10:45, In Stolas's defence, Stella screaming & screeching her head off is kind of her default setting, after 18 years of it, he's probably gotten pretty good at just tuning her out, & there's a very strong chance he just genuinely wasn't listening when she was on the phone with Striker at the table, & Octaviva had headphones in.
Yeah and he was only hearing Stella, not knowing who was on the other line. Her screaming wanting to finish him wasn't news...which is sad
Elijah (not-so-average-fangirl is her channel) has stated that brandon rogers watches her reactions, and that he told her, teasingly, that she cries too much. So, yes, some do watch reactions!

Yeah Blitz tends to change the way he narrates events to his convenience. For example, last time he told Moxxie Stolas was giving him the option not to go see him in Full Moon and he took thr chance to "rest from his feathered a$$", whilst he tells Stolas he "skipped because he was busy". As understandable as it may be, he's still being shitty just like Verosika said, and expecting sympathy when he doesn't deserve it...but now he knows and he will start to change, hopefully

I absolutely LOVED this episode. The content, the small details, the animation, Stolas’ kick-ass song, just EVERYTHING was so well executed.
It’s such a painful but realistic detail that Blitz still hasn’t really apologized to Stolas yet. “I felt like maybe you actually needed one,” still implies that Stolas isn’t “owed” one and at no point did he actually say the words “I’m sorry.” Just that Stolas was the only person he wanted to say it to.
Him apologizing to Verosika was perfect, because the only stakes are being vulnerable for a moment and admitting that what he did to her was fucked up. Which is a huge step for him but not as huge as apologizing to Stolas will be.
I was also really encouraged by the part in Stolas' song where he says "Maybe there's something here for us to glean, for you to teach and me to try to learn."
Blitz has some legitimate criticisms of Stolas’ behavior that he refuses to explain because it would require him to admit that he cares enough to have been hurt by it.
I think that part of the journey that Blitz is now on will help him unpack his feelings in a way that will give him the words and allow himself the vulnerability to explain to Stolas the ways in which his behavior hurt Blitz.
They both have an opportunity to grow and learn from this experience separately and become better people. That’s the only way they’ll be able to come back together later, finally able to communicate their feelings, desires, and needs while also being on the same page. To be even better together than they were apart.

Progress!!!! THIS IS PROGRESS, PEOPLE!!!! Both Blitz and Stolas need time apart to reflect and heal and figure things out for themselves and what they really want before they can try to be with each other again.

because like. the circus showed us that when he does listen to stella, she’s berating and abusing him and reminding him of everything he hates. it makes SO much more sense now that at the end of harvest moon, stolas deadass didn’t hear her because *he stopped listening* he didn’t wanna hear her shit anymore so he just stopped paying attention to her, especially when she’s screaming. it was his way of keeping the peace, just avoiding even acknowledging her altogether. God this fucking show is so good.

LET ME BELIEVE HIM AND BLITZØ WERE A THING
In addition to when Blitz and Robo Fizz fell over Wally's cart in LooLoo Land in 1x2, from the beginning and end of episode 1x4, it seems like Blitz and Wally knew each other on some personal level- Blitz took joy out of destroying a TV when Wally's commercial aired, and Wally called Blitz by "Blitzo", so they seem to have some kind of beef with each other. I believe Wally's there not just to make some money, but because he and Blitz crossed too.
This was a top ep for me too! I love sassy Stolas in the beginning and cute drunk Stolas at the end. Him falling into Blitzø’s arms and Blitzø holding him for a little while- the words were argumentative but the body language was telling a different story 🤗 Bryce’s voice was amazing in the song, I kinda wish they put him more up front in the balance to hear him more, only cuz it’s so powerful, but being true to the 90s rock style it was great. Viv’s writing here was stellar- the fan service bits, and the cutaway gag of Stolas just wanting cake? 😄 All in all I’m so glad they gave us this Halloween ep now cuz it was the relief I needed after Full Moon! I know I can survive until the next Halloween ep in October… Brandon says it’s gonna be the greatest HB ep ever!!! 👻

Wally was the one bringing Fizz his birthday cake back in the day and Blitzo shoved him leading to everything
I dont think that was him since in MMMSS he was a child and Fizz's birthday seemed not too long after that.
Edit: His horns in MMMSS were also identical to his adult self but not the guy at Fizz's birthday so theyre most likely not even the same person.
Verosika kind of did sound different, but she was probably just drunk on Beelzejuice. She returns to her usual voice when she and Blitz talk to each other.
The reaction was great and this is one of my favorite episodes, didn’t think it would be at first because I didn’t understand the direction but was amazingly written!
I did hear a short will be for every month there’s not a full episode, so July, August and September should get a short

