I’ve had dizzy spells since I was little. I’m turning 66 in a few months and vertigo episodes were becoming more frequent as I aged. Three years ago, I lost 32 lbs & started walking everyday. I’ve changed my eating habits, greatly reduced alcohol intake (to almost none) and hydrate diligently. My vertigo disappeared. I pray it doesn’t return.
What a refreshing Program. I am 81 years old and people don't understand why i don't like to take meds. I always want to use only something holistic. I’ve developed Vertigo approximately 8 Months Ago, and Had to go to The Hospital by Ambulance, due to firstly My room spinning uncontrollably, so I had to close my eyes, and fortunately fell asleep. In the morning I went to get a drink from the kitchen, and became so dizzy, that I actually Fainted. That’s when I called an Ambulance. I spent The day and night in The Hospital, with no real help, but finally diagnosed with Vertigo, but no treatment. I’m now 71. Thanks 🙏 so much for Your Help, because I have so many different problems, and on so many medications, I’d be so Thankful indeed if You can help me through my Neurologist, whom I’ve already made an appointment with. You’re so Wonderful. ♥️♥️
Thank you for this timely video. I stumbled upon it about two hours before taking my 93 year old mother to an appointment in a Rehabilitation clinic. The Therapist was Great!!! Very through and patience with my mother. We left very encouraged and new hope. Thank for sharing.

I have been suffering from vertigo since I am 18yrs old. I am currently 50 years old now and still having bouts of vertigo. This is the best information that I have come across related to the complexity of vertigo. Thank you for the work that you do and for this incredible video.
Hello Maam Lisa, you have mentioned you have vertigo since you were 18 years of age, and how are you improving this time? What medication did you take? And how it helping you?
I have noticed a big difference in my balance since my cataract surgery, both eyes. Amazing how much sight is involved with balance. The senses are connected.
Aside from your very simple explanation, we uphold for your eloquence, versatility and we'll explained topics as a whole and the two of you are beautiful.
Excellent! I never thought that the US has good doctors that care about their patients. Thank you so much for this valuable information that teaches the audience about things that should not be ignored. I always took care of my father when he was alive. I always like to educate myself with programs like this one. Wonderful! Thank you so much once again!
“Excellent!! I never thought that the US has good doctors that care about their patients” What a such stupid introduction!! What made you think that US doesn’t have good doctors? We have eminences that care about their patients..
There's a few. There's always outliers. But you're right, the general doctor in the US tends to have be quite strange, indeed. Even the good hearted ones have often learned all the wrong stuff. "Research physicians" are usually some of the best you'll find in America. People who split time between research and patient work. They tend to be quite smart.
This is an amazing presentation. I'm 72 years old and have had episodes of vertigo, which stops me in my tracks for decades. I don't have $ for a therapist, but the dietary recommendations I can do. Thank you for this video!!
Try DMG (an amino acid) I couldn't turn my head to change lanes without feeling a spin. It's a sub-lingual that tastes slightly sweet. Fixed my vertigo in 10 minutes. I carry it in my purse for emergencies.
Thank you so much Dr. Kimberley & all doctors presented. Thank God for Doctors like you who truly care & not just make money like others. It's very informative. God bless you.🙏❤
Thank you for this informative information . I am 76yrs old and have been treating diabetes and hypertension with exercising since April this year. I felt very good with this new direction in my health. But recently I felt this dizziness and the lack of balancing well. I had to support with a crutch to feel safe. Thank you for all this advice. I got vertigo when my father was very sick and I had to look after him. It was a very excruciatingly difficult and scary time. And now I have it in varying degrees all the time. I’ve learned to fight the fear and keep going. But sometimes I can’t do that.
I have been experiencing dizziness and headache. Had MRI done and nothing found . But still having dizziness and balance problem. My Dr prescribed meclizine. When I take meclizine I am in bed for two days, tired , sleepy, brain fog. Becoming irritable. Now I’m beginning to see that this make all sense. Dr now a days don’t listen. This was a fabulous video! I learned so much about the various causes of dizziness and vertigo. After experiencing dizziness for about a week recently I felt so helpless, like I wouldn't be able to go out on my own any more, etc. This has given me confidence and hope for my future. Same here! Search for the Eppley Maneuver here on TH-cam - lots of demonstrations and it works with a little trial and error! Also, I've found that my sneeze leaks are almost 100% resolved by giving up SUGAR - the evil toxic substance that is ubiquitous in our food system. I eat only fresh whole foods, nothing processed and NO added sugars. I void citrus fruit too - strictly keto :)
At 51, 1st time I was diagnosed and experienced this vertigo for about 7-10 days. It was sudden. Doctor prescribed some drugs, but I stopped taking them on the 3rd day. I sorta changed my diet, and felt better.

