Bolt-on's on my non PI 1996 Ford Mustang GT on a Scanned - HP tuneup with speed limiter removed would bury the 150 mph speedometer after redlining fourth gear into 4800 rpm in fifth with being shut-down before redlining fifth rear, mainly because of tire rating and no roll cage. Was fun, but one of them things you didn't want to do very often because of pushing past safety factors for just a thrill. One time in the 1970's when I had a 1972 yellow split bumper the race rebuilt 1965 Corvette 396ci 425hp engine with another 150hp on top of the 425hp from 13:1 compression and full race cam (LS-7,) which was a rocket. From a stop sign onto the end of the highway merging lane of the main highway was one-quarter mile. A friend and I was running my Camero through the gears when all of a sudden when we saw the drivers side front tire rolling down the highway in front of us. Carefully I backed down on the throttle to keep the front brake disk from slamming into the pavement without touching the pavement until the last couple of feet before a complete stop. No damage done with being able to find all five lug nuts flipped into the opposite lanes of traffic. Something must be wrong with your numbers for the 2016 Shelby Mustang. I have a very rare 2016 Mustang Blackout. It has a Coyote 5.0 L that was listed as producing 529 HP and 506 FP torque, However, on a privet Dino produced over 612 HP and 539 FP torque.
NEVER seen a Mustang that could corner. We've had a few. 68 fastback, Mach 1 with Detroit 451. Knowing they can't corner-in 1994 I was @ Bondurant School o hi Performance Driving in an ugly body original 5.0. and just went for it on the S curve. Stayed on the clutch to keep it going and DID A 360 at the end of the curve. Spun it around in the right direction with tires smoking and shot off down the track. I got an award plaque for that. They said I should be racing GT. I chose the right car too-#3
I find it interesting that the rear axle ratios were not mentioned as they are a huge factor in the top speed of any of these vehicles. I'm sure a Mustang with a 3.15 rear gear has a much different 0-60 (slower) than a 3.73 rear gear and different (higher) top speeds given any computer restrictions are removed!

@@marksmith4346 I don't blame you at all for that; I imagine that 396 got up pretty quickly and probably hovered on the top end. That 2012 V6 should have been close to 300 hp and pretty responsive.
Something unique about that 03-04 Terminator, it was way ahead of its time and kicked off a new era of supercharged muscle cars of which the other manufacturers followed suit…
Mate beautiful video but you messed up the specs of the Falcon 🤦, the engine they came out with is a 5.8 litre, 351. FFS lol, but everything else, love the video 👌👍
Thanks for the info 👍 and thanks for you support ❤️
The Fox body chassis was still used till 2004 !
The supersnake is rated at 800 hp not 662 which is for the 13'/14' gt500
The 12GT had a governor at 160 an the 15 GT had a governor at 165
The first yellow is the one from MadMax, right?
yup. not sue if the movie car was an xa, b, or c. fastest ausie car was an xy gt ho. 160 mph, std.. but advertising was doctored to 140..
Aaahh, the yellow XB is an Australian Ford.
&, not a gt, i had one, there fairmonts.. last gt was 73, xa..
@@harrywalker968XB’s we’re still GT’s. Ford Australia stopped the GT badge on XC’s.
@@harrywalker968wrong. I have owned 3 XA Coupes, XA ute,, an XB coupe, XB ute, XB sedan, XC sedan and ute, and others. Get with it mate
I was waiting for the GT40 then realised it was exclusively muscle cars
i was waiting for a pantera, but thats I talian
First on race day, fastest on race day! (Usually)
Flip Over Read Directions
Failure Of Research and Development
Forked Over Rebuilt Desoto
And yea, I'm a Ford guy.
The XB GT was a 5.8 not a 5.7
Thank you
ITS STUPID that these rubbish channels make such crap videos
Where'd you get that nice blue sixty nine ish mustang on your front cover
THEY ARE ALL LOVELY ! John P.
