    Tip #One:
Always vacuum before mopping. Dust turns to mud and stains your grout. ☝🏼

@mrs.noneyabuisness5025 is it? Alot of professional cleaners don't vacuum the whole floor. Just the stuff you early see and then mop the whole floor. Dust end up in your mop water and it saved you a lot of time.

If you don't want to put your mop head in the wash, fill a clean bucket with HOT water, dish soap and vinegar, agitate it by spinning the stick for a little while and let it soak. Might have to do first step a couple times, then empty it, ring out your mop, fresh hot water and a little bleach and let it soak for an hour or two. Then just let it air dry.

I believe vaccuming at least 2 times especially corners and sides and use a broom to pick up anything else. Then Mop with microfiber mop warm water and vinegar as long as no other cleaner has been used. Rinse Mop wring out to very dry and go over again so the floor has very little left to dry.
Least that is what I have seen recommended. If the floor has been mopped with some other cleaner vaccum 2 times and use broom then use a recommended cleaner to get the product off the floor and a couple weeks later use the vinegar and water.
Mop only every two weeks or so as wetting is not too good on wood floors.

A floor should be clear of dirt before mopping by vaccuming and or sweeping thoroughly. Mopping is to remove fine dirt left over and any stubborn spots or left on spills should be cleaned by hand and not with the mop. Mopping in a M W pattern with the grain is better on the back than the side to side motion. Use arms more when mopping and save your back. From a housekeeper 😊

But how do you keep those grout lines so clean?

  • @BionicBear88

This is super random, but... Does anybody else really really hate when they install faux hardwood tiles with thick/noticeable grout lines? 😓 Like, isn't the whole point to have hardwood looking floors, but with the benefits and easy maintenance of tile? They're meant to be tiles disguised as hardwood, right? 🤷‍♀️ So why wouldn't you install the tiles as close together as possible, and then use a grout that's colored to match the "hardwood"!?! 🤔 That way, even though you may not be able to fully eliminate the grout lines, visually minimizing the grout lines greatly increases the illusion that they are actually hardwood floors. It's not that hard of a concept, is it? 🤦‍♀️ I mean, I seriously can't be the only person that doesn't get/hates this!! 😬😅
