Got this and its useless, first its uses as weak area to lock by attching it self between the handle body and the srcew plate ball aduster to stay in place. therefore if you simple take the removable hicth ball srcew aduster out the unit will just slight out of its position. also the pin provided in the kit to secure on to the car towbar is very weak and easily be brocken with a steel tube as the pin is not solid all the way through.. wasted my money on this item for sure !
I've got one - if someone wanted to steal the trailer you could just buy another full hitch - they're only bolted on by 17 mm bolts and you can change the whole thing out - but if your going to that much trouble....

Unfortunately it's just a detterent, I know, I had to cut mine off all too easily through the mild metal body, in about 2 minutes.
I was looking at getting one of these do you recommend something else?
Did you cut through the sides?
It is what I would do in a pickle.
