Odyssey’s was the GOAT, it took literally every mechanic in the game, and ended with the first CAPture.
I like when Final Levels are chill but I also like when they're super duper hard ^^

@@BetterThanUTTPStar festival always felt amazing to me, a soft and magical ending to one of the most magical games of them all
I completed Super Mario Galaxy 2 about a year ago. I died over 130 times to complete the Perfect Run and I feel very proud of myself for beating it
And to top that off, I actually beat champions road in super Mario 3D world + bowsers fury (and to top THAT ON *THAT* I 100%-ed bowsers fury)

I remember completing all the Super Mario World levels, and the last one was definitely the best. It was very nostalgic just watching that section. Really gave me the chills
man the star festival makes me cry every time, so much memories, best game I've ever played
I like when games don't focus on the final levels being too hard, just a nice place to relax and reward you

I remember unlocking Special 8-👑 back when I was a kid, I spent days of finding those Star Coins and it was worth it. Now my 100% save is unfortunately gone but I'll eventually try to 100% clear it again

Star Festival and the end of Darker Side when Cappy is being very emptional really brings a tear to my eye
It feels so weird that 3D Land came out 1yr after Galaxy 2...
Thats why nintendo reused assets from galaxy for 3d land, just like odyssey was based off 3d world
For me.. the hardest of all of these was champions road in 3d world. even harder then the perfect run if you can believe it. That boost panel section was always really hard. Also damn the mario odyssey final moon.. when you’re climbing up the spire everything about that moment the music, the atmosphere, the feeling ugh.

Its hard. But I managed to beat it with mario and with no powerups. Its not that bad
I played perfect literally 30 minutes ago, it's way harder than champions road, I've beaten champions road no power ups like 20-30 times and I've beaten perfect run 2 times

Yea I remember super Mario world secret levels man. All I can say is, it was weird to see as a kid, but a nostalgic moment as a teen, but a never forgotten moment for a bunch of adults

Tips for galaxy 2. If you die at the beginning the cycles work out much better for the first part for the 4th part of you back flip you won’t get hit by the red rings (if you don’t make it with 3 clouds). These are some of the strats we do in speedrunning.
The Mario Maker 2 one is basically just 1-1 if Little Timmy made it

And 9-4 (which started the Thank You trend)

@@MaorKoren6405 you don't have to beat it 8 times without warps(using warps is fine), the no warp requirement is for world 9.
I've just noticed that the Champions Road music is the same as the one from cloudtop cruise
the secret final level of new super mario bros 2 is my favorite, the dry bowser boss fight will always live rent free in my head for how epic it was

3d land was such a fun challenge for young me i remember discovering it myself and being proud of myself when i completed it first try

Mario galaxy 2 odyssey and mario 3d land and world: peace was never an option
I always loved "Grand Finale Galaxy" in galaxy, I just wished they scattered the purple coins around a bit more.
That sm odyssey final level is crazy. Its one year since i have the game and I still cant finish that course.

Idk if this counts as a Mario game but, Mario + rabbids kingdom battle has 1 secret level in all 4 worlds, but I think you have to beat the game first, and I have. Also each on has crates, I think in world 4, there is 2 silver crates and one bronze
For me, the hardest one was Champion's Road from Super Mario 3d World. I had to look up a video here on TH-cam JUST to ready myself for the challenge so I could beat it the first time around.

super mario bros the lost levels had a whole set of secret worlds you could find
Champion’s Road is the hardest level in Mario for me. The beat block section and especially the boost panel section are harder than anything else imo. Also I was too lazy to get the cat suit/raccoon suit every time, so I had to beat it with no power ups. The Perfect Run is a close second, but since in playthroughs it comes right after The Ultimate Test, some of the challenge is taken away as you already beat it.
This is making me want to play some Super Mario!

MARIO WORLD!? THAT LEVEL LOOKS SO COOL WHAT!? WHEN HOW WHY?! ITS SO COOL!
Basically, when you beat the last level in the special world (the world after clearing all courses in star world) you unlock an autumn theme for the whole game. It replaces some enemies with mario masks and pumpkins.
The Perfect Run will always have a special place in my heart.

Mario last level is always a big wave off and a thank you for playing either being a show of all what you've done or the ultimate challlenge to test your abilities.
With kirby the true final boss always resides inside the true arena and will make you suffer through and through and kirby must purge for all the evil soul of whatever had the unfortunate luck to face kirby

I remember when I first beat smo (Darker side) and I was super happy, seeing this was nostalgic for me now that my savefile is 100% with all the moons, costumes, decorations for the oddysey...
Getting all costumes was an hell for me but I figured out that the fastest way to obtain coins was the Luigi minigame

So i got super mario galaxy 2 as a present, when i was 4 years old
Its my favorite game from mario, i dont think any other one is better.
From the other side, as a Kid i went crazy finding all green stars, until i had the perfect run.
I finally took the courage to beat it last year (i was 15yo) seems a bit exaggerate but i was shaking literally, my heart pumped, think I almost cried for 100% the game that was my total childhood.
Watching the Super Mario Galaxy 2 bit gave me anxiety and PTSD

I cannot forgive them calling it the "grand finale" galaxy. It takes place in the world of Mario where things usually are and peach's castle and shit. It could have been named the super mario galaxy. It would have tied in so well.

Tubular really should have been the final level for super mario world, it was the most difficult out of the special world.
The one is 3D Land is too easy. That's why they made Champions Road a nightmare
