    Para sa akin lang po... Kasama dun sa power to weight ratio yung gulong na niliitan nla pra bumaba ang weight. Overall upgrade sa 450 nk is meron syang tcs, slipperclutch pa. Increase engine pa, with lcd.. More on features po ang worth of upgrade..kung susumahin mo lahat ng upgrade features ng 450nk sa 400nk dn kumpara mo sa price interval nila i think worth it naman po hindi sya "sayang"..kaya po d masyadong malayu ang agwat ng price ng dalawa dahil dun lang nila binase ang price ng 450nk sa mga added upgrade features.. For my own perspective.. Ty

    “Engine borrowed technology from KTM”??? Better research first bago magsalita Sir. If you don’t have an idea about the design of the 450Nk/Sr engine, then better not include it in your review.

    • @ManCannotRide
      @ManCannotRide  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      KTM and CFMoto have been sharing tech and know-how since they became allies in the production of motorcycles. This is not uncommon strategy between manufacturers, not just the two aforementioned. This business strategy is also beneficial for the buyers. We get more options and a diverse range of tech and features. I am not literally saying that CFMoto took some of the blueprints of KTM and then made their engines, that is absurd, even for the dumbfounded skeptics. CFMoto and KTM are sharing knowledge and resources and of course materials and processes.
      I did my research Mister User. I know how to do one. Do you?

      450NK/SR engine is 100% CF Moto design. Not borrowed from "KTM technology". You said in your review that the design was borrowed from "KTM Technology", that is why I told you to research first. With some bikes like the NK 800 and MT 800, KTM was part of their engines but with the 450NK you are wrong saying that it was borrowed from "KTM Technology". With your reply, so you mean, you know better than the designer himself? We have been discussing this engine with CF Moto since they released these units here in PH. Maybe your research was only through the net. Yes I know how to make engines. I've been making race engines for cars and motorcycles. And next time you do your review in the shop, better ask permission first so you can have access of the bikes and make a full review.

      Thanks for your inputs. I was able to confirm the ktm-cfmoto collab on the 450 engine with a friend from overseas who happens to have insider info from KTM and that info I got from that person was a year ago. When I saw the release of the 450NK I remembered having that info from that person way way back so I had that light bulb moment of "oh okay, that was KTM's idea". The 450 engine concept, as my insider person said, was being developed by KTM for an "upgrade" for the RC platform but they did not go through with it. Since KTM has the collab thing going on with CFMoto, it was sort of a business move to have CFMoto launch a new bike with the 450 concept. And yes, CFMoto designed the engine but the knowledge and the know-how, process and tech, was in a way inspired by their collab with KTM. The word "borrowed" might have been my bad because I was trying to find a simple word that will fit the "clout" of social media. Sorry. But I do understand what is happening in the "business" of everything. I am an Economics major in UP Diliman and I have worked with the "corporate" world for 20 years so I know these "business" moves. And yeah, I also know engines because I built my own racecar, by myself, and I race my DIY racecar until 2019. I came from the car world/car scene so I know my way around the "stuff" with engines and what-not. Regarding the shop/store approval for the review, well yeah I can do that but I decided not to because I want my reviews to be raw and insightful. Every bike review is different from every other else so...
      Well I guess I will just yield to you as the better man, I guess, in this comment-lacing back-and-forth. But I stand by my review. Maybe CFMoto can let me ride the bike and then maybe I will add more depth into my review. But yeah, anyway, you do you, I do me. To his each own. It's just a matter of understanding that we live as a diverse species and we can never really truly agree on anything, at all.

