For anyone that watches this video, you DO want to take off the piece that the author says is OK 'hanging there, and while you're at it, take off the right side tank cover panel also. This way you have an unobstructed view of what's going on, and you can actually get to the bottom air filter box clip if yours is being stubborn (like mine was). It only takes a minute or two to remove these things and you'll be much happier that you can see what you're doing. 😎

And the left hand side? Anybody know of any vids for the other side filter. I watched this and thought my 1200r only had one filter but it has 2 and the left hand filter is different from the right in the way it mounts to the box.
