Hahaha I think her point was just that the windows were the first thing he pointed out, like they are more fascinating than the pool or something like that! XD
I like roleplaying and immersion a lot when playing these types of games so I hate when everything looks so clean and pre war but I still use the vault tec type beds cause you can wash sheets
How about junk homes, or scavenger styled homes? Homes wit a style of rust and resourcefulness, using whatever was at hand to build up a relatively safe space out of whatever was already there and somewhat structurally sound. Like making a base out of the remains of a crashed airplane, or a toppled over skyscraper.
*Oxhorn*, I always enjoy watching you showing us the beaty, the efficiency and all the unique treats that come with each of the many Fallout 4 mods. So once again, thank you. ......... *Hannah D*,, *Faisal dawood*, and *Nemrod* (*נמרוד*), I ditto your comments (without throwing cats into bathtubs) ......... I've been hoping it was possible to create or download player home mods exactly like the ones shown in this video. Player homes located at the utmost top of Fallout 4's tallest buildings in and near Boston, and I suspect that with these mods the modders knew that many players have been wanting this. I like these mods even better because of the way the modders have made lots of room and space for the player to put his own mark on the homes and build it's interior in accordance with his own preferences and taste. The 'penthouse' on top of the second tallest building, and the inside of the apartment mod featured last in your video are especially inviting and I _am_ going to install them. :) These 'player home' mods are really everything that players such as myself could ever hope for and I can't say how much I appreciate the time, energy and work that has gone into creating it all.
Note for the Shezrie Apartment Building, you can actually go out onto the balcony and roof by using certain windows with an exit sign nearby, and there is a safe and clothes rack behind the bathroom door in the main bedroom
One problem with the mods: They don't feel believable. Perfect pristine condition luxury apartments in the middle of this worn out city that has been plundered and scrapped for 200 years? No whine about the mods at all - the first one and the second were absolutely great. But there should be a little protection of the apartments that make sense and protected it for the time from raiders. Let it be a pure turret nightmare or better some hidden doors, electrical "puzzles" and a terminal or something. Right now they are gorgeous as player homes but lore wise they are critical.
It was nice to see a home that was hard to gain access to. 99% of modded players homes could just be accessed by anyone off the street which would not be a place to settle if I was a survivor.
Just an FYI for Oxhorn and anyone else paying attention, the two Dartmouth player home mods are redundant. The top floor loft places a workbench on the roof along with some structures right in the middle of the back bay penthouse space. So if you have both installed you end up with 2 workbenches in the same space. so if you use the loft mod then the back bay penthouse mod is really unnecessary unless you just have to have that dirty water pool.
All of your videos are exceptionally well made, and it is very easy to see how much thought and planning have gone into their creation. This video was no exception, and for that, my good sir, have yourself a new subscriber. Many thanks and keep 'me coming, on a previous video (maybe chronologically maybe not) you assisted me with finding all of the merchants in game, so a massive thank you for that too. All the best Wezza
Great vid Oxhorn..really like the Cabot Square Apartment and the downtown loft with the lobby..Slash Throat Refuge is on PS4 and that place is Amazing!!! Had to delete it though:( I was afraid my PS4 was gonna catch fire..
it's all to do with the shadows, fallout 4 renders shadows very far in the distance (ones you can't see) this destroys performance.. download a mod called 'shadow boost" when the mod is set up properly you will gain about 15-20fps more in city's and your game will look exactly the same. All the mod does is lower shadow distance depending on the fps you want.. so say I put shadow distance to 15000 Max and set my fps to 60, the mod will use 15000 shadow distance as long as the game stays at 60fps and if the fps drops below the shadows will go lower and lower until the 60fps Target is hit (game will still look the same)
JETWTF is civilisation on console? how about dota, or maybe even some games that are on console like minecraft and terraria, where the pc version is indisputably better
Thanks, Oxhorn! I'm hungry for pre-built player homes as I have found out with dismay that I can't make my own mods with PS4. However I have downloaded a few good ones and they are nice but not quite what I am looking for yet. Either they were too "clean" and not lore-friendly, or with such an exaggerated layout that it would take forever to walk around storing my items. I'll keep browsing the mods and your videos, thank you!
Tune in next week for more Post Apocalypses Cribs with Oxhorn; sponsored in part by Vim. I really like the fact you thank the modders for the mods you review; its classy. And thanks for the videos, they are entertaining.
I like the idea of external cell homes where you can have turrets shoot passing aggressives. Makes it nice that when you are walking through an area like that and get attacked, you got turret backup!!
One of the really cool attention-to-detail things I noticed (you didn't mention so idk if you noticed it too. apologies if so) with Sherezie's loft is that when you activate the toilet, the seat opens like you're actually using it. I know that's a little thing, but I'm easily amused by little things like that.
To bring a little bit of constructive critic: You sometimes move the mouse a little bit too fast when you show off the player homes. Maybe a little bit slower could do the trick.
I'm surprised you didn't have Elianora's "Marlboro Mansion" in this mod video =O Also move-in ready, as per usual with Elianora, and absolutely gorgeous.
6:22 I love the Mr. House picture, roleplaying wise you could maybe be a new version of the mechanist, who only builds RobCo style robots and you have a picture of Robert Edwin House in your home
The only player home I've run so far is "The Crypt" by LukeCraw. Amazing little home underground, right next to Goodneighbor. Easily live-in ready, but is also fully buildable. It even comes with a trio of vendors. The only black mark, in my opinion, is that it comes with a *lot* of ammo and armor, and makes early game a breeze.
HEYNOW ~ Cool Guide : The Second Condo ( Shezrie’s ) I downloaded back in April and it was my first ever & I still call it home 🏡 and I was thinking of finally downloading another house mod butt not in same Location ....... Not sure 🤔 we’re yet 🎮 Thanx 4 Posting & much love from Portugal 🇵🇹
great video I love these modders man they are super creative. you should check out jpitners home mods, my personal favorite is the mass pike loft it's huge! all workshops you build share inventory, you can send a supply line, send companions, he even gives you a miniature recruitment beacon so you can make it a settlement if you want. I use mass pike loft for my home and companions because it's literally like six floors of space... he does excellent work as do you my good sir!
Wow... actually almost every place was nice. So far I had problems with finding really good places but these ones were really nice. Well done... again! :)
I love you videos and the entirety of the fallot series your videos help when deciding what home mods to choose from and well as other mods to choose form so thank you so much
i loved fallout 3 so much when fallout 4 came out i couldnt bare and watch the entire internet talk about playing it and see friends playing it while i was in half way. then i couldnt bare it anymore so i went out and bought an xbox 1 even thought i wasnt allowed to have a console yet, and fallout 4 for probably like 360$ all together or some shit. Then i literally played it as much as possible. woke up played for 13 hours went to work then got home and played till i passed out and did it over and over and over and over and played fallout till i played every option there was and had best melee char ever. then i got out of half way and went on a coke binge for a month and sold my xbox 1 for 100$ as well as my game for 20$. and that was like 6 months ago i couldve sold it for so much more
My comment was directed at the guy who told you 'there' was the proper word to use, when it should have been 'their'. Why try and correct someone if you can't do it right, you know? lol

