"Why is everybody driving tiny cars?" Italy. Watching unsuspecting tourists trying to navigate the historic streets of Florence in modern SUVs is a good chuckle; or an unending nightmare, depending on your point of view.
Forget Florence, seeing modern cars navigating Venice is far more hilarious. You'll either get middle aged Brits blocking traffic, or Japanese street racers knocking parked cars into the water with their drifting.
Alternate Universe Italian Cecil: "WHY ARE THE CARS SO HUGE IN THIS AMERICAN MOVIE!?" Also I was gonna make a Clock Tower reference but you did it for me.
That bongo track must be in some kind of stock library for music and sound effects because I swear I've heard it in a dozen other 60s/70s movies before.
I just found out Chuck Norris is in a new movie this year called " Agent Recon" That's not the only awesome thing about this movie, it also Co-stars the Beast Master himself, Marc Singer, If that is not a sign to do Invasion USA this year, I don't know what is, so you better do it. Oh, and a video on the Beast Master too, and a video on the top ten hottest late night cinemax actresses of all-time, and Nikki Fritz better be number one.
"Driving the truck into bone city." I don't remember Burgess Meredith using that line in "Grumpy Old Men". Great job as always putting this video together, Cecil. I actually saw this film not too long ago and yes, the title is clearly misleading. So often, I try to approach a giallo film from an Agatha Christie perspective, but I always end up lost, confused or wondering how people are having childhood flashbacks to events where they weren't even there.
That Gene Shallot joke didn't go unnoticed (it probably says too much about me that I know who he is). And I have to say the title would fit much better if the film was a comedy with Italian version of the Keystone Cops.
There was a lot of booze in various glass jars throughout the film. I had to be careful because they were often in scenes with photos of nude ladies on the wall and I worked to crop them out.
"What's wrong with tiny car parket in the middle of small streets?" It's called Italy. Not just a stereotype this time around, I grew up there and I can confirm the movie is very accurate in this regard.
I've watched this film recently and a spate of other Euro horror/thrillers lately and I have to say they are brilliant compared to the majority of this modern crap. I sound like a grumpy old man but it's true.
04:55 "Look at this lettuce. LOOK AT IT! Then he impersonates a rabbit." Had me in stitches. Surreal movie surreal comments. GoodBadFlicks at it's finest.

05:31 "when and why did this style of dress did go out of fashion" Summer dresses are still a thing. But overall it got replaced by yoga pants. Massive upgrade.
Thanks for showing me yet another movie that I had no idea existed! Haha “it’s a whacky movie where pretty women in tiny cars get murdered by a prototype scissor man” 👌🏽😂
Thank you Cecil, this was fun! Re tiny cars - in my town there's a contractor, a great big Paul Bunyan-looking dude, and his company car is...a SmartCar. Pretty sure he drives it with his feet like Fred Flintstone. 😀
Look, I get that pretty much everything on this channel has a weird plot. But... Just... What? Seriously, what the heck? Why would somebody make this movie? Why all of how.. just, like, What? I can't even form useful followup questions. Just, What?
The scariest thing about this movie is thinking about having to get in and out of those tiny cars on a regular basis. My back and knees would do me in faster than any random dude(s?) with scissors. Also enjoy all the 'Suspiria' comments!
I don't think that's the type of scissoring these ladies wanted. 😉😂🤣 But seriously, found it on T to the ubi, so I'll be able to check it out myself. Thank you for the video, enjoyed it.
I have one recorded right now that I have to edit. Should be out in a few weeks. After that I have a really long one that I'm hoping to have out before the end of July. (I have most of my info, I just need to do one more interview and then write/edit/etc)
Europeans have tiny cars because petrol is much more expensive. I don't know why they make dresses out of Muppets or couch material. (Agree with your dress question).
Wrong, this movie was set in 70's at the time when petrol is cheap. reason why European car is small because their road small. Not until 90's when car started to become bigger, so they built a new road. Problem is old town and city still got small road
I will be repeating this till it actually happens: Netlix, HBO or Amazon. THIS needs to be on your streaming service! I would love a show where we get a summary and exploring a the show a Good Bad Flick of the finest selection!!! Also, we used to go on vacation in one of those tiny cars!! All the way to South of France....4 people in a Renault 5! PS: I am not having a really good time right now. GBF is one the few things that makes me laugh ...
When I still kid, my family of 6 is inside perodua kancil (daihatsu mira). Imagine in third world countries still doing that till this day Because I'm the youngest, I sit in front with my mom. My dad drive that small car, and my 2 older brother and older sister sit at passenger seat.
As an Italian, i'm here to see all the comments about the correctly sized cars.
Considering when this movie was made and it being set in italy, the cars aren't unusually small.
Yeah, Italy has small streets and smaller cars. The inverse is...messy.
Yeah, the willful ignorance in this video is very hard to take. "lol me yank me dumb"
Quite right.
@@donniedeville5102I think it's just an observation. The cars are tiny. It might make sense for them to be that size, but they are indeed small.
"Why is everybody driving tiny cars?" Italy.
Watching unsuspecting tourists trying to navigate the historic streets of Florence in modern SUVs is a good chuckle; or an unending nightmare, depending on your point of view.
Plus the original 500 is a sweet little car and pice of automotive history.
"Why is everybody speaking non-american?"
Forget Florence, seeing modern cars navigating Venice is far more hilarious. You'll either get middle aged Brits blocking traffic, or Japanese street racers knocking parked cars into the water with their drifting.
modern american SUVs are way too big in general, let alone when they're in Florence
Tiny cars and 14 hours dinner sessions pretty much sums up my last experience in Italy. Actually we had a great time but eating out became exhausting.
lol good to know it was realistic then!
As long as you made it out without HPV...

