Hi, new install on pantry door. One of the three hinges makes a horrible noise upon open swinging. Appears to be bottom hinge. Suggestions or ways to lubricator it
Hi. Could I use double hinges on a master bathroom double door? Each door is about 17 3/4" wide and 1 3/8" thick, lightweight hollow core type. They currently open one way, with 3 single hinges, and use these awful "ball latches" at top of each door. Very loud, clunky, and so the doors are usually just left partially open... never closed. Would love a double hinge action, so the doors could just swing shut. Hopefully this could work quieter and more conveniently than the ball latch. Thanks in advance for any comments.
Tyber my experience of these in an office (not necessarily this brand, but this style of hinge) is that they are not quiet. They tend to click as the door flip flops back and forth on the sprung hinges as it finds its resting position.
Hey Richard, I am building a modular House, I need a Double action string hinge for a movable wall system. I have a 8'x8' wall that weights about 400 pounds. What sort of heavy duty hinges do I need to be able to safely attach to an existing stud wall?
hi i have a kitchen door hinged like this. However after a few months of daily use the door is now banging onto the door frame with a loud noise. This may even break the glass inset panel in the door let alone it not being a free swing now. How do i fix this please?