      @@ManCannotRideThank you. I just commented on your info about the engine because it sounded misleading, yes they have been partners in the business, but you have to consider that the 270 degree crank parallel twin was first made popular by Yamaha in 1995. And very soon, will be an official partner also of CF Moto this coming November. As I said, I only commented on the engine part because it was really not inspired from KTM Technology. I am also aware of the RC platform that KTM wanted to develop, KTM already used a 285 degree crank for their LC8c engines, this isn't quite 270 degrees, but it's conceptually similar. Again, if we are to think where it was "inspired", I guess it would be from their upcoming partner. Whoever the person shared you that information might be in the side of KTM, I can't blame you for that. I am not biased, but I share this here in your comment section so people can decide freely with the right information.
      Yes Motostrada welcomes people who want to make review of the bikes, just approach any of our staff and we will gladly assist you or whoever wants to make a video review so it can be more insightful.
      To end this, anyone is entitled to their own opinion, if you noticed I did not say anything about your other comments may it be good or bad, I just commented on the engine part you mentioned. I did not mean to offend you, as you said to each his own.

    You have a point, naiitindihan ko din na iba ang opinion mo about nk450. however the power and weight difference kasi ng 400 and 450 are super super magkalayo. 8 hp - 4 nm on the same rpm in a small bike is a big difference. Power alone is a big upgrade, but with the fork and suspension? For me siguro upgrade parin siya, yes it is 38mm but nk450 is lighter by 40kg. with the tires naman... Hmmm I don't really have a great opinion about it kasi most bikes in this category uses the same nk400 tire size, siguro they made it that small to create a WOW factor once they advertise the WEIGHT of the upcoming 450? hmm business moves hahaha. Me personally I'd love to see the nk400 engine on the same chasis of the nk450, a lower power engine on a lighter chasis will be the best bike for beginners sa higher displacement. CFmoto adevertisment strategy was and will be the main factor on how they got a better reputation for most of the chinese manufacturers. I've heard many complaints about the swingarm of the 450 series sa US and yes it's a major downgrade, 'cos that may cost you some limbs or life. It's one of the major factor why adobomoto sold his 450sr becauss of the bad swing arm. But overall 450 series is a great bike for its price, a little modifications would do enough like slip on, shock, tank grips, and if you'd like you can change the tire size. I personally don't own 1 but I guess the stock mags can survize on a +1 size?

    Only TFT and the power to weight ratio are the notable upgrades? What about traction control and slipper clutch. I believe ur Nk400 doesnt have those.
    For someone who hasn’t fully experienced the bike…i think ur review sounds very negative 😅…”i would say yes, pro labag sa loob ko”.

      Salamat sa feedback sir. I am not a fan of traction control and slipper clutch sa bikes with less than 70HP. I would love to have TC and slipper clutch with clutch assist sa mga bikes with over 100HP. Kaya hindi ko masyado pinansin na yun sa 450NK. I was doing the review as my own impressions based on my preferences.
      Pero tama ka, I have yet to experience the 450NK para magawan ko ng follow-up review. Someone will lend me his 450NK for a test ride soon. Kaya siguro naging masyadong negative ang review ko kasi I was expecting a lot from the bike.

      Oh the 450NK for what it is, is a good bike. I can recommend it because of its power to weight ratio. I am just doing the review based on my preferences if I will be the one to buy it in case it fits my needs. Yeah, it is a good bike and the price is reasonable. A new rider will not be intimidated by it and even veteran riders will appreciate its features.
      But to consider that it is an "upgrade" of the 400NK is a bit of a stretch for me just because I am a bit "specific" with suspension and performance aspects.
      I said in the video that since I have the 400NK, I really don't think I should buy the 450NK. I would rather step-up and buy maybe the 700CLX or the 800NK, which technically are the 690DUKE and the 790DUKE from KTM, respectively.
      But if I don't have the 400NK and then I need to choose between the 400NK and the 450NK, maybe I will consider the 450NK because it has more power and lighter. I will just upgrade the suspension separately.

      @@ManCannotRide ah i see. so it's better but not enough to switch from 400NK. thanks for replying. yeah the 800NK looks great. i'd love to get it too but it's a little too powerful for me as a beginner. i'm also surprised that it doesn't have traction control.
      i'm choosing between the 450NK and duke 390. the 450NK has more HP and twin engine compared to the duke's single cylinder, better sounding exhaust, and a 270 degree crankshaft. but the duke has a quick shifter and auto blipper. if the dealer can put a quickshifter and blipper on the 450NK, then the 450NK looks like the better choice. somehow it's also much lower in price than the duke.
      i'm only a little worried about spare parts for the 450NK. don't want to wait weeks for parts to arrive if something breaks down. my country is really far from China so shipping would take long.

