Kelly, I know you did this three years ago. I still do not have the hang of copec markers. As a watercolorest, markers are so different. Perhaps, my hand is too heavy as my shading is terrible using the markers. I like the idea of not having to go through the slough of setting up my watercolor station. I’ll keep at it. I have been told, you are the best on TH-cam in using the media you use. I think soooo...thanks for sharing.
I have no idea who said that about me but how incredibly kind. Please tell them thank you. Now, I am also heavy handed when coloring. I always put down the most of the first color I start with which is why I start with my lightest color. It helps me to have color already on my paper when I get to the darkest color. Maybe try that?
Absolutely beautiful coloring! At first I was confused by the colors by her feet, then saw it was shadows of her. I would never thought to do that! Love the card but missed story time!
What a beautiful card! I always learn so much from you. Im afraid of watercolor. I did try it but it feels very foreign, which I realize it will until I've done it quite a few times. I will be re watching this many more times.
I just checked all my colors and I only have 10 of the ones you used. the main thing I want to copy is the skin and hair. which did you use on the skin and hair? thanks so much for letting me know, Im new to copics and havent built up my collection. it would be nice if there was a place you could trade your doubles!
+Cynthia Farmer's If you watch the video just pause right before the skin and hair it'll tell you which ones I used. I wait until someone has them on sale to buy a lot otherwise I just pick up one or two with every order. I'm still a far cry from owning all of them. :)
