I think they are planning to release the Luke Skywalker A New Hope lightsaber which to my knowledge has a different ignition (bubble design from Darth Vader’s hilt) and it’ll probably come in a exclusive workshop box with a new symbol and an update in sensitivity.
I had the same situation when I first visited Galaxy's edge with my family. Hearing the rotj ignition sound was the thing that put it over for me. The green saber is iconic Luke and so tied to his greatest heroic moment. Only problem is I now want to get more to go along with it! Haha
My first legacy lightsaber was Obi Wan's from Episode 1. I was also a little disappointed by the button not being functional. Thankfully with Qui Gon's lightsaber the button is actually a button.

The first one I bought was the Skywalker lightsaber and love it, but they’re all so cool and look awesome on display. My favorite one to swing around and just feels so balanced and good in my hand is Luke’s green lightsaber. The fat neck is ridiculous, but doesn’t bother me too much.

Picked up my first Legacy Saber this past week while at Disneyland. Went with the classic original Luke saber and I'm really happy with it. Considered also picking up the ROTJ hilt, but may need to ask a friend that is going next year to do that for me.

I’m not sure if any others stated it or if you knew already, but the wiggly ears is an ode to the original prop and most Graflex was at the time, and it appears Disney has intentionally replicated it for that reason. I used to build the higher tier replicas (though not nearly as well as the longtime pros) and the bunny wiggle is often talked about in the replica community from what I remember in the Facebook groups and forums. Ah the days.. 😂 Also: great and detailed review! Reminds me why I’m a Star Wars fan these days. 💗
The Skywalker Reforged saber is the first saber i ever bought, and as a sequel trilogy fan I love it! the details are so neat on the saber i just wished it had more sensitivity lol. I'm hoping soon I can get my hands on a Kylo Ren or the Obi-Wan bundle

Awesome video, I started my collection off last year with the Anakin Skywalker lightsaber at Disney Springs. An went last month with my family and bought all of the ones I didn’t have and whatever my brother wanted. Just the look on peoples faces as we walked out with all the saber boxes. Just preordered both Qui-Gonn and Dooku Jedi Master for me and my brother. Hopefully they come out with the Ben Kenobi Episode 4 saber by itself like they did with the Leia Saber like you said.

i finally went to disney land and picked up a legacy lightsaber. I picked up the og anakin bundle and handled the other sabers. I gotta say, they feel NICE, like ik you said they are quality 🤌🏾 but i wasnt expecting it to be this nice. I was expecting to not be happy and want to buy a neopixel right after but im happy with my purchase and i can only excite myself with the thought of a neopixel but i got my saber so i dont care if i get any more until next year👍🏾 goodjob on the video, it was a good video and helped me in actually choosing my saber along with my sister choosing hers. Disney really dropped the ball with lightsabers when you look at what 3rd party companies Vader's Vault and Parsec Sabers (for example) are doing with soundboards, smooth swing, tip drag, lock and clash and replica hilts. Like come on Disney......they really dropped the ball with Kylo's saber and the bunk sound board in it.....

Its so strange to me that collectors would be OK giving Disney their money for TWO HUNDRED DOLLAR MINIMUM lightsabers that 1) aren't movie accurate 2) have less features than other brands and 3) use 20 year old tech inside. Great vid showing them all off! I've been buying these since the Master Replicas days but skipped/sold most of the Hasbro ones over the years. Glad they're continuing them through Disney and the Hasbro Elites, though I'd love to see them update the tech. There's pros and cons to both Legacy and Force FX Elite, so I pick and choose between the two these days and double up on my favorites (Luke lightsabers, Vader). I don't mind the random Jedi lightsabers but I don't buy them. (Well, I'd buy Aayla Secura if they do one.)

Is there list of how much each one weighs? I wish that was included. I heard Qui Gon’s is heavy, but by how much compared to the others? And which one is the most comfortable and balanced in hand? Going to Disneyland in 3 days, Qui Gon looks the most comfortable and I love the contrast of black and Alloy. If they still made the Ep 1 obi wan I would have got that; strange they discontinued it, would have made a nice pair.

3 lightsabers I regret not getting when I had the chance were Darth Mauls' double bladed lightsaber, Count Dooku's and Asoka Tano's twin hilts from the Rebels show. I do not have any from Disney or Galaxy's Edge. I just don't like their chunkiness. A lightsaber should be an extension of your will, but those seem more like a 32 oz can of drink. But, I do have 4 (Yodas, Lukes ROTJ, Vaders ESB and the Graflex, from before the Reign of Dark Mickey. I wonder how they stack up against the newer wares these days.

It took me a decade to go back to Disneyland and I fell in love with Star Wars even more when I finally got the chance to be at Galaxy's Edge. On my 27th birthday, I bought Rey's Reforged Lightsaber because Rey is my favourite Star Wars character. What a dream come true experience.
I was kinda hoping for the ki adi mundi lightsaber because it allso matches with agen kolar and adi gaellia, but actually he is right the plo koon and luminara unduli lightsaber are the same.
Hopefully they will find a solution to the emitters on Luke's and Obi-Wan's lightsabers cuz it looks better with the actual thin emitter not wit the fat one

I pick up a light saber each time i go to disney now, vader’s was my first (and my personal fav of all the didney sabers) and now i have kenobi’s. Love them both but i find my self picking up vaders the most as u dont have to switch the emitter and make it look a little goofy lol vaders helmet and clone phase 2 next to each of them and its my favorite thing to look at lmao