Good video. Thanks for the ideas! Could you please turn your pip boy light off though. It spoils the ambient lighting and we can see most of the places you go easily.
I'd love to see one of the old churches with workshop access. I've tried to build grander buildings in various places, with limited success. I'd just love a "Cathedral of Power Armour" player home, as one of my playthroughs was a personal mission to find/buy all the power armour sets that I could (nearly 100, so far, over 60 are complete and upgraded)and I am struggling to (nicely) home them all under one roof! :p
The first one reviewed combined with the rooftop (greenhouse with planter boxes) mod for my J.B. Agent build. I wanted a bachelor pad but am not interested in all the building (too tedious). A couple of Dirty Wastelanders left on the bar and Voi-la.
It would be disappointing if the Dartmouth rooftop settlement cannot be connected. The Conquest Mod allows even new settlements in Nukaworld which can be connected back to the Commonwealth (although in Nukaworld the new settlements don't seem to show population levels). The mods are beautiful pieces of work. I'll enable as many as I can.
I like how when he first entered the main penthouse and totally ignored the pool in the living room to go talk about the "slanted" Windows 😂😂
Hahaha I think her point was just that the windows were the first thing he pointed out, like they are more fascinating than the pool or something like that! XD

Could we get "best lore friendly player homes"? Would be cool to see that!

