- Discover the STIHL guide bar production! In this video, Matthias Müller shares exciting insights into the development of new chainsaw guide bars at STIHL Germany. During the design phase, particular attention is paid to achieving the ideal balance between lightweight construction and durability, as well as rigidity. The resulting prototypes then have to undergo a series of tests until they can be field-tested by our customers worldwide. The goal is always to achieve the maximum safety and satisfaction of our customers.

None of our customers like the 50 gauge. 325 btw...63 is still the favorite...

When I tried to call your technical department in Melbourne Australia to discuss the lack of adhesion of the white surface coating I could only leave a message.
The technical manager then called my phone twice, both times when I was on a business call.
Trouble is his number was not supplied on the call and I had no means to call him back.
After the two calls he never tried again.
I'm not at all impressed with his attitude, nor am I impressed that the coating which appears to be powder coat is flaking off the bar of my new 500i.
Pity your technical department is not up to the standard of my selling Stihl dealer.
I love the many Stihl products that I have, the dealer knows me by name, your technical manager needs to be moved on.
