We can't even remember the last time we've seen this low wait times at the Universal Orlando Resort. What would you do FIRST if you visited the parks on a slow day like this?
Hagrid's. I live in Vegas (far) and have kids (have to visit during peak times), so I will never get to see that. Looks like you had fun!

I was just there the Sunday before Thanksgivings and it wasn't empty, but so many less people after spending 4 days at Disney. With single rider I did all the rides in Studios in 3 hrs and rode Mummy twice and watched 2 shows.
We never do the harry potter stuff outside the rides because the crowds are always just to much for me. I'd like to explore those lands a lot more
100% the Wizarding Worlds. The shops were no fun when we went especially with husband walking out because the tightness and crowds overwhelmed him.
We haven't seen a slow time like this... ever. To walk through Hogsmeade and see ground is unheard of. Wish I was there. I'm sure I will bring high wait times and crowds with me when we are there again.
😂😂 right? Hogsmeade is always SO hectic. The week after Thanksgiving is pretty slow every year, maybe you should visit then!! Lol
So happy for you Anna! Being the only ones in the shop and experiencing the wand selection just as you would if you were really an 11-year old in the wizarding world has to be the most incredible experience! When I get to go to Universal, I plan to do Olivander's late in the day and hope for a singular experience like yours!

Pre-Covid was the last time the parks weren’t crazy when we’ve been there. Hopefully, this is the start of things leveling out! Also, the key to the crepes is to slowly rip the paper down in a circle instead of pulling the crepe out. Still messy, but a little easier!
Ah, we’ll have to try that next time! We usually just open it up on a table and go for it 😂😂 messy, but it works!
Man o man ! We fly down next Saturday. Hopefully after the informer group leaves we see some slow days like this.
I went the week of Dec. 9th 2019 and the crowd was perfect. Wasn't too busy or too empty. Your timing should be perfect
We’re going down on Feb 6 after the Feb meet up, I’m hoping for the same. It will be the first week of Mardi Gras though so I doubt it.

So cute in Olivander's! So much fun! You two probably made the day of that Universal staffer by bringing so much joy into that little shop. I may never see Universal when it's uncrowded; I may never go to the park at all. However, I was able to watch two adults have a total blast. Thank you.

We were here this week as well, it was INSANE. The longest wait we had all WEEK was ~45 minutes at Hagrid's, even Disney was empty as well!
That’s crazy!! We didn’t go to Disney, but Universal was a ghost town. We loved it lol
My wife and I went on a random Tuesday last month (Feb 28th) and the longest wait on any ride was Velocicoaster and it was only 35 minutes but with Express we waited 10-15 min. Everything else was essentially walk on. Such a nice spur of the moment day trip.

WOW!! Hogsmeade crowds and your throughput time for Hagrid’s was literally less than it was for us during the November Meetup! Also, can I just say how jealous I am of your ability to just decide to pop on over to Universal whenever you want? 😂

We visited for the first time the week after thanksgiving! It was amazing!! With express, we walked right on every single ride (except hagrids and velocicoaster), saw every show we wanted, parade, etc! It was the best week ever!

We went on Mon 11/21, mid afternoon, to do the parade and some seasonal food at US. Every stand we went to was out of food. And the crowds were so bad that we only stayed for about 1.5 hours before we decided to leave. We came back on Mon 11/28 and it was like this video…no waits anywhere and easy to get your choice of parade viewing only 45 min before the parade! It was soooo nice!

I love this video so much! You both always look like you're having so much fun at the parks. I'm jealous I can't get there without years between visits so thanks for sharing for those of us who can't get there often. We'll be making our first trip ever to Disney World at the end of January and I hope it will actually be a slow time. We'll see on that, fingers crossed!
End of Jan should be a good time to go... I still recommend rope drop that way you can finish the day early, leave take a break and then come back for the fireworks.

2:35 me and my dad went in October this year, and when we got in the parks with early entry everyone flooded to Hagrid’s we went over to volocoaster and it actually had a 15 minute wait

That same day was the first time we'd been back to Universal in 10 years, so it actually felt more crowded than we were used to. Even so, we couldn't believe the wait times and just walked on to Velocicoaster for our first ride (which was INSANE!) We did Hagrid's today (Thursday) and it only took an hour - including a 25 minute breakdown delay! 😎

We were there last weekend for my birthday and the weren't too bad on Saturday morning compared to our last trip in mid-July. I got chosen during the wand experience as well (only about 6 people were in there including my husband and I). I love watching your videos. I can feel your love for the parks in each one!