Otolaryngologist (ENT) vestibular specialist Dr. Carol Foster, MD has a terrific video to treat vertigo. In her TH-cam video- she demonstrates a maneuver to reposition the crystals in the posterior canal and put them back into the utricle. She is a Professor and Physician at University of Colorado Health in Denver. Just some additional information to layer with the fantastic presentation. Respectfully, Dr. Lana Brumfield, Ph.D., AGACNP-BC
What an explanation, wish we had a doctor like her in Bahrain, never seen a doctor like her explaining everything not like those doctors who fill you with drugs.. ☝️MashaAllah
I have learned through vértigo treatment that different temperatures in the ear canals causes vertigo, and that prescribed medication for vertigo can cause heart arrhythmia. By covering my ears to maintain equal temperatures while sleeping the morning vertigo is prevented. The medication I gave back to the doctor.

Thank you for speaking out and telling us what we can do for vertigo and not just take medication. It was eyeopening what the anti-psychotids, antidepressants, anti anxiety drugs effect. Thank you for your candid discussion of these medications. Physicians omit this information when prescribing. Applause for this conference.
Thank you for this. I try as much as possible to question whatever drug a doctor wants to prescribe and if I can get by without it, I will. I saw the damage medications did to my sister and I don't want that for myself. We have to take on personal responsibility for this - don't take the easy way out with pills if at all possible! I've experienced vertigo twice now and both times the doctors wanted to prescribe medication, if nothing else for the nausea, but I opted not to. Luckily, the Epley maneuver has helped me. Praying for all of you as well.
Only 20 minutes in after watching Dr. Newman report and this is absolutely true and sharing it w/ my family. I'm on so so many different medications and I had a feeling the medication was making me worse than the original problem w/ bladder or w/ depression. So excellent. This is valuable information and a big relief, there is hope.... I've been suffering with vertigo for three and a half years... Still haven't been diagnosed. I barely came across this conference.
My vertigo was from grinding my teeth from stress .Doctors had no clue or even asked me if I grind my teeth. A dentist told me there was nothing wrong with my teeth. As my back two teeth hurt. He said -by chance do you grind your teeth? I said Yes for 3 yours. He said yup that’s the reason. I was shocked. Well I quit grinding my teeth. (Was hard) But it worked. !

I was diagnosed with cancer 8 months ago and completed 6 months of chemotherapy. Cancer and vertigo is a bad combination. I had three severe vertigo episodes during my chemo treatments. Two episodes during my stay at the VA Cancer Clinic in Seattle and one at home. The first episode was scary. I got up from a lying position, blacked out, spun around, dropped and hit the right and left side of my head causing a two two inch gashes in my skull and a concussion.
What a great presentation from all the presenters. Am 72 years old and I have one time and another experienced the two plus raised Blood pressure which I ensured I prevented my GP over loading me with medications. Now am enjoying my retirement as a nurse without meds except the ones I take now to improve my immune to combat covid-19 virus.
I’m 64 and I had a swimming sensation when I laid down at night and only if I turn to the right side. I had it for about a year until my ENT did the epley method and in her office, It went away. And ever since then, I actually miss that swimming sensation when I lay down. It was almost soothing to me.
You miss that swimming sensation...? You're kidding, right? I've suffered from Meniere's since 1995. It changed my life by limiting what I can or can't do--and even what I can eat. I can't ride as a passenger in any vehicle--sometimes can't drive--or go on a boat, jet ski, ATV, etc. I would give *almost* anything to have that gone from my life.

Try to check if you are sensible to gluten. Wheat flour specially that these days is also GM most of it if not all. Check that because it is uncommon for doctors to think about that when checking people. Sensitivity or allergy to gluten could go undiagnosed for many years. How about thirty? In the meantime one or all of your organs or one or all of your body systems could suffer serious harm. It could be a life changing problem or if you become allergic could put you at risk. Like the people who suffer allergy to bee sting, or sea food etc.... But chronic suffering could be damaging to a point of affecting your hair, skin, digestion ( mimicking. irritable bowel syndrome and all those problems but also affecting the production of collagen that protects the lining of the organs), eye health, teeth ( not enough calcium absorption and fracture of the pieces) muscle mass loss, bone loss, anxiety ( it could produce anxiety by itself) A long etc.... If you find that you are sensible you will feel far better once you stop consuming it. Yet, if you are sensible but not allergic, from time to time you could have a very little piece of regular bread to prevent getting too far from the irritant in a way that your body could forget that it exist and become really allergic. Must be a little something and not a big amount or you will feel kind of sick in 24/48 hours. When I read about that timing I couldn’t believe it because I ‘ve had noticed that before when I eat wheat . I do not feel foggy but I feel sick to my stomach/liver/ pancreas area and my intestines. I do not feel well when I eat regular flour. Some people could feel some dizziness, skin issues, develop atopic dermatitis and as I said before, a long etc.....
Gosh, a holistic assessment. Imagine that! If insurance companies would reimburse this kind of approach people would be healthier and less susceptible to bankruptcy.