I am the same, I just can't use mods like these.. I also can't use modded weapons unless they have a rust texture to them lol
If you can wash sheets then you can use a shovel, broom, and mop. Just sayin'. ;)
How about junk homes, or scavenger styled homes? Homes wit a style of rust and resourcefulness, using whatever was at hand to build up a relatively safe space out of whatever was already there and somewhat structurally sound. I'd love this guy to sell me a house one day.
Agreed!
Deus Vult yeah
But I’ll be honest I’d rather build one
This video was like watching an HGTV show. Well done Oxhorn!
lol thanks
Dude you your work is so amazing Cant hate it

That tank in the Dartmouth home reminds me of model tank paperweight my grandfather brought back from a Volkswagon office he secured during WWII
the cabot square apartment is so dope, the house, the story, the relay. all of it. great video and great list as always.
Thank you Oxhorn for the consistent uploads :)
You bet!
now thats not a very nice thing to do, faisal
i like you vidoes

Oliver Kurzweg Just say you pass time and built the places yourself. The sole survivor canonicaly is a master craftsperson and architect.
I wish some of these places were real. I love all the pools and nuka cola machines. All the cool details and knickknacks. Awesome!
I love the pool in the apartment and the jacuzzi. I wish real buildings had stuff like that. Also the pool on top of the building looks awesome.
Lets just say that the penthouse has air condition
Well, we will sell it faster I guess. :P
WasteLand AC!
It was nice to see a home that was hard to gain access to. 99% of modded players homes could just be accessed by anyone off the street which would not be a place to settle if I was a survivor.
For anyone on Xbox one, The top floor loft has been added. It's 33.79 MB and requires Far Harbor, Contraptions and Vault-Tec.
The house with the teleporter is honestly the coolest!

Hey i just noticed when you sat on the toilet in shezrie's loft the toilet seat actually lifts up thats pretty neat little addition!
Feel like I'm the only one who never spent time in the city during the game. Maybe I did but never bothered exploring each individual nook and cranny
Turt Reynolds ini edits, use them
Turt Reynolds seriously though i would love that pc, i7 is a bit ott for most games but that 1070 is just perfect so long as you arent going 4k
Turt Reynolds www.reddit.com/r/fo4/comments/3sdyu7/the_old_ini_tweaks_still_work/ theres the ini tweak here

17:40 - think something went wrong when editing lol

This is a great video. Ox could you ever do a playthrough of fallout?
Twitchy Titchy yes plssssssss ox
Have you seen the Sanctuary Hot Springs mod? It's pretty cool, you can get into the hotsprings and also has ability to change and build.
I'm surprised you didn't have Elianora's "Marlboro Mansion" in this mod video =O Also move-in ready, as per usual with Elianora, and absolutely gorgeous.
Hangman’s Penthouse is also nice place. And + you have a limited but still a settlement under you. That makes it my favorite penthouse
Why does it cut at 17:40?
Mathew Eddings how would no one notice. It's so obvious.
I noticed it.
I got it to
Eddings 1997 no,I to notice that.
Mirror mirror on the wall, who is the best youtuber of them all? Oxhorn of course!
6:22 I love the Mr. House picture, roleplaying wise you could maybe be a new version of the mechanist, who only builds RobCo style robots and you have a picture of Robert Edwin House in your home
The part where he hummed "girl from ipeniba (or smthn)" made me smile ear to ear
I could watch these videos all night keep up the great videos oxhorn
Some of these are fantastic, especially the ones that work together! I wonder what you could find for bunker or survivalist shelter player homes?
The only player home I've run so far is "The Crypt" by LukeCraw. Amazing little home underground, right next to Goodneighbor. Easily live-in ready, but is also fully buildable. It even comes with a trio of vendors.

