OK so I just watched Thic whips and Kies Motor Sports install this same charger. This was the best video out of the three in my opinion. Especially the air vent duct rubber band. If I decide to buy this is use the link in this video. Thanks again Justin 👍🏽

The cup holders appear to be shifted back slightly and one of them is bigger and deeper, so it may solve my US-sized travel mug compatibility problem,in addition to providing wireless charging. I was ready to buy until I read the terms and conditions. Specifically, the clause that states, “You recognize and agree that you shall not be entitled to a refund for any purchase under any circumstances” is concerning. That might be okay for a $20 T-shirt, but I think it’s a little unreasonable for a $200 custom electronic car accessory.

Wireless chargers take up useful storage space and charge your phone super slowly and because of the energy loss cause heat. I run CarPlay with navigation on my MMI screen and keep my phone on a phone holder with spotify so I can easily change songs. With a wireless charger I only have navi on my MMI screen. Plus I have a USB-C fast-charger for my cigarette outlet. For me, I don't understand the craze of manufacturers installing wireless chargers. I want to be plugged in for USB-C fast charging and be able to have navi on my MMI screen and music/spotify on my phone for easy changing. Seems more of a gimmick than anything IMO. I still admire the creativity of this product though Justin.
How satisfied are you with the charger an or quality of the product over all? You have had this for some time now an just curious how it's been. I like the sliding door for the cup holders. But this would real be a convenience. Thanks

No, you wont be able to use the cover with this. The charging unit itself sits where the cover would normally slide into EDIT: i just realized that on some F30’s the cover is a separate accessory, I’ll ask and confirm if it will still fit
Installed mine yesterday. Love this wireless charging fits iphone13 pro max with a case. The seperate piece which is the cup holder lid doesn’t fit, you can get it to rest on top of it and not move around but it’s not flush. My other gripe with this is I wish they left some holes on the driver side to be able to swap over the leather piece by the driver side on to the new trim. Other than that great product. Looks oem installed.

Go for swimming with your phone or just get caught in the rain, then try to charge it with a cable.

For the alcantera center piece I found that sanding the edge of the alcantera with some 180 grit thins up the fibers just enough to get it to snap in!