We have been at the parks for the last two days and this is our first visit to universal. We have been so surprised by the low/no wait times. We have early park entry and my husband walked onto velocicoaster yesterday. The afternoon and evening got crazy in hogsmeade. Thanks for all the great videos. It helped us so much. We wanted to get butterbeer and saw an insanely long line at the butterbeer cart. I remembered one of your videos where you said to go to the other side, because people don't realize there are two lines. I walked around the back, and literally NO ONE was in line. I just walked right up! Crazy!

Wow I’m so jealous. It was rammed when we came in October and I think it did spoil it a bit. I’d be so excited to see Hogsmeade that quiet! We see a quiet Diagon Alley during HHN and it was totally my favourite thing about HHN.

My other half and I came over from the UK in early November (the rides were pretty much walk on then for a lot of them!) and I watched every single universal video you guys have done and I wanted to thank you. The tips you have given made for an amazing holiday that we will keep the memories from forever.. Anna I’m so happy you finally got picked! We probably won’t get to come back for a decade but our trip was the best and that is in part because of you two!

We did the whole park in a day. I remember going twice in mummy and hulk.
Rock it was like 10 minutes.

I’m not sure which day this was for you guys? But I went on November 13-14 and it was just like this! I walked onto literally everything.
I have pictures in Hogsmeade with no one behind me (yes, seriously lol). Of course this was rope drop EPA while everyone ran to hagrids but still 😅
This was the Tuesday after Thanksgiving! November is usually really slow all month, except for the week of thanksgiving. EPA is great for experiencing Hogsmeade with basically no crowds, too!!

Definitely Hagrid's! We were there in October 2019 with our kiddos and it was fantastic just like this during the weekdays! Just was back in October this year with the kids and it was CRAZY busy! I couldn't believe it! We stayed at Royal since we are letting our passes expire this year (from Nebraska) so we got to enjoy a lot of the rides we wanted to but still sad it was so busy! Hubby and I are coming down one last time on these passes the 10th - 13th to see the Christmas décor for the first time and I really hope at least one day is like this!! Thank you for your videos!
We're from Nebraska too. We were just there. I wanted to stay at Royal, but ww stayed at Cabana Bay. Last we were there was 2018 and a lot has changed since.

We got into town Thursday, 12/01, for the Orlando Informer Meetup. We checked into Royal Pacific and as per usual wandered into the parks. Gringotts was a walk on with Express Pass. Mummy showed a 5 minute wait, but in reality it was a walk on too. I've whined for the last couple of years about the crowds, then magically we found a slow day! Then of course Meetup was all "Ride Now" except for a 45 minute wait on Hagrid. Then there was Sunday. Back to normal. Ugh. While I'm here, I have to compliment Tyler. Your composition and video editing skills have become top notch!

This is usually the time of year we like to visit. The weather is fabulous (for us northerners) which is a break from the cool/cold we get, and the wait times are incredible. I loved that you got picked at Olivander's. Was that your first time? And of course you needed to buy the wand that was picked for you!
It was the first time either of us got picked! We were SO excited! This year is amazing because of the crowds AND the weather. Double win!! Lol
We were there for vacation last week and Tue-Thu was super thin crowds, it was amazing! Started picking up by Friday of course. Most rides were 10 min waits and we were able to get onto Hagrid’s middle of day in one hour.
Tuesday was when we shot this! The weekend was much busier, but it was so nice. What an amazing time to visit!!
I'll be there soon, I hope I get at least one day of low crowds. I was there a lot during 2020 and there were a LOT of low crowd days (40-60 minutes for Hagrid's, walk on for Velocicoaster type days). Super glad I got to experience it then, but I thought I'd never see it again! Glad you guys got to enjoy it!