Great fun review. Do you recommend the DISNEY blades or 3rd party? I got this as well... but no blades yet. I here there are training blades to display blades. Do we know what CAL's blade size is? Not sure if you’ve been already but I’d personally advise against getting the legacy Darksaber, there’s a much cheaper alternative for $40 which looks fantastic for the price and is overall just better. Obviously the LEDs aren’t as good and it’s made of plastic, but you can still pick it up at different spots around the park. It looks amazing, it’s just made of cheaper materials, but that doesn’t really matter when taking the price into consideration!! 👌👌

hahaha... you love it... that's all that matters! lol I take all my stickers off... If it happens to leave a small amount of residue, go to your local grocery store and pick up some "goo-be-gone." Can I ask you guys a question? I get it sounds funny but I’m being dead serious, watching these videos and shit, I love em, I feel like a kid again. But if I ever ordered one of these my wife and friends and her family and everyone in my life would call me a fucking nerd and make fun of me, I feel like the only place I’m “safe” is on TH-cam and such. I collect knives, microtech specifically, and I was so happy to have the whole line up of Star Wars microtechs. the whole set up is probably 2,000 and I got called a nerd and why would you spend that much this and that. Shit hurts man honestly, I miss being a kid. I miss playing with my action figures and not being called names as you would as an adult. I have friends, but none of them are into Star Wars or knives. I would like to meet with news just because it’s purple or just because the lore behind it in because it’s the only Saber that’s shaped like a blade it was made by Tarre Vizsla the first of the Mandalorian to also become a Jedi, it’s also shorter than other shares so it’s easier to use and also supposedly it tries to make some kind of some kind of subconscious connection with its user and that sounds pretty cool
@@FindingTheForce there’s other smaller details between the sabers but that’s one that’s most identifiable. ANH had the bubble strip instead of the circuit board strip. Had the rounded out grips that didn’t have screws in em and glass eye. The empire strikes back had square cornered grips with black screws, two red buttons no glass eye and circuit board strip. TFA had glass eye, circuit board strip that was clear with square cornered grips and chrome rivets. I’m a bit of a detail nerd

It took me a decade to go back to Disneyland and I fell in love with Star Wars even more when I finally got the chance to be at Galaxy's Edge. On my 27th birthday, I bought Rey's Reforged Lightsaber because Rey is my favourite Star Wars character. What a dream come true experience.
I was kinda hoping for the ki adi mundi lightsaber because it allso matches with agen kolar and adi gaellia, but actually he is right the plo koon and luminara unduli lightsaber are the same.
Hopefully they will find a solution to the emitters on Luke's and Obi-Wan's lightsabers cuz it looks better with the actual thin emitter not wit the fat one

I like this collection video as its my favorite type of videos to watch but it sucks and its kinda funny that disney released 4 new sabers this past week with the qui gon, count dooku and now they released the anakin/obi wan dueling set which sold out fast 😃
My first legacy lightsaber was the Temple Guard lightsaber (not that limited edition set).
I pick up a light saber each time i go to disney now, vader’s was my first (and my personal fav of all the didney sabers) and now i have kenobi’s. Love them both but i find my self picking up vaders the most as u dont have to switch the emitter and make it look a little goofy lol vaders helmet and clone phase 2 next to each of them and its my favorite thing to look at lmao
I just bought Vaders saber from crimson dawn it comes in tomorrow I know it’ll be hard to put it down

Great fun review. Do you recommend the DISNEY blades or 3rd party? I got this as well... but no blades yet. I here there are training blades to display blades. Do we know what CAL's blade size is? Also I took most of the warning ⚠️ decals off. There is residue 😢 I don't want to damage the finish. What do you recommend? Thanks for your help.

I have my eyes on definitely either the skywalker saber or the dark saber but they all look great I’m gonna have a hard time choosing stuff (cough no sequels cough, Leia’s saber looks cool though…)
Not sure if you’ve been already but I’d personally advise against getting the legacy Darksaber, there’s a much cheaper alternative for $40 which looks fantastic for the price and is overall just better. Obviously the LEDs aren’t as good and it’s made of plastic, but you can still pick it up at different spots around the park. It looks amazing, it’s just made of cheaper materials, but that doesn’t really matter when taking the price into consideration!! 👌👌

hahaha... you love it... that's all that matters! lol I take all my stickers off... If it happens to leave a small amount of residue, go to your local grocery store and pick up some "goo-be-gone." Can I ask you guys a question? I get it sounds funny but I’m being dead serious, watching these videos and shit, I love em, I feel like a kid again. But if I ever ordered one of these my wife and friends and her family and everyone in my life would call me a fucking nerd and make fun of me, I feel like the only place I’m “safe” is on TH-cam and such. I collect knives, microtech specifically, and I was so happy to have the whole line up of Star Wars microtechs. the whole set up is probably 2,000 and I got called a nerd and why would you spend that much this and that. Shit hurts man honestly, I miss being a kid. I miss playing with my action figures and not being called names as you would as an adult. I have friends, but none of them are into Star Wars or knives. I would like to meet with news just because it’s purple or just because the lore behind it in because it’s the only Saber that’s shaped like a blade it was made by Tarre Vizsla the first of the Mandalorian to also become a Jedi, it’s also shorter than other shares so it’s easier to use and also supposedly it tries to make some kind of some kind of subconscious connection with its user and that sounds pretty cool

@@FindingTheForce there’s other smaller details between the sabers but that’s one that’s most identifiable. ANH had the bubble strip instead of the circuit board strip. Had the rounded out grips that didn’t have screws in em and glass eye. The empire strikes back had square cornered grips with black screws, two red buttons no glass eye and circuit board strip. TFA had glass eye, circuit board strip that was clear with square cornered grips and chrome rivets. I’m a bit of a detail nerd
I like my savis workshop one but too bulky just the style is what I like plus I like how the Disney blades lock

Awesome collection! I know you can but pixel modified GE blades aftermarket, but imagine if Disney just standardized pixel blades.