Australian XY GT Falcon HO was the fastest 4 door production car in the world. 172mph in 1970. Bite me America! Lol
Mustangs are awesome! My dad had a 66 and my brother had an 02 (neither were anything special) but my uncle had a 70 mach 1 and according to my dad it was so fast and the ass end was so light he and my uncle had to strap weights in the trunk to keep the car on the ground 😂. They should have put the fog lights 0n the 2020 GT500 it stands out like a calling card (personal opinion)
Glad i kept my 2010 gt500.
❤😂😢😮😅😊 thanks for that video I like it keep up the good work and I don’t think dodge did not do that
Glad you enjoyed it
Imagine if Ford Europe did an RS Cosworth 4 wheel drive Mustang, I bet that would be pretty damn awesome.
the cosworth capri, keeps up with nissan godzillas.. british historic racing. silverston..
Click bait. Was only interested in the thumbnail and you didn't deliver 👎
Totally agree. Lots of great cars, but they’re not new. That thumbnail image looked pretty sweet, but going in I fully expected disappointment…and got it.
Too good to be true, because if it was legit, we would already be familiar with the car.
@@Virvum_Juggernaut I'm no car expert, but it likes like a modified mach 1 fast back from around 1971
@@ezradaiquiri11311 Yeah definitely a wheel-tubbed Mach 1 (in a killer shade of blue). What I meant was that if the car was actually doing the rounds on YT, car enthusiasts like us would already be acquainted with it.
Edit : I Wish it was in the upload because I was frothing to hear it launch down the quarter mile.
Dont u love deceptive tactics!
Ford made another muscle car the Torino? And the Cougar, Galaxie, Marauder, Fairlane.
The XG GT is a 5.8 litre Cleveland motor. Bever had a 5.7L at all.
You mean the XB GT - funny how he says 5.7L & 352cu. inch when it's actually 5.8L & 351....
and p00f!! there goes that GT350 engine light 😂
Wrong, the Falcon XB GT was powered by the Cleveland 351 ( 5•8 }. 300 hp was a low ball figure.
I really don't like Ford's, but I have to put some respect on the 1969 Boss Hoss mustang 🐎 💪💪💯
I chose the right car too-#3
So the last one said 202mph, but the spec sheet said 216mph, which one is it ?
216
And then Ford makes Mustangs into an electric family car..... How to DESTROY a legend.
From the Pony 67 Secretary car to the definition of a Power power family that been produced since 1967.
Cobra svt 2004 DSG
I was waiting for the last one to equal the top speed of my C7 ZO6!
Ford GTs have you covered...and then some
😅
your alfabet noodle chev, is plastic..with a re designed lotus engine.. IE.. FKN FORD..
XB GT had a 351 cleveland engine which is a 5.8ltr
The 69 Talladega was clocked at 232mph in nascar at Daytona and Talladega with the 429 interceptor.
Australian xy phase3 Falcon GT quicker than the XB GT and a one only 428 cobra Jet XW Falcon GT built for bill Bourke the boss of ford australia.he was the main man behind the Australian GT Falcons a great man
xb , gt, fairmont,, not a gt, by any means.. i had one.. & a lotus escort.. & an xb gs 351.. coupe. last gt was 73.. faster than xb gt,, so was my lotus..
@@harrywalker968gt's until 76.
Great cars, but what was the one in the thumbnail with a blower?
clickbait
Can't believe they forgot about the 2013 gt500 with the 5.8 that did 200 mph. This list needs to be redone
Yep! 205mph to be exact
My new favorite color is Yellow.
Had Just stock 5.0mustang top speed 155 miles per hour1990
No. Those small fox body Mustangs were too short to be stable at 150 mph. That's why they smack the wall at drag races.
My 87 at 150+ aero was terrible. Could literally saw wheel left and right car would still go straight
The XA GT Phase 4 was faster than the XB GT. Deemed to fast for Australia production saw only a few of them produced. Leftover parts went into the XA GT RPO83 variant
That 2013...💯🎇
You forgot about the only muscle car that won a championship series
For Ford. The 1970 Boss 302 from the Trans-am series in 1970.
And the BOSS 429 Mustang.
In my book.. The 1965 289 K code 4spd 4bbl started it all.
