Money should not be the things that prevents you from having a life with animals - Jackson Galaxy. I am so glad that more and more rescue organisations start to think this way. So a huge THANK YOU to Flatbush cats for the very important work you do.
Thank you for all your hard work here. I am a native New Yorker and the continuing rising costs forces me away for the better part of year. I cannot allow myself to rescue anymore because i am alone and disabled on a brutally low income. Your clinic may just be the spark for others to follow. Everyone of those cats is a sentient being and they all deserve a home and love.
You are another kitty saint. I so appreciate your help, your loving care, especially when you can't afford even for yourself. ❤ I can only donate $8 a month. On a fixed income myself @67. Wish I could do more.
I just want to say to @FlatbushCats you sir have a humongous penis. God bless you sir you are a REAL Man, a REAL Human; a Real Soul. (and ofc people that do the same absolutely brilliant good deeds).
I don't really have any words other than this is fucking amazing. I want to live in a world where animal rescues aren't needed, and this is exactly the kind of work that will make that a reality.
We have a non-profit spay/neuter clinic nearby in Ontario Canada. It's tied to the SPCA and a large pet store franchise sponsors it. It's very affordable to have your cat, dog, or even rabbit spayed/neutered there, and if you adopt a kitten or puppy from the SPCA the procedure is included in the (surprisingly low) adoption fee. I volunteered for this SPCA outlet, and I can tell that this makes a HUGE difference in the stray/feral cat population here. Not only is our shelter not overcrowded, we take in animals from shelters that are overcrowded. It's amazing how big of an impact affordable spay and neuter has on a community. We still have our kitten season, and a few feral communes dotted around, but it really does feel like we have a handle on it, and we aren't drowning in a never ending surge of stray cats. Hopefully this program has the same impact on the streets of New York.
Hi... do you have adresses around ottawa as I want to have the latest female I got from outside and it will cost more than 700cad .... with a discount !
We have a stray momma cat with six (or maybe seven) kittens in our backyard right now. She's semi-feral, and the kittens are old enough to be scattered much of the time. Catching them all is a struggle. The cost of having them properly treated and fostered is going to be near-crippling. It's worth it, but I can understand why so many can't afford to do it even when they wish they could.
I’m not sure where you’re located but I’d look into your local PETA clinic! Where I’m at we have mobile clinics that take place on different dates monthly that have incredibly decreased prices or even free procedures- for vaccinations & spay / neuter surgeries for feral cats!
An update: Calico mom cat "Hanabi" (Japanese for fireworks, because _Wow,_ she's fiery) and all six kittens (two gingers, two white balls, two grey tigers) trapped and now in the care of their fosters. Gonna have to sell my neighbor's house, but totally worth it!
This channel has been an incredibly helpful resource for educating my family and friends on why spay/neuter services are by far the most effective tool in helping reduce animal suffering. A lot of folks see spay/neuter services as almost a punishment for a pet. They see mating and reproduction as a natural part of these animal's lives and so believe that removing that capability is a cruelty. These videos work to build a bigger picture of the issue though. By showing just how BIG of a problem overpopulation is for cats (and dogs), it exemplifies how directly connected spay/neuter services are to increasing the quality of life for these street animals. The fewer cats there are, the better their lives are. Period. If you care about street animals, you should want them to live the best lives possible. That means looking at the big picture and realizing that our limited resources can only be spread so thin, before they no longer do any good. The less cats there are to take care of, the better the care is for each individual cat. Get your pets spayed and neutered folks, we simply don't have enough resources to go around.
That's really strange it's not a punishment frankly it's a punishment to not do it because they suffer incredibly and there's just not enough good homes if there were enough good homes we wouldn't have all these breeders because a lot of people go to breeder so they can just do whatever they want with an animal however they want they don't want to be accountable or responsible and that's why so many pets die on the street and in shelters because of non-reputable breeders also.
Thank you for all you do! So happy Jackson visited you guys! Someone asked me once, if I won the lottery, what would I do? I told them I would create a Gesundheit Institute for pets. You are are doing what I could only dream of. Bless you for being so humane. 🙏🏻💜🐾
MORE UPSTREAM: LANDLORDS are a major source of animal abandonment as well. The housing crisis MUST be alleviated as well. It breaks my heart that the ignorant people abandon their pets, both fixed and unfixed, when they can’t find a pet tolerant, non-gouging landlord. Loving what you are doing. I love my animals and I would do anything for them.. But unfortunately vet care is expensive and I completely understand why some people can't afford to just take a simple visit to the vet. I've been trying to get my dog spayed for months now and every place is charging between 500-700$. That's about HALF of my monthly rent. I've been trying weekly at our low cost but they're booked months out. So thank you, for helping these animals and struggling Americans wanting to help their pets.
