It's all very silly. I love a bit of action in the square but this storyline & the Danny character are stupid. It wasn't long ago they were portraying Danny as a guy about to kill Phil & Ben in the warehouse with a bunch of muscle backing him up but other times they just allow him to keep getting mugged off by the Mitchells & he's too pussy to do anything about it. No consistency with these characters, unfortunately they've had a lot of gangster storyline that are silly involving the Mitchells in the last 10 years or so.

EE don't realise that these people don't muck around none of these gangsters have any real urgency about them or seem like a legit threat at any point. Compare to simaler characters in other soaps (such as Danny alter ego Barry Grant) and they look more Simpsons than Sopranos and yes I also agree that Phil dominating feuds against people like Danny and Jonny is daft.

DC Hooch was played by Dominic Carter and Danny Hardcastle was played by Paul Usher who ironically enough played PC Des Taviner in The Bill as well as Barry Grant in Brookside :))))

Too many gangster characters in Eastenders whose stories never get resolved: Jonah Tyler,Jason Cox, Aiden Macguire and Danny Hardcastle. I'm happy we get these gangster storyline but they need to stop bringing in new gangsters and resolve the current ones
