You just sound a bit like you are lacking in confidence, I don't know is that true. Or more like you seem to over-analyse things, still no worries I think this was a really nice guide. And you definitely are a humble person, hope your channel grows! Do more efficiency-scape videos, be it bossing or skilling or even progression order for account. I know a lot of guides are out there, but many content creators/scapers have their own methods and it's always nice to see new kind of methods. Like for example I couldn't do 3t fishing at all really, but when I heard the method being described in a new fashion I managed to do it perfectly after hour or two. Also the new methods/habits/ways of executing the method with the same results can give a nice change to skilling. Doesn't feel too repetitive when you switch things up every now and then. Keep it up, keep it real; thank you again. 😁

cool guide actually, if you do want any feedback, try to seperate guides from misc things you talk about, you can even make diff vids like progress etc for that. The actual guide was around 5mins~ the rest was 11. But still really nice man

Wow I can't believe I've been hunting chins the noobie way for so long. Great guide though! This took me like 30 minutes to get down. Side note to anyone learning: don't be dumb like me and only bring 5 traps. Having a 6th trap in your inventory is actually important because you can click it much faster than waiting for the one you pick up to appear in your inventory. Especially important if you have high ping. That was probably obvious but I was only using 5 for the longest time and struggling 🤣
So instead of (1, 2, 123) we could instead do it every 3 ticks. You use a metronome and then tell people to stop using a metronome. the second 2 happens on the 3rd tick since the game only ever completes an action every tick. So we could instead go (1, 2, 3). This under complicates things and makes sense.
I did some testing in both areas actually. I preferred Feldip. The specific spot that i am in in this video is the best i think, although either spot is fine. Its not a huge difference (5-10k xp an hr difference if i remember correctly).

you know, I'm not sure! I suppose you can bait the traps to prevent them from failing but no one does that apparently. I'm sure its not worth it :D The guam tar isnt actually being used on the traps so doesn't effect the chins directly.
@@mandruesretiredchannel4775 yeah the tar n guam is just used to trick the game tick into skipping one tick right, since setting a trap is 4 an the tar n guam is 3. It's a difficult method. While it's fewer clicks, they're much more precise, and it involves going back and forth between your inventory and the game screen quickly and accurately. Not advised on fixed mode, unless you have multiple mouse cursors...
Hey man, I used to do this (like a year ago) and wanted to get into it again. I can manage to place em in a one tick at first. But i can't seem to reset a succesful trap in one tick. It just drops a box on the floor. And also, I always pick up/reset a trap by walking above it and then resetting. Instead of resetting it from the tile next to it?
Make sure if you are using runelite you go to the menu entry swapper setting and turn "reset" off. Let me know if this was the problem otherwise I can help troubleshoot further :)

There is but I wouldn't recommend it. I use the metronome for multiple things in osrs (mainly 1tic prayer flicking) , so getting used to using it here can be helpful. The metronome would also be harder to count along with if you have it only count once every three tics. If you want to try this though, just open up the metronome settings and change "tic count" from 1 to 3.
For the manipulation method, it requires only 1 clean herb, the rest you have in your inventory are grimy. If they’re not grimy, and you have more than 1 clean herb of the same type in your inventory, it’ll prompt the make all option. You only want 1 clean at a time. If you mess up & make tar, either equip or drop it, clean a grimy herb, & start over. Hope this helps.
Pretty sure this doesn't work anymore. I have no idea how you are walking up to the boxes and instantly resetting them. Whenever I do this it will not instantly place them without another use of guam + tar.
The method still works. It is just very precise, so if you're off slightly it will not work. That's why I find the metronome so useful for it. You've gotta click faster than you think. Chances are you're clicking too slow or don't have the proper rhythm.
If I have more than one trap in my inventory, when I lay a trap after using the tar on a guam, I set up one trap correctly but another one is automatically dropped. Do you know why?
I'm so glad I found this comment, I've watched numerous guides on this method. I've been trying to do this for days and had thought that I was simply incapable of doing it. I thought that maybe my clicking speed was simply not fast enough. The method I ended up doing which took a click off was to click on the trap to reset it and then herb tar. Will definitely be giving this another go now.
@@mandruesretiredchannel4775 I've worked out the tap times for the shaking and empty box traps. The only thing thats impossible for me to do is right click fallen traps. But it is, mostly, possible. The guide helped heaps so thank you for the info
3:49 is also good because I mess up the initial guam tar and then restart the process. I would also like to add that you need decent ping, because if you are lagging this WILL NOT work.
Hey buddy for some reason I can't seem to get this combo down even once yet. I just lay the tap and it doesn't 1 tick set. Could i be setting it to quickly? 3t, run, click trap, click trap in inv. I don't know- i'm starting to get a little frustrated hahaha

What kind of XP rates would I expect from this at 86? I have been getting 140-145 with standard 3t.

This is sweet. I wish i had a bettet way to get swamp tar im a lower lvl iron man think the best way i can get it is from pickin it myself in lumby..
Use teak/mahog logs and a knife. Does the same thing as swamp tar and Guam
Make sure to only bring 1 log at a time

Is this possible on mobile? I can do the standard herb tar method, but cant seem to get the 1 tick cyle going
I wouldn't recommend trying this on mobile. 1 ticking requires fast right clicks which I don't believe would be worth while on mobile.

Are you using the metronome? Its pretty fast clicks and they have to be exact. I'd suggest re-watching from 2:32 in the video and studying that part.