@@ginmar8134One place wanted to charge me for vaccinations even though she's all up to date, their reasoning was "We don't accept records from other clinics"
"I don't want to live in a world where pet ownership is a privilege for the few." Amen. When you say, "Don't get a pet if you can't afford one," you're saying "Poor people don't get to have pets." And pets are so wonderful, so healing and uplifting and joyful, it should be for everyone.

In your 17 Aug YT video.intro at 0:33 I see a Tabby missing it's RH rear foot/paw just above it's ankle. I see that cat again in your 31 Aug intro video at 0:37. After 5 months of talking to my 'Billy Joe' whom was a member of a neighborhood colony whom was missing his LH rear foot/paw above his ankle I convinced him he needed to move in with me in 2017. Month's later Joe's Vet and I decided to completely remove that LH leg at hip joint because the stump would never heal properly where only skin and scab covered the leg bone. Joe get's along well without that leg. I sure feel sad for that Tabby in your video. I wish you could help that Tabby medically as well as finding it a home. Your newly open Clinic looks wonderful, Congratulations and keep up the good work.
This is exactly how it is. I want another cat or two and maybe more but I am still paying off the debt from my last bff of 13years. She passed during Covid lock down. Her not being here, I still feel guilt because I wish I had been able to get care for her sooner and maybe she would still be here? Since I will be paying for everything from her illness to her euthanasia and ashes, for the rest of my life, I am afraid to get another pet. If I can't help or have another animal I really don't feel I have much to live for. My whole family has always been advocates for all animals. My Aunt even had a sanctuary in North Carolina. I wish for Flatbush to spred to everywhere in our country. A society that doesn't care for their ill or animals will never be a sane and whole society.
It shocks me how many people just walk past these cats... especially the injured and sick ones. Everything in my being wants to help them and I would. I know it can be overwhelming, but if everyone did a little bit, there wouldn't BE this problem. I am so glad that I don't have a hardened heart to the point where I would walk past a sick/injured animal.
So happy to see this project continue and thrive. There's so many other benefits to spay / neuter that helps families, too. Hormones won't drive them to run and find other scents. There's not confusing times of heat that dominate behavior and actually drive people to be annoyed. Some people with that empathic thought of a cat wanting to have offspring is misled. In the wild around a quarter of all kittens surviving to mate again. And unlike humans they're having dozens or scores of kittens at least. It's not the same mentality. And these animals in our communities deserve guardians that can adapt that need of quality life over quantity survival. Thank you for this vet I hope it's design and purpose spread through all of New York and across the country. I will always aid how I can either with monetary or an oath to drive and help my neighbors do the same and keep their beloved charges for all their days.
Thank you so much for your hard work, for affordable vet clinic. I paid $930 for 2 cats to fix them. In my neighborhood in Brooklyn we have hundreds of cats on the street and multiplying.
I wish I could have all the cats in the world with me. I love the people who love cats. You are an angel who is helping purrrrrfect angels in disguise. Love you man. 😻😻😻

Thank you thank you thank you ..💛💛💛
I've been following your mission for years. I'm so happy this has been the outcome of I'm sure hundreds of successful TNR missions. I participate in my local townships TNR program and even as a smaller town funding isn't allotted to it properly from the town council. I couldn't even imagine how proud and happy you are to have to come to fruition.
I tell people about you, Will and equally, your incredible team, and the work you are doing to improve the quality of the lives of animals. Above and beyond what you are all doing with Flatbush Cats, for me, you are simple a shining example of the GOOD just a few committed people can do to make this world just a little better for us and the animals that yes, we SHARE this space with. I have so much respect for you, and perhaps most importantly, you have inspired me toward making a change in how I am choosing to move forward in life - working with, and for, the welfare animals. Thank you.

I wish for Flatbush to spred to everywhere in our country. A society that doesn't care for their ill or animals will never be a sane and whole society.
😢🙏🙏💗
What a great video! Donating has made me feel like I'm part of this amazing project. I'm so excited about what you guys are doing, love it! ❤
The new clinic looks beautiful! Congratulations Wil and everyone at Flatbush Cats. I am a monthly supporter and always will be! 👍🏻💕 🐈
Congratulations on the opening, this is a dream come true!
Greatest Gift EVER❣
THANK YOU!!!
😻You've brought Hope, Light & Love for my BIRTHDAY 🎉
Im from Germany but if I’m ever in New York again I will visit you! Already donated!
That's a lot of money. Those vets are very greedy. They do not want to help animals. They are only interested in making money.
