Love the honesty of your review, John. It's a big shame as I was mega excited by the look of this game. I'm going to steer clear now, especially after seeing the "TV Camera-style" replays... ouch.

Great review sir! I was super excited to come across this game recently, but not being able to race online against my brother killed the dream for me. Hopefully the developers add that feature in a future release. Can't believe they added split screen, who even plays split screen anymore? Especially when PS4/PS5 is like 90% 1 player games with online multiplayer🤦‍♂️.

I emailed them, and they responded. I gave them honest and realistic opinions as I know about drag racing AND how drag racing games should be, and I gave them my suggestions. My 4 biggest suggestions were the sound of the funny cars and top fuel don't sound like nitro cars. They sound like "A-fuel dragsters". If u look up what A-fuel dragsters are on TH-cam, you'll know what I'm saying. Nitro cars have a loud clapping sound of thunder, ignition, and raw nitro. Big difference than A-fuel sounds. My other suggestions were when playing the nitro cars, I can hear a pro stock car clearing out its motor over and over and over and over while I'm staging up to the line. It does it every run and it's obnoxious to hear that during a nitro run. But whenever I went and played prostock cars, they sounded like dog 💩. My other suggestion was tuning. The career mode is exactly how split screen mode should be. You make a pass, and then u go to the pits and make some adjustments for the next run. Split screen mode gets so boring so fast bc it's literally the same thing over and over. And with tuning, there must be a way to tune the blower on the top fuel and funny cars. That's literally where they make all of their power from. On this game, u can't even tune the blower. In my opinion, Nascar was able to let players drive into the pit area and then drive back behind the wall into the garage. For a NHRA game in 2022, we should be able to make a pass, make the turnoff at the end of the track, and then drive back to the pit area realistically. And maybe for split screen, u can have a 2 minute mini game where u have to get back to the pit area and work on your car with full tuning options available before the 2 mn time limit runs out. And once the 2 minute ends, the game loads the cars back to the starting line, and THEN u can make last minute clutch adjustments. Its 2022, split screen is a live saver for many gamers, and online has become the new mobile split screen. They could sell this game at 100 dollars if they listen to my suggestion to fix a few minor things. Also, humidity is 100% one of the biggest factors in racing. For example, 100% humidity outside means the air is super thick and muggy. For any motor in the world, thick air like that means the motor can't breathe as much therefore, u won't make a lot of horsepower. The same goes for humans. The more humid it is outside, the harder it is to breathe. The game has air temperature and that's it. No wind speed. No nothing. It's like they didn't even play the previous NHRA games to at least get a base idea on how the game should be played. Also, in my opinion, there needs to be a split screen career mode or even just a split screen season mode. Maybe even just a regular play now split screen mode, but with a money system involved. Where everyone u make, u lose 2000 dollars , but if u win, u gain 10,000 . Something along the lines of that to keep things interesting. I mean, how good does it sound to have to worry about wind speed, humidity, tire Temp, a full tuning option, and then all the effort just to win one race, and then win rounds, and have a money flow, and then u reap the rewards of staying in-tuned to the game for split screen. I mean, is that asking for too much? They got phone games that already do this smh. But back to the email, they haven't replied back to me since. You can describe this game based on the burnout of top fuel and funny cars ......not even smoke ☠️. Also, in online mode and regular play now mode, single player and split screen, the reaction time system is broken

Does it have wheel support because myself personally I would not pay that much for a drag game without wheel support or is it a drag game with only controllers? thank you for your video, Have a good day!☕

On a pc,this is not a jump in and play game. You will crash. But if you put in a few hours and know something about drag racing it is amazing. More sim than game. It works with my Thrustmaster wheel and pedals as well and for 10 American dollars with all dlc it's a food time.

What is the customization like? Is it just “upgrade from stage 1 to stage 2” or is it more in-depth? I am both a video game player (don’t consider myself a “gamer”) and a car guy. I drag race in reality (not professional) and racing games are sometimes hard for me to fully enjoy if the “tuning” isn’t there. I don’t expect this game to have OG Ihra drag racing 2 on ps2 tuning, which is THE BEST in terms of how deep you can tune, but I hope it’s more than every part just having stage 1 2 or 3 upgrade like most all racing games do. I want to tune suspension, tire pressure, boost, shift points, gear ratios, I’d like lists of parts in specific areas to pick from for example - spark plug, maybe have multiple brands with different specs to choose from, or “these heads have this valve chamber size vs this head that has bigger exhaust but smaller intake” etc. with pc gaming being where it is now honestly what I want in a game like this should be doable. Just nobody’s doing it. The world is full of companies catering to niche markets. I just want to select specific cam lobes and bore size or what fuel I want. Everything that I do when building a real drag race engine I want to do in a drag racing game. Carb size, cam timing. There are games that come close like automation on steam, with pretty good engine building, and no limit 2 on iOS. I wish they could merge together. Sorry for the long post. Lol

Your PC overheated? 😆 You know its not a car, it should never overheat, even at 100 %.
    Maybe this helps:
-Clean the dust from the fan/heat sink on both your GPU and CPU
-Use MSI afterburner free software and custom set the Fan speed of your GPU to work at 100 % when the temp reaches 85°C/185°F
-If the CPU is overheating, buy better Fan, it can be fairly cheap and it will make your PC quieter
