Thank you for sharing the information! I would like to add one small thing: if budget is a concern avoid April at all cost. We ignorantly booked April coinciding with a love festival weekend in Barcelona and April festival in Andalusia- hotel prices are skyrocketing to unbelievable level and the worst part of it is I read from internet that we won’t even be able to get around the city to go back to hotel to sleep till 2-3am. This is very scary. And beginning of April has Easter celebration that also lasts one whole week. So next time I m going to Spain, April is not in consideration. 😅
Hi Wendy, bear in mind Easter doesn't always fall in April, so we wouldn't rule out April at all. We are preparing a video where we talk about the importance of checking the calendar before planning your trip to Spain, that applies to any time of the year.
Hi Nelson, we haven't produced that video yet, our intention was to start publishing Portugal videos a long time ago but then came the pandemic. We will hopefully begin publishing Lisbon videos in December. As for the best time to go, it's not that different from Spain, but you will have to wait for a specific video on the topic.

Gabriel, it's early to tell, as a cold weather front can change everything. But you should expect cold temperatures and moderate rainfall. Bring warm clothes. Yesterday Madrid registered a minimum temperature of 4 degrees Celsius. Check the forecast a few days before your trip so you can have an accurate picture of what to expect. Hi Dean, thanks for your words. There are no trains running between Spain and Portugal (in actual fact, just the one from Vigo in the north of Spain to Porto). 2 weeks sounds like very little time for both countries. All the best!

@@sirobin171 we haven't got any videos on the topic, but, out of the blue, you can reach La Molina or Vall de Núria by train (the latter, using a cog railway).
It really depends on where you intend to go and what you intend to do. March is halfway between winter and spring, so have a look at what we have to say on those periods on the video.