My mum had it when 50.She had been staying in hospital for a month. But she is 86 now and she never had again after her treatment in hospital. Myself had it on 37 after I had a treatment injury from a chiropractic from which I developed many health problems. I gradually healed after two things I did. One is exercise and the other is I became a Christian. My mum had many medicine during her stay in hospital and for sometime after her hospital. I have never taken any medicine. I had some natural product which might help but not main solution.
Recently, I had my first bout of vertigo at 74. On day 3 was brought to an urgent care clinic. After the NP went through a few tests, i was given the epley maneuver. Severe vertigo & The Dr. did a light test watching the computer screen. DO NOT sleep on your left side. Slept in chair for 3 nights & never had vertigo again. 89 yrs old
I didn't watch the video yet, but why not sleep on left side? I've been sleeping on L. for at least 3 yrs as I need a R. total shoulder replacement and bad back. Your knowledge would be appreciated.
I usually fall asleep on my left side, but switch several times during the night (usually depending on where in the bed my labrador retriever is!). What is supposedly wrong with sleeping on the left side?
I love this! My mom had meds that weren't supposed to be taken together. The doctors never cross references anything! I was always monitoring her meds. For myself I was given gabapentin for insomnia. After years l got all the side effects on only 200 mg. The worse side effects were extreme dizziness. Then l was given Ambien because the gabapentin wasn't working. Finally l almost passed out at the pool. I am weaning off the gabapentin and the Ambien. I don't drink or smoke for many years. I am now 70 and very sensitive to any drugs. I do drink caffeine. My heart is ok, my lungs are ok and my bones are good. I have strong teeth. I was a dancer and my balance is good. But l was so dizzy l was bumping into furniture. I think my whole problem was the gabapentin. Already the nausea is gone and the ringing in my ears. If l get insomnia l may take Tylenol PM. I also go for walks almost daily. At my age l don't need any brain fog or dizziness.
I also noticed when I'm on the Internet or on my phone with my head bent over too long the next spinal cord connected to the brain has caused imbalance and dizziness I am working on a different method to be sure I align my neck and my shoulders correctly and it has made a big difference
For anyone who has never suffered an attack of vertigo doesn't know how lucky they are. Myself, I have had a few dizzy spells, but only suffered from vertigo on one particular day and it lasted about an hour. The crazy thing about my attack of vertigo is that it happened as I was driving down a busy four lane road in Charleston S.C. Fortunately, I was able to immediately pull off the road. I then just sat there completely confused. The only other time I felt like that is when I got drunk as a teenager and the world would start spinning. Vertigo felt just like that. Luckily for me, that was the one and only time I got vertigo. I thank God that it did not come back. My point is this, having had that attack I understand what people who suffer from vertigo are experiencing and my heart goes out to each and every one of them. And if this lady knows who to cure people and get rid of their vertigo then she will be considered a miracle worker. Meanwhile, I have had tinnitus for thirty years, but around seven years ago the high pitched squealing noise I have in my left ear became a 24 hours a day noise. It was intermittent and then if became a continuous, none stop, 24 hours a day and it damn near drove me to complete madness. But, and that is a big BUT, if I had to chose between suffering from vertigo or this god awful noise, I would pick the noise. Yelp, at least I can still drive and walk without stumbling around like a drunken sailor. So again, my heart goes out to those who suffer from vertigo and I hope this lady can help them eliminate it. I hope she really does have the cure. Also, if anyone out there knows a way to cure someone of tinnitus I would give my left nut to get rid of this aggravating, annoying and drive-you-crazy ass noise. Anyone who suffers from tinnitus will tell you the same. They may just say left breast instead of nut. Please comment if you know the cure for vertigo or tinnitus.

Your eyes are definitely connected and visual therapy is used by some clinicians.

This woman can be best described as a sports therapist not a medical doctor
“Excellent!! I never thought that the US has good doctors that care about their patients”
What a such stupid introduction!!
The doctors don't spend any time because of managed care. Insurance companies want profits and over paid CEOs
Best I’ve heard on vertigo! Go to a physical therapist, don’t take any medication if possible...

And ever since then, I actually miss that swimming sensation when I lay down. It was almost soothing to me.

Thank you very much for teaching us, because I suffer with it and it's not very good it's scary .keep on teaching GOD bless you. Princess.

@@gypsy97feder94 ,I'm still waiting good an answer since last week. Hopefully, we won't have to wait much longer to be enlightened.
Wow! So informative. Thank you for all the wonderful information and your beautiful presentation.
San Diego has always had such wonderful resources . . . Today we learn there are even doctors making house calls! Who knew? 👏👏💃

Thank you for your hard working. Good information for everyone.
Excellent video, great information, thanks a lot, Almighty God bless all of you.
I also noticed when I'm on the Internet or on my phone with my head bent over too long the next spinal cord connected to the brain has caused imbalance and dizziness I am working on a different method to be sure I align my neck and my shoulders correctly and it has made a big difference
Muy interesante, yo he sufrido varias veces de vértigo y es horrible, gracias por la información.
