Interestingly John Thaw who played Regan in the Sweeny and Inspector Morse ..was at the time one inch too small to be in the Police ..they had height limits back then..
I certainly did recognise many of these greats as they came through Mark. From Top gear, Britains got talent, the late show and even Allan Sugar from the apprentice. I just had to laugh when I saw my old mate Benny Hill come flying out. Our family watched him each week and had a good laugh as a child.
We also watched some mothers do have em with Michael Crawford. Who would have known how well he could sing. My dad loved phantom of the opera.

I thoroughly enjoyed this one. It was so good to see lots of blasts from the past. It’s funny how I was really surprised at how short some of them were. They have such huge personalities that they don’t seem small in stature. 😊

Yea I did say in the pinned comment it’s a bit late now. Problem is I want to try and keep these videos nearer 10-12 minutes, although I do know all of those guys you mentioned. I think people like Kenny Everett and jimmy tarbuck are bigger misses than those guys, but tarbuck I forgot about till just before I posted and Everett I couldn’t source a decent full length pic of. If this video does really well I’ll put those names in a part 2, can’t say fairer than that

I didn’t forget anyone. Unfortunately if I included every famous tv personality the video would have lasted about 3 weeks. Anthony Andrews I’ve actually never heard of. Irons is in one of my videos, but sure which 🤔
What about talk show host? We can go way back to Sally Jessy Raphael… That would be an interesting one. I actually knew a lot of them on this video. My all time favorite 7:36 mark. The last one is REAL tall.
