Royal Icing Recipe for Brush Embroidery Cake - Decorando con GLASA REAL by Cakes StepbyStep

Hi! In this tutorial I show how to make #brushembroidery with #royalicing on a cake.
RECIPE:
1 tablespoon of lemon juice;
4,50 oz pasteurized egg whites;
28 oz of powdered sugar
You can divide the recipe in 2 or 4. For small amounts add only a few drops of lemon juice.

i'm wondering that if instead of fondont i were to use buttercream and kept it in the fridge for a while before trying this embroydery technique would it still work?

Yes, it will work with a stiffer buttercream as long as the cake is chilled and smooth. Using a VIVA Paper Towel and a Fondant smoother on the buttercream is a great trick to get the Fondant look. A not-all-butter frosting will help with the stiffness.