Sweet Jesus...😮😮no wonder people can't afford vets in America!
I thought England was expensive! But that's ridiculous!!!
seeing the blind kitty walk the streets all alone, that was so awful.
I wish I could have all the cats in the world with me. I love the people who love cats. You are an angel who is helping purrrrrfect angels in disguise. Love you man. 😻😻😻
Congratulations to you on making this clinic happen and congratulations to all the cats who will benefit from the clinic!
Kochane Słoneczka. Serce mi pęka jak widzę bezdomne, niechciane Zwierzęta. Wspaniale że są ludzie którym leży na sercu Ich dobro i pomagają takim biedom. To przywraca wiarę w człowieka. W idealnym świecie nie byłoby bezpańskich, niechcianych Zwierząt. Ogromny szacunek dla Wszystkich którzy czynią Ich życie lepszym. Dużo zdrowia dla Was Wszystkich i moc uścisków dla Zwierzątek.❤❤❤❤❤
Blessings and success to Flatbush. You are what every community needs to save lives of beautiful animals that don't deserve to suffer. I sincerely hope that your mission is a seed that starts to scatter across our country to help all these animals have better lives and find forever homes. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Sharing kindness, love, care - little deposits at a time from the "high" and "lowly" - help make this world a brighter, more compassionate place to live in.
My hope is that groups across the country can use this as a model
BEAUTIFUL!! THANK YOU! BEAUTIFUL!! THANK YOU!! BEAUTIFUL!! THANK YOU!! Well said, and badly needed, affordable Vet for everyone, and most importantly, all the animals!! When we look after all animals better, wild and domesticated, this world will change 💟☮☯🕉
You are on your way! What a beautiful facility! Now you are getting world wide exposure. Bravo! I will send what I can.
How proud can you be, of a group of total strangers?!
I have followed you since the beginning and am in awe of your commitment. It is so easy to burn out with the numbers and the endless time and effort. What you have accomplished is epic. I am not sure how these things work, but is the clinic entirely funded by donations?
Love ALL that you and the team are doing. ALL ANIMALS ARE FROM THE ANGELIC REALM
My donation is on the way.
I've been following you guys since 2018 and I'm so, so proud of how far you've come as a company. You all deserve everything good that comes your way. Keep going!
Same here👍
Ahhh! I love Rosie Perez and Jackson Galaxy ❤️ I'm so glad they worked with you guys 😊
You and all who have helped and been a part of this continuous journey to help all animals out there is what I've always aspired to be apart of. I pray and thank God that people like all of you exist in this world to help all these precious beings. Bless you all and all your pure hearts. I can't thank you enough. You are making such an amazing, meaningful and impactful change that both our animals and us need in this world. 🙏💛 You all are truly amazing, thank you to all who support this journey..
500,000 cats but 8 million people. Each cat should have a home.
Thank you for what you all have done and will do in the future for these cats.
i hope this inspires other areas to do this also.
This video literary made me cry for joy. Flatbushcats are amazing. Thank you! I'll start to support you guys once I settled with my new job 🙏🏼💫💝❤️🐾

Ihr macht so eine tolle Arbeit!!❤
What an incredible achievement! It shows how much good people can do when they work together on a common goal. Thank you so much, FlatbushCats!
People hate other humans. Animal give unconditional love. Cats and dogs don't deserve to be on the street
What a wonderful project. I watched your videos for a while and this project was a long time coming. You must be so proud.
doing gods work! thanks
That is so great that you got some big names to help you with the clinic. That makes me so happy! Ozzie, Zeke, and Heidi
This is amazing. Will, you have built an incredible community.❤
Thanks for your work
I tell people about you, Will and equally, your incredible team, and the work you are doing to improve the quality of the lives of animals. Thank you.
Beautiful. Love their philosophy and kindness. We need spay neuter program for humans as well.
Amazing! Great work, good luck!
Everyone deserves help. Thank you for you kindness. And I'll keep donating
your organization is a blessing and may it be blessed
If you can't afford to donate, just watch the videos with any commercials that pop up. Give this channel the ad revenue.
I think they are paid pennies for the ads, but hopefully the pennies add up.
Awwh, I saw Teddy in there!
You guys are amazing! Thank you for rescuing and helping street cats and also for educating people on the importance of spay/neuter. I'm glad Jackson Galaxy is behind your project. Great job and I hope this helps alleviate the problem of overpopulation due to lack of inexpensive vet care in New York city. I'm hoping other cities will follow your lead.
You're amazing! One of the earlcats had the most glorious whiskers!
0:38 Mirepoix sighting!
Thank you Will and team.❤