The I'll bite your legs off" sounds like something John Cleese said in a Monty Phython film.
It is.
It's Italy! Everyone drives tiny cars!
🤣🤣🤣

"the bongo killer is back"--
(and so is Hilda)
I also have always enjoyed wearing my jacket made out of puppet skin lol
Only the finest
I don't know how anyone could notice the jacket over those absolutely amazing boots.
What's funny is that Jim Henson made the original Kermit using his mother's old coat. So this very much a case of "the floor is made of floor".

Giallos often have a mystery that doesn't make sense until the last 5 minutes.
@@GoodBadFlicks Agreed.

hehehehe ^^
I was thinking Phil Spector.
All the trappings? I didn't see a single bottle of J&B in this! If not for the cars I would doubt it was even made in Italy in the '70s.
There was a lot of booze in various glass jars throughout the film. I had to be careful because they were often in scenes with photos of nude ladies on the wall and I worked to crop them out.
“Women go missing from here all the time” - must be a member of the local tourism board.
You've just shown me our 'bad' movie for Thursday "Pub and bad movie night." Thanks!
You are very welcome! Enjoy!
"What's wrong with tiny car parket in the middle of small streets?"

The muppet joke reminds me of the sketch on The State about catching muppets to eat.
That's terrible eating run over muppet!
I'm Italian and I confirm that we usually drive small cars
So many great punches in this one, Cecil! Loved it!
Glad you enjoyed it!
12:14 The Killer wore glasses, but noone in the movie wears glasses. Setting up a sequel?
Look at this lettuce. LOOK AT IT! 😂
Tiny cars were standard in Italy in the 70's. Only America had land yachts and had the space to sail them.
They still are in some parts of Italy, particularly the more historic cities with small roads and/or in semi-rural areas.
8:20 We just gonna ignore the fact that he stole Homestar Runner's shirt??
Young Gene Shallot.
Killing me...

Gosh, another comedy gold!!
Steal my sunshine is a banger! How dare you, sir!
With that lead in, I thought it'd be something by Train instead.
It's been in my head since this video played it.
Now I have to be afraid of bongos? Weren’t banjos enough?

What an unexpected prequel to the Clock Tower series.
You have to agree, that bongo music is one killer track 👌
3:49 All those tiny cars! I Flooded my basement with excitement
The Bongo Killer. That sounds like a pitch....Is that Donald Sutherland playing Edmond? Sure looks like him
Len didn’t deserve that, probably
Tell me about the Giallos, George
"I need one of those" I had such a delayed laughing fit I thought I was going to die.🤣
You a genius to make sense of this film. I was completely lost. How many times did you watch it?
Probably about 4-5 times overall.
I need to know more about Zombi Fonzi
I love when you cover Italian horror. Please do a mini series of this! You should cover the somewhat awful but still pretty 5 dolls for an august moon
I like these too but for some reason, they don't do well with the larger audience.
@@GoodBadFlicks that is a real shame!! Italian horror is the best!! Thank you for covering this one!

I generally enjoy "Giallo", however admittedly they can be all over the place, damn...@ least there are always attractive women in these flicks.
I just watch TH-cam shorts to watch the sequel, “Police Blundering in the Daylight.”🤣😂

If you're blue and you watch a bad giallo it makes you green. I'm not sorry.
