When fishing in the Hobota Swamp, I fished for catfish, never thought of trying Crappie or Bass. I loved the tabby catfish and blue catfish. I really like watching you guys fishing in the Swamp, it brings back fond memories of when I was able to get out there and fish....❤

The only thing slightly better thing then a Crappie fillet is a Walleye fillet. You just don't know. I lived in Arkansas for 9yrs but Iowa Walleye steal the show. My #1 and 2 fish to eat. 👍👍 Awrsome slabs. ♥️♥️♥️

I caught a Crappie a couple of days ago a 14.5 inch, that weighed 2.5 lbs. I thought it was a bass when hooked it. My husband says it was a trophy fish. It was awesome!
My last camment.----------- Seems most are unread. I watch and listen and have a good memory. Told you of homemade dipping sauce many times and yet you go with store bought. You would be amazed at the taste with taste with crappie or any white fish.

I noticed that cypress stayed home for this trip. I’m sure falling was traumatic. I fell in with my daughter this summer and she still reminds me of it. She’s just turned 2

I wanted to get out so bad this morning but we had some 14mph winds move in which made it nearly impossible to register a hit by cork fishing. Hopefully tomorrow will prove to be much better.

Always nice to catch a mess of crappie to put in the freezer. For their size they're a blast on light tackle. Definitely a good day fishing there.
