Honestly I’d say: 4. Senior Year - It was a boring year in my opinion since I had little to do, but my classes were also organized in a way where I had to still plan my day around the classes I had. Plus most my friends were Seniors the year before and they graduated so that sucked. 3. Sophomore Year - First half was really good. Chaotic, but good. Second half was absolute ass, dealt with my first heart break. Not a fun time, I was pretty depressed actually. 2. Freshman year - ‘Twas a good time. High school was still new an exciting, plus that’s when I started to become friends with people of all grades which was fun! 1. Junior Year - Good year for the most part. I'd agree except my junior and senior years were interrupted by covid. And then doing it all online was a complete nightmare. So in short, freshman year makes me the happiest with all the memories, sophomore year was fine enough but got crazy towards the end, junior year was extremely disappointing and then bad, and my senior year was super depressing.
I agree with everything except I would put junior year before senior year. I liked my junior year better than my senior year. You have the advantage of being an upperclassman and do a lot of things seniors do but there isn’t as much pressure since you’ll have one more chance next year rather than this being your last chance.

For my personal experience it’s 1. Sophomore (it was the year I truly not only became comfortable with myself socially but I had some of my best, most fulfilling moments with friends then) 2. Junior (Kinda filler, less memorable, still fine) 3. Freshman (Intimidating and awkward) 4. Senior (Total outside influence making that year miserable. Depression, transitioning, just felt like a blur in a bad way.)
As a senior nearing graduation, school is literally just a mandatory side quest right now. If I stop going then I won't graduate but I'm learning absolutely nothing and my teachers give out a pretty good chunk of busy work still. I don’t mind a filler year, fairly low stress relativity speaking. 3. Senior year has its perks don’t get me wrong, but coupling hard workload with all the college stuff is very stressful. Senior year has its highlights but I felt like there was way more stress than highlights. 4. Freshman year. While it’s way better than middle school, you just have no idea how high school works. Figuring out friends, extracurriculars ,academics etc. is super hard and is no fun. Plus you know you have a-lot ahead of you. Ur just kind of at the bottom in multiple ways. By the end of freshman year you get the hang of things but it is tough in the moment.

I only did a year of in-person high school and I don't for a second regret not doing more than a year. I went to in-person high school for my sophomore year and that's it. I lived in Utah during my middle school and high school days, and Utah is weird in that 9th graders go to the middle schools. I went to online school for my junior and senior year and I loved it. I had sooo much more free time and I also no longer had to hear and be around the obnoxious and entirely pointless drama that constantly took place in my high school. I hated every second of the year of in-person high school I did; especially the cliquiness. Because I lived in Utah at the time and was one of the few students in the school who wasn't Mormon, it made connecting with other students hard. If a student happened to find out I wasn't Mormon, they'd view me as some freak that should be avoided at all costs. It sucked. Anyhow, I'm glad those days are long behind me. I'm now 22.5 years old and about to finish my bachelor degree in Business Marketing. I'm sooo relieved to be finished with school for good now. 😌

I'd agree except my junior and senior years were interrupted by covid. And then doing it all online was a complete nightmare. So in short, freshman year makes me the happiest with all the memories, sophomore year was fine enough but got crazy towards the end, junior year was extremely disappointing and then bad, and my senior year was super depressing.
I agree with everything except I would put junior year before senior year. I liked my junior year better than my senior year. You have the advantage of being an upperclassman and do a lot of things seniors do but there isn’t as much pressure since you’ll have one more chance next year rather than this being your last chance.

Freshman year sucked for me. I had racist new teachers, lost a bunch of friends, wasted the whole year upset because someone I cared about didn’t care about me, NEARLY failed, was depressed the whole year, tried to hurt myself, and other stuff. But that’s just me.

This is kinda true, Sophomore year, it's just an extension of your Freshman year but you're just a little older and kinda getting the hang of it. I barely went to 10th grade, I was one of those kids who did online School during Covid 2 years ago and it was mid.

1. Sophomore (it was the year I truly not only became comfortable with myself socially but I had some of my best, most fulfilling moments with friends then)
2. Junior (Kinda filler, less memorable, still fine)
3. Freshman (Intimidating and awkward)
4. Senior (Total outside influence making that year miserable. Depression, transitioning, just felt like a blur in a bad way.)
As a senior nearing graduation, school is literally just a mandatory side quest right now. If I stop going then I won't graduate but I'm learning absolutely nothing and my teachers give out a pretty good chunk of busy work still. Its definitely been my best year of high school but yeah school right now feels like a giant obstacle in front of freedom.

1. Junior Year. You have the hang of school but you aren’t too worried ab college so u are honestly just coasting. Most people usually have way more freedom at this point and you learn a lot ab life.
2. Sophomore year: not the same freedom as junior/senior year but you have mostly gotten the hang of hs and made more friends, even less worried ab college. I don’t mind a filler year, fairly low stress relativity speaking.
3. Senior year has its perks don’t get me wrong, but coupling hard workload with all the college stuff is very stressful. Senior year has its highlights but I felt like there was way more stress than highlights.
4. Freshman year. While it’s way better than middle school, you just have no idea how high school works. Figuring out friends, extracurriculars ,academics etc. is super hard and is no fun. Plus you know you have a-lot ahead of you. Ur just kind of at the bottom in multiple ways. By the end of freshman year you get the hang of things but it is tough in the moment.

My Sophomore year was entirely online so it didn't even feel like it happened
I only did a year of in-person high school and I don't for a second regret not doing more than a year. I went to in-person high school for my sophomore year and that's it. I lived in Utah during my middle school and high school days, and Utah is weird in that 9th graders go to the middle schools. I went to online school for my junior and senior year and I loved it. I had sooo much more free time and I also no longer had to hear and be around the obnoxious and entirely pointless drama that constantly took place in my high school.
I hated every second of the year of in-person high school I did; especially the cliquiness. Because I lived in Utah at the time and was one of the few students in the school who wasn't Mormon, it made connecting with other students hard. If a student happened to find out I wasn't Mormon, they'd view me as some freak that should be avoided at all costs. It sucked.
Anyhow, I'm glad those days are long behind me. I'm now 22.5 years old and about to finish my bachelor degree in Business Marketing. I'm sooo relieved to be finished with school for good now. 😌