Okay this is a theory I’ve had and my family and I just tested it. Mother’s Day is the most desolate day in universal. We waited 20 minutes for hagrids more than once it was pretty insane

Our usual holiday visits are during the first week in December. The hotels, if booked in advance, are really cheap! Thanks for sharing your visit!
Oh absolutely! I think someone said most of them are only like 40% booked for this week. We love it!!
@@ThePughTwo - We've learned from two of our most recent visits that the premier resorts (on-site) book conventions during the first two weeks in December. The hotels sometimes fill (but the parks don't). Last year, we paid $182/night for Royal Pacific, booked 10 mons in advance. Our companions procrastinated, and paid (I believe) $429/night! YIKES!!
OH MY LORD I WISH I WAS THERE!!!!!!!!! I used to go to universal when I was younger and like it was EMPTY cuz everybody was at school and work. But usually I would bump into my friends

I was literally there yesterday with my toddler. And it was Uber packed! 😮 Yes I am aware that the cheerleading competition is going on, so the teams are going to the parks after it to have fun. But everyone was shoulder to shoulder. I have the annual pass so on some week days right after work I would go to the parks by myself and let my kid stay at the daycare, but there was 2 different occasions where I went on the men in black ride and IT BROKE DOWN BOTH OF THOSE TIMES😤😭 I've had trouble with my laser as well. The ride definitely needs to be shut down just long enough to get a refresher/upgrade. 💯
Hi everyone! I'm the guy in the background @2:11 in the green Slytherin t-shirt. I ended up meeting Tyler and Anna in person and let me tell you... these two are just like they are in their videos. I was a little starstruck and nervous about approaching them, but they were really chill, friendly, funny, and open to chat. Even took an amazing photo with me with Hogwarts Castle in the background.
All their other videos have prepared me for this week long solo trip and all their advice have been spot on! Hagrid's Motorbike is indeed the best ride. Worth waiting 60-90 minutes, especially at night. And the Velocicoaster is the best coaster for sure. Very smooth thriller.
On the other end, Fast and Furious is comically bad that it makes Cat in the Hat look like the Mummy.
Even their quick food selections like the Smoked Brisket Crepe, Buffalo Chicken Tots, Shepard Pie Jacket Potato, and of course the Frozen Butterbeer. 🤌😘 Chef's kiss!
Anyone planning a trip to Universal should look at their past videos. You will feel very prepared and maximize your time there.

It was a beautiful day to be in the parks and it awesome meeting and talking to the two of you. You were so right, everything was a walk-on. Even the Mummy, was a true walk-on, there was no one on it. I rode Hagrid’s 3X, Velocicoaster 4X, Hulk 2X, Forbidden Journey 2X, MIB 6X, ET 2X, Gringots 3X, Mummy 3X. Anna, sorry that you didn’t beat Tyler, but were close. As for MIB, there have been issues with many of the targets on MIB. Glad that you final got to be picked for Olivanders! That was the biggest smile on your face! Ken
It was such an amazing day! The crowds were nonexistent, we wished we could’ve spend the entire day there!! It’s rare to see the parks like this, and we had an absolute blast. It sounds like you did, too!
@@ThePughTwo yes, I did! I can only recall one other day better in Dec ‘20 when I was able to ride Hagrid’s 12 times in one day!
We took our kids for the first time last year(Mid August.) Monday-Thursday was just like this. Friday was horrible. Being our first time we felt kind of lucky and spoiled. It was unforgettable!

Yes!!! I went to the parks twice this week and both days, everything was about a 10 minute wait. Hagrids was 60 minutes all day.
With early admission, and staying open-close, I feel like it would TOTALLY be possible to do every attraction.

September 2021 we went for a week. Wonderful trip. Walk on everything. We also spent a day at Hollywood Studios and did everything we wanted. It was a blast 💥

It sounds like you’re talking about Universal Hollywood! We live in Orlando and primarily visit Universal here, but January is usually a great time as far as crowds are concerned!
This is reassuring. We're taking a family vacation down there (our first time) from Virginia the week before Christmas and I was very worried about crowding. I hear it gets very busy.
Week before Christmas will be busy. They are there during that sweet spot after Thanksgiving (very busy) til the couple weeks before Christmas. (Increasing to crazy busy)
It’ll definitely be busier than this the week before Christmas, but the week of Christmas up to NYE is way worse lol. So maybe that helps? 😂

15 years ago, last time I was there, it was mid Feb, and there were no lines for the hulk. The ride operators just let us stay on the ride a few times in a row. It was pretty empty all over, but I think the Islands might have been a little more populous, maybe because they were newer at the time. I think. We really hit the jackpot that year because the weather was 80 degrees, no crowds. Going this feb, and I know I have to keep my expectations under wraps.