Yes I loved this episode! One of my favorites of the whole series! The arguing at the beginning, traveling around earth and other rings by using Blitz’s new crystal, meeting older characters, what a freaking party with 3 begging songs! This has to be Bryce’s best performance yet!!! I need a full music video of Verosika songs 🔥I can’t wait to see her again with and with more songs 💕

There's no real need for Blitz to apologize for Brennon Ragers and his agent as he's not the one that killed them. He owes nothing to Martha, The Cherubs, and The Agents both the hundreds that are dead the two that are alive
I LOVED this episode. The opening scene also made me cringe with how uncomfortably real It felt (I did laugh thinking of Sir Pentious when Stolas said "do sex" though lol) It was great to see Verosika again, she had a much needed talk to Blitzø and helped him despite their past. I thought she might've just kicked him out but so glad she didn't. Of course the songs were AMAZING. Definitely my new favourite song (All to you), the harmonies were just perfect, very soft rock ballad and I LOVE. The wait will be tough now though! Great video! Sorry for the essay lol
I might be the straw man, and this ISNT to dismiss Stolas’ pain, but I still feel he hasn’t truly understood his screw-ups in the relationships.
He was taking steps, like breaking the deal so Blitzo could have his own free will, but that was kind of it. Stolas didn’t explicitly apologize for how condescending he was to Blitzo, which would explain the latter thought so low of the Prince, still hasn’t shown that he considers others feelings, and realize that no, real romances are NOT rom-coms. That he wants to be “wanted” by someone raises some red flags for me. If he wants to be wanted, why not remember his daughter wants him to be there and to talk to her?
Even if Stolas gets together with that Incubus at the end, there’s no guarantee he’ll realize those mistakes he made and might repeat them. Blitzo is starting to take a hard look at himself, which is VERY much needed, but what about Stolas?
Oh, I'm pretty sure, he will have his much needed wake up call from Octavia... That he fucking should learn to listen people.
I think that the reason it hasn’t been properly addressed yet is because Blitz isn’t ready to admit that he cares enough to have been actually hurt by Stolas’ behavior. So he hurls insults and accusations that touch on the topic instead of opening up and giving Stolas any of the very valid examples that he has.

Stolas has been wanting to understand Blitz since Ozzie’s, but it seems like he really thought the Asmodean Crystal was going to be a catch-all solution for everything. That its presentation as a grand romantic gesture would be all that was needed to break through Blitz’s emotional walls, prove his love, and launch them straight into“happily ever after”.
At no point have I seen him give Blitz any reasons “why” he loves him. And I think that moment at the party when Blitz said “How could anyone care for an imp… me” was showing us something specific on purpose.
Stolas responds by pointing to the crowd as proof that people care and then starts talking about how he just wants to be wanted. Not by Blitz. Just “someone’s someone”. He’s still caught up in his own feelings and is oblivious to what the person right next to him is actually saying and what they actually need from him. Just like he’s been shown to do multiple times with Olivia.
I’m definitely expecting Stolas to at least get called-out by the end of this season 🙏🏼
Most of the people that Blitz handed fake apologies to didn't deserve it. The two random people at the party, Verosika and Stolas deserved an apology. The Hot Bouncer lowkey but it wasn't that terrible
The whole first dialogue is honestly painful to hear
The fact Blitz is aware of his issues and self-hatred and still chooses to be a jerk and cause harm (there's enough proof throughout the episodes that he does do things on purpose) is so incredibly frustrating! We want him to be happy but he chooses to keep facepalming the wall 😔
I've done some internet detective work and discovered the the date from Fullmoon was in September 2023, and this episode it happening on Halloween. That makes a whole month that Blitz and Stolas have been broken up for.

- Dennis is refernce to s1e8 (Christ on a stick you would be a Dennis, get the fuck away from me! I'm not fucking a Dennis tonight!)
- Verosika has a crossed-out Blitzo tattoo on her right arm
- the burned a real Blitzo plushie (it's edited in, but dang)
- Stolas looked at Blitzo when he was asked for a date and Blitzo made the hand gesture; so actually Blitzo allowed Stolas the dance (not the kissing tho)
- in the crowd there was a guy with Beetlejuice costume... guess who played Beetlejuice and wasn't in the episode (but mentioned anyway)