      If you will choose between the 450NK and the 2023 Duke 390 then I will recommend the 450NK. The parts might take long for shipping but as long as your dealer is very helpful, you don't need to worry.
      But if you can wait for the 2024 Duke 390, then I will recommend that because it's a really great upgrade from the old 390 and it will be so much better than the 450NK.

Kung merong magbibigay sa akin ng Z400, I will immediately convert it to a Ninja 400 or a cafe racer custom bike. And to be honest some more, I don't like the Z series of Kawasaki. I prefer the ZX series, the 636 and the 10R.
      For impressions, the Z400 is a comfortable version of the Ninja400. It has a more relaxed riding position. That's it. The Z400 is a good bike but personally I am not really interested in it in it's factory stock trim.

    Medyo nagugustuhan ko na tong channel mo dahil technical ka. Sa wheels medyo disagree lang ako dahil narrower wheels equate to better handling. Nasanay ka lang siguro sa wider tires dahil sa mga middleweights mo at malalapad talaga pero for me na nakagamit din ng liter bike and current bike ko na ninja 400, mas gusto ko ang narrow tires like 140-150. Makes the bike nimble. Chaka less cost un. The rest agree ako sa pov mo. Yung swing arm lalo na. Napoint out din ni adobomoto un. Ang sagwa kadire. Parang ginawa sa junk shop. Talagang nagfocus lang sila sa engine for the upgrade TFT and tech package para macontrol ang cost.

    • @ManCannotRide
      @ManCannotRide  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks brother. Meron na ako nagawa na video dati pa saying na narrower tires are really better for agility and handling compared to wider tires. Maganda yung point mo na yun. Sa corner entry, mas flickable ang narrower tires at mas responsive to inputs kapag aayusin mo yung mid-corner lines mo. Sa corner exit naman doon mas lamang ang wider tires kasi they can handle more aggressive power when you open the throttle too quickly. Yeah, Adobomoto reviewed the 450SS which is the 450SR naman sa Pinas and they have the same swing arm as the 450NK. Nakakadismaya tol. To the point na nakakahiya yung build quality ng swing arm. Sayang. It's a deal-breaker for me. Parang bigla na lang kakalas yung welds kapag medyo napabiglang bagsak yung rear end. Thanks again bro. Ride safely.

      @@ManCannotRide yeah pansin ko din yan sa exit sa corners mas stable ang zx10r na nagamit ko. Di lang ako sanay sa malalaki dahil parang i have to man handle the bike to turn sobrang active counter steering to compensate. Going back, nice points on the intricate details that you pointed out kasama yung shocks. Kelangan irepack un ng ibang fork oil weight depende sa preference mo and yung amount na nilalagay for the fork travel. I saw your cable ties sa forks so good job. Yan ang tamang pag sukat ng play talaga.

      @@netxzero3993 Hindi din user friendly yung access sa pag adjust ng preload. Dukutan kung dukutan. Watch my 800NK video mas malala ang shock ng 800NK. Nakatago na parang diwata sa bundok. Mukhang mababaklas mo kalahati ng motor para lang iadjust ang preload ng shock. Abd yes talagang goodluck na lang sa pagservice ng shock oil kasi sobrang matrabaho magbaklas ng shocks ng 450NK at 800NK. I have not tried riding the 450NK so hindi ko pa din malalaman kung okay ba yung factory setup ng kanyang suspension. I believe they set it up for 2-up riding.

      Kung 400nk na katawan tapos makina ng 450nk, mas lalakas ang power potential nung ganung bike since lamang sa displacement ang 450nk engine. Mas maganda pa ang tunog kasi 270 degrees crank.