For the first home, thinking realistically wouldn't it be a bad idea, with the building facing the threat of collapse. Great vid BTW
To be fair, of it hasn't collapsed after 200 years of bombs and disrepair, it probably never will.
I could watch these videos all night, keep up the great work oxhorn

I like how Preston just went right into chill mode in Louisburg.
glad to see your channel growing...your shits on point
If I'm not mistaken, that tv is the one from the intro for Fallout 1.
You're roooooooooight.....
A strange cut at 17:40 but other than that, excellent video my man!~
All pretty cool mods! 4th one is my favourite 👍🏼 very handy for a survival play through.
Oxhorn missed a "THIS IS OXHORN" moment with the skeleton
*shudder* last time a door opened on its own I was in the Dunwich Building and it was accompanied by visions and chanting x.x
Could you make a video on East Boston Preparatory School, that place has some interesting lore in it.
You should make a video on the best aesthetic homes in fallout. Thanks!
I love you videos and the entirety of the fallot series your videos help when deciding what home mods to choose from and well as other mods to choose form so thank you so much
the 2nd one looks like its for people with ocd
and that way i got it thanks oxhorn

Wouldn't it be great if a player home I had separate apartments for the companions. That would be a great mod.
Love your videos oxhorn hope you had a great thanksgiving
Thank you! I am on xbox desperate for player homes because outfield retreat is TOO small...Thank you for this series!!!😊
Something about Oxhorn's voice is just so soothing and relaxing. I love it.
That_troll_justin totally!
Pet peeve: When you say "dilapiTAted". Haha. Those are some fascinating player homes, though. Thanks for pointing these out!
damn oxhorn, last I checked ur channel u were on 60k subs, not to long ago, and now 80k damn keep up the good work :D
can you make a video on all of the military bases and there lore?
*there
Happy mate?
.....I hate when people grammar nazi improperly. Their*
i do not get what you are saying mate??
My comment was directed at the guy who told you 'there' was the proper word to use, when it should have been 'their'. Why try and correct someone if you can't do it right, you know? lol
I love these showcase videos!
Just discovered you channel, love your content.
26:16 ... I died at the elevator song. LOL
You're a good Realestate agent
Just bought a $1300 dollar computer so once it gets here I can finally play this darn game!
iBUYPOWER Desktop Computer NE647K
I was going to get a custom but this was cheap enough and better than what I was planning since its on sale so.
The Blind Leader
Damn man with $1300 you coulda probably built a Godly gaming PC and stuffed a GTX 1080 in there.
Edit: it's on sale on Newegg for $830 and has an i7 with a GTX 1060. That's a fucking steal.
Yes I got it on sale so its pretty nice :)
Yeah every black friday I could just upgrade the card. Still need an extra 8gb of ram too (16 is the max on this one)
Oxhorn My favourite one is the forth one since you have to find the keys and it also has a story with it
I love elianora's Marlbourough home.
I love how Oxhorn was like
"So let's pretend I was going through this dungeon--" *super mutant shoots Dogmeat* "Oh..."
*kills tf outta super mutant* "So, let's no longer pretend."
Super relatable when somebody shoots my doge 😂😂😂
Last time I was this early, Harambe was still alive
too soon
oh, just an ask - did you get your hands on Marlboroughs mansion by Elianora? it's a really cool little player home with gorgerous lightning! :D
Bruh I love this guy u r literally one of the best TH-camrs out there
Those multiple containers for organizing your stuff seem like a good idea until you have to work your way through them all trying to find stuff.
whenever you don't know whether you are looking North or not, just check the compass at the bottom of the screen. It will tell you without a doubt.
shezries loft is amazing thx oxhorn
Skeleton: Why did I get up here? Why did I have to be up here when the bomb fell?
*The skeleton stops and looks at Oxhorn*
Skeleton: What do you want?
Very nice mods. Thank you Oxhorn.
The top floor is on the Xbox one now 😀
Only one thing bad about it.. I saw Preston Garvey. ...Well at least it's not raining. :-)
OMG Professor Tyrell haha such a good Blade Runner reference
Why do I feel like I'm watching a real estate home sales pitch when I watch this video?
It made me want to try all of it except Shezrie's Loft...
There's like a little roof patio accessed from the attic at Shezrie's loft.
Man, Oxhorn would make a killer estate agent
I enjoy these videos, do you ever plan on doing Raider mods?
On the second one they obviously took some inspiration from the cabin house with the structure and all
