E da allora sono il mio gruppo preferito.

I have known it for years? It's been out here on TH-cam the whole time, and I've had an unofficial DVD made by a Cocteau Twins superfan since probably 1999 I think, that has all of this stuff on it, and more. But we have found even more stuff since then, too.
The Cocteau Twins have always been ahead of their time. Elizabeth Fraser's voice is so angelic and beautiful. Is she an angel? It's amazing, she sings all her own background vocals and composes / layers them all together so beautifully.!! 🤓 👌

As a semi-new CT fan, it's fascinating to me to see that, whatever gibberish or angelic tongue she was singing in, she new _exactly_ which words she was enunciating, because the lip sync and the sounds just match perfectly. True genius.

Much as I love this beautiful music for all it's swampy mysterious fog, I can't help laughing at the kids applying VST plug ins to simulate tape hiss, overload distortion, generation loss, circuit noise and all the other "Problems" faced by musicians in the 1980s before digital sound was available. Even then, the superstars (eg. Sting) who had access to the very latest tech began to criticise the clinical quality, the sterility of digital recording. Plus ça change ❤
