead Heads around the world. Heck, keep your eyes peeled you might even catch a glimpse of Pigpen on keys, Jerry in a GROOVE, Bobby tellin' tales, Mickey talkin' space, Phil and friends, Bill on the beach, or anyone from our extended family.
It's all happenin' right here. Subscribe and you won't miss a thing.

🪶👑🐣🎸💛 hey Grateful Dead, I was just 12 when I was listening to Touch of Grey, and I forgot how much I remember loving your songs!! 😍💓🦤
The Grateful Dead saved my life
Same brother🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊❤❤❤
Many times 💀🌹⚡
They are my best friends that I never met in person.
I’m in a hospital in Louisville right now for small cell cancer so great timing on a classic toon!
So many Blessings...🙏
Best wishes to you from the UK.
Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers, good luck brother!
❤
wish you the best. Happy healing brother.
I truly LOVE THIS JAM!😅
The Dead sound is indescribable. It is unregulated and full of charisma.
My first Dead show ever. I was hooked after this one. Could not believe the parking lot scene. I was in heaven. Grew to appreciate their music as I grew up. I'm ecstatic every time I see a video clip from a show I attended. Thank you for sharing this one!!!
Spring 1989 we, my buddies and I, drove down from Eastern Pennsylvania to see the shows in Cincinnati and Louisville, and were treated to two great shows. A killer "Blow Away" in Cincy where a fan jumped the railing at the back of the stage and danced out in front of Brent and Jerry, and a "Louie, Louie" in Louisville! Hey Now!!!
When we were in San Francisco we went to Phil’s wife’s room with her Bobby., me ,my niece to watch Excalibur uncut + will never forget that special time ! ❤️🐇🐰🌹💙🩵👽🪐🛸🚀☄️💥⚡️🥀
Love the part where Brent switches from keys to B3! So awesome!
IMO no one covers Dylan or Chuck better than good old Grateful Dead. N.F.A 65-95!!!
I went to 130 or so shows and this one was easily in the Top 3. Just a fantastic , hot as hell day in Louisville.
The switch to the organ moment was fantabulous 😎
Sweet, sweet music.......
My first Dead show!!
My first show.
What a great time we all had 😁⚡️🚀 great to see a show in your hometown
Thanks Dead Channel…I was there!!
Love this song 🥰
Good songs will never die!😂🎉❤
Brent in HD Shirt, Love the way he spun from the piano to the Hammond B3 in the middle of his jam. He was all there, only 20 more days. So sad
Shalom! Blessings, peace and love to all in this Easter weekend. All about Ascension❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Listen to Around and Around from 6/28/92 and comment
👂 🌎 💚
brent wails !!
Must have been early set 1... Jerry is so smacked out...
boring version
I dunno why they did this fucking song. 😂
they rocked it thats why
It's a great fit for the Dead. I especially like this verse because it's all the dancing instructions you need...
"Well it sounds so sweet
I had to take me a chance
Rose out of my seat
I just had to dance
Started moving my feet
Whoa and clapping my hands"
It sounds like they are barely trying, so it just seems like they hate this song or something
Filler song
@@MSAPtube This was a really mellow show, & really hot out. I remember my girlfriend at the time & I left a couple of songs early. We drug are coolers full of icy pops & dry ice to the front of the stadium. Sold out in 20 minutes man so much fun, thought those days would never end!!
Hi Deads we all alive! Listen to The GREATFUL DEAD ....
