I've watched this vid several times because I love watching you swatch these awesome colors. One minute I want all of the interference colors (which I ordered), then the yellows and pinks, then the blues, then all the browns. Ultimately, shell pink and potters ink are both so versitile that I ordered and I am happily enjoying them thanks to you.

have you tried the windsor newton irredescent medium ? i just bought it and i bought granulation medium? they both are incredible!!!!! i'm also waiting from blick the only place in the usa i could find the schminke aqua fix which makes watercolors waterproof i can't wait to get it in my hands and paint brushes and paper lol i want it so i can put down a base alayer of color and

i like that handbook sketchbook for watercolors i filled a smaller one with florals mostly and then using the swatch stamps by waffle flower, if u don't have them i would get them they're incredible
what brush did you used here? 🥰 I think I'm decided I want to buy daniel smith tubes. I debated whether I want the Mijello Pure Pigment but then i got the mini-pans from a local seller but they don't flow :/ I want my paints to flow and DS does that beautifully

widsor newton has an iridescent medum for water colors also i bought a granulation medium from windsor newton both work beautifully, also bought a schminke medium for water colors called aqua fix making watercolors waterproof proof, i plan on using it for base colors , i have masking fluid but this sounds so much easier i got them all at blick the aqua fix is only an online purchase , the other two i got in the brick and mortar store, all were under 11$ usd ..... it definetly would save your paints i'm excited to have found all of them it took a lot of research , hope this helps everyone

So a belated thank you for that one as well! The color you talk about as Iridescent Copper, on my dot card the Iridescent Copper is this strong, shiny, red copper color. Is it maybe an interference color you have? I'm curious because I would love to try the mix you made with that one and the Indigo in another one of your videos! 😊😍
Thankyou that’s so lovely! it’s the barely there interference one. it’s so beautiful in mixes! you can get the Daniel Smith one or the turner artists watercolor one if it’s cheaper, they are pretty much identical! 🌷✨🌸🎨

Thankfully I have a friend with family in the US that will help me out! 😊 It looks absolutely stunning! If you like interference colors I recommend trying Kremer Pigment's. They are much more intense than the DS ones (at least when I swatch out the DS dot card), but they don't seem to have interference copper or gold. Thanks for taking the time to respond! You’re Welcome! if you got the Phantom Fire you probably don’t need the interference copper, it’s pretty much the same color, I just use the i copper because I use it so often if be buying a Phantom Fire every two months! {the Phantom Fire is like the Kremer pigments, a lot richer & a bit more peach} I really love the sound of the Kremer ones, I have some of their actual pigments but I’ve always heard so many good things about their watercolors they are definitely on my wishlist! 🎨✨🌸🌷

Their metallics are beautiful, I commented under one of Irits videos from this summer and described them (but not the interference ones). Let me know if you'd like me to find it and post it, and if you'd want me to guess which ones you might like, just based on your videos. 🙂 Their regular pigments are varied in how they behave, some are luscious and easy to rewet and others are chalky, the malachite is super pale and grainy, but perhaps you would love it precisely because of that. 🌻

I am in the process of amalgamating all my watercolors into one mega palette. I loooove Holbein's shell pink too by the way. You mentioned that you got your pastel box from Jackson's...Do you mean you bought the pastels from Jacksons or does he sell empty pastel boxes? I am looking for a box to use as a palette box. I should tell you, until I watched you, It never ocurred to me to choose my favourite colours, I just chose the colours that would be good for mixing or that had an interesting granulation effect. I was so wrapped up in the art theory that I had deprivedyself of the fun part, the love of colour. It is because of you that I look at things much differently now. I am also learning to be a colourist using coloured pencils so I now look at them the same way. Speaking of which, I am excited to see your pencil episodes. I am looking forward to them very much! It’d be great if the names of the colors would appear on the screen when you were doing them like you did in one of your videos. It kind of confusing sometimes when your talking wasn’t in sync with what you were doing. Also the sun and the shadows made it hard to see some colors. Thanks.
So sad to see so many supplies made from animals, I think your choice of colours is beautiful, just disappointed to think of all the suffering incurred, which means a lot of us would have to go against our Spiritual Beliefs to have . It would be lovely to see some cruelty free recommendations, your pallet is otherwise stunning 💗.
@@thog5893 you would have to do that yourself, it's fairly easy to get rabbit glue and add a pigment, but I think it would be wise to test it out and use a sealant. All rotting flesh releases toxic chemicals in the decomposition, which gives off gasses that can cause bones to disintegrate and collapse, especially in the nose and facial bones. The odour is nauseating, I'm sure you have seen autopsies when students faint, vomit and have to put petrolium jelly in the nostrils, seasickness tablets may help, but stematil injections will be the best route when vomiting is excessive. Maybe on an outside wall, but it attracts vermin...I would love to see any security footage, see who turns up. Happy crafting!