1969 Ford Talladega?? Ford grossly understated the HP.
THE 2013/14 SHELBY GT500 SUPER SNAKE WAS RATED AT 850HP AND DON'T FORGET THE SHELBY 1000 WITH 1000HP!...I AM JUST SAYING!...GOD BLESS AMERICA! 🇺🇸 😇
These are all tough and badazz Ford's. But the Foxbody Technically was used to 2004. Facts. Foxbody was discounted on all models in 93 but they kept it on in the Mustang with different body design til 2004. The 2012 Shelby Gt500 speed was over 200 just like the 2020. Most part did some correct but lot of false information. Forgot the Mustang ll Cobra was also a fast Mustang. The Mustang LX was fastest in the mid 80s. Mustang R and the Mustang F500.
I would be mad if you don't let me know the info of thumbnail
Sweet
Correct me if I am wrong but it is my understanding that the GT 350 had a flat plane crank - not sure about the GT 500. Surely that's worth a mention.
Cool Hotwheels Cars.
9:17 oh just 300 kph
The XB GT was the slowest 351 GT V8 built in Australia. WHY would you even mention it ? Ford factory didnt put a 427 in a car for sale in Australia.
Like the post but how can they only get 300 hp from such a huge engine?
torque, is what you want,, not hp.. my 6 cyl. 4.2tdi german diesel , in a ford super duty, 2001. has 700nm. 240hp..
Falcon XA GTHO PHASE 4 was banned because the XY GTHO PHASE 3 was so fast, with only 4 produced, makes #10 look like a joke, and any American produced car of the era obsolete, the Phase 3 was the world's fastest 4 door sedan for a very long time
yes.. because it was 4 door... gt,s are 2 door.. like a pantera.. they had 2 door falcons in canada, but the ausie gov, wanted family friendly cars.. so we never got them, same as the 2 door crumpledoors.. holden.. so.. i bought a 73, dodge challenger, 340 r/t.. just to be different.. & not have a mustang 289 . dime a dozen.. better buy is a torino, or couger..
This video should have featured the South African Ford endorsed 1969 Perana Capri 302 V8 with the optional Street race pack ...IT was quicker 0-60 and faster top speed than everything on your video of the same era except the Supersnake ....but only just!!!
Man kan inte annat än älska dessa Fordar❤
Lots of inaccuracies here. Ford GTs?
Yep. Some kid in his basement learned to use AI for narration and read off Wikipedia. Oh well . Just turn the sound off and look at the pics. Nice memories.
the 2013 gt500 has stock 662hp the gt500 Super Snake reaches up to 850hp, stock
2013 & 2014 Mustang Shelby Gt 500 Super Snake had 3.6 L Kenny Bell Superchargers pumping out over 900 bhp and close to 850 rwhp. 662 hp is a stock Gt 500 !
Is it possible or reasonable to own a 73 Falcon in the states?
yes.. if,,you can find one,, or have 300k ausie.. i had an xb gt,,there not gt,s.. just stikers.. also had an xb 2 door coupe. gs.. better with the gs,, same sht.. last ausie gt was an xa 72/3.. if you want a real ausie gt, look for an xy, gt, ho. 71.. 160 mph std.. 4v clevo.. best ford engine ever.. built for trucks..in u.s..
The aluminum body AC 427 Cobra belongs somewhere on this list. Not sure what the years were, somewhere between 65 and 67.
that's a great car
MAD MAX !!!!
Australia Falcon is a great car. Recessed outside door handles were ahead of the times as were MoPar models at the time.
Fastest 4 door sedan in the World at the time.Pretty significant I would have thought.Coming from a country of such a small population. And it was not made in the USA.
Why wasn't the xy falcon gtho mentioned?
And everyone of them had ring marks around it from Pontiacs, hahahaha.😂
Well as far as the 1967 mustang. It did depend on which one you got. The one he is talking about or the One. The 1967 GT 500 super snake KR.
Eh my 1970 torino gt 351c with fmx and 3.00 rear does 160 before i run into valve float lol
There were many other very fast Ford's and Mercury's that didn't even get Mentioned it's a shame ,
I liked the torino and cougars.
The 2013/14 GT 500 also had 850 HP version.
La super snek c est heleonore pour moi humm Goodyear cars ❤
