- EGR or exhaust gas recirculation system is designed to reduce the pollution from the car , but it also have some downsides ,it effects the pickup of the diesel vehicle and also leads to carbon buildup in intake system , like on intake valves, intake manifold , and intake pipes .
so to maintain the ideal performance we have to get all these things cleaned , problem egr valve blocked
how to clean the egr system on vw polo , vw vento ,ameo ,skoda rapid ?
the same process applies on volkswagen polo , vento , jetta , passat , ameo , skoda rapid , and every tdi engine of vw group

It contributes to black smoke issues , not its not the only one . There are 2 more things which can create black smoke

After completion, did you make any adaptation of throttle body/valve by VCDS?
No sir i reset all the default values by disconnection the negative terminal of the battery for 30 mins , as ecu is capable of calibration if it gets disconnected from the power source for a long time .
And if you don't want to do that , you can just skip this step

Drop in eagerness , fuel consumption negatively affected .
Although egr are capable of self cleaning , but you need to drive it on higher revs above 2k , blocked egr is mostly the error of driver , driving on higher gears and lower revs. Which results in lower exhaust temp. And leave the carbon soot unburnt which then stuck to the egr cooler .

And my driving style is ensuring that I don't lug the engine at low RPMs and take care of not stomping the accelerator and wait for the turbo to spool up. Is this fine according to you ?

From maf sensor to intake manifold everything
Maf , maf mesh , turbo inlet pipe ,intercooler , anti shudder valve , and intake manifold itself .

My polo 1.2 tdi has sound from the vaccum sensor which is at the top right corner of the engine bay. What would be the problem?
Most probably ,A loose connection .
yourDIYneeds I checked it with a mechanic and he says to do decarbonizing . That would solve this noise
my N75 (solenoid valve) makes noise too
In some cases yes it does , little chirping noise

No sir i two are t30 , one is Allen 5 mm and one is t 25 which is for the bracket going inside the intake

Hi, black smoke coming from my vento tdi 2014 when i do hard acceleration in 1,2,3 gear and after all the smoke come out then i do again hard acceration then the black smoke wont come out , is this process will solve that problem ? please help

Sir change your engine oil , for a better synthetic , your cylinder walls are getting dry, use a oil which sticks better for better lubrication

@@shivamsekhri.05 0W vs 5W lower rating - negligible difference. In India temperature rarely goes down so much to use 0W oil. Check if the oil confirms VW 505 00. The car's manual will mention if it's 505 00 or something else.

Agar ye white smoke kisi or gaadi se ara ho to uske piston rings khatam ho chuke hai and new dalenge
But agar gaadi vw hai ya skoda hai ya audi hai ( specifically TDI ) to koi dikkat nahi hai

sir Ideally its made to stand those kind of conditions , but remember do not use a pressure washer , as its much more powerful than a normal hoze , and avoid the injector

Hi Sir, My EGR inlet port has not positioned the way you showed. it's in the opposite direction. it is not positioned downwards in 2015 VW Polo TDI . please help.
Sir i too have a 2nd gen polo which started from 2014 july and still selling , although the tdi has been discontinued now . If something is changed then you can just track the pipe which is coming out of block

I have seen your old vedio of egr delete using a can plate . Have you removed it or it's the other car .
Sir , for some time i removed the blanking plate , around 10-15 days , then i got the blanking plate made from a solid piece of aluminum .

Sir as far as i remember , in petrol models pcv is buit into the valve cover on top at backside of oil filler cap , its can be replaced , but its expensive like around 4k

@@yourDIYneeds Got same deposit even in 19,000 km Vento. Lot depends on quality of fuel and low speed driving percentage.
@@pinakidas397 I just cleaned my throttle body and EGR pipe on my 2013 TDI Tiguan for the first time in 257000km. Throttle vv not so badly clogged but pipe had carbon but not completely clogged. There was no error codes before and after no adaptations required. All is good, I hope for the best and more kilos to go.👌

Sir yes i m in delhi , but i don't have a garage , milege and pickup problem are usually related to MAF sensor in newer cars , so i will advised to get the MAF sensor cleaned
@@yourDIYneeds Thank you very much for the response... I have Polo diesel 1.2 2013 December make..... during last service at Noida sector-18 in Sep 2020.. they changed,, engine oil, air filter, ac pollen filter, fuel filter and oil filter, front brake pad and did tight handbrake...
Since then Milage is dropped by 20% as i started driving a lot it became 40%. Today i got it scanned and general checkup they said no light no error code.. nothing is wrong.. i asked them to check EGR Valve, Injector, O2 sensor and Mass Air flow but they changed air and pollen filter. . I will forcefully ask them to check MAF and could be due to tight handbrake?????
Yes , it can be handbrakes can create drag , if not done properly . If mileage is the issue then cleaning the MAF and running a injector cleaner along the diesel in tank , will restore both efficiency and performance
