Not going to lie, I like shotguns and one of my favourites for just fun is Sweet Dreams, particularly during events, along with Claws Out Holster. It may not be the most efficient but it is fun.
Yup, 870 Pummel Fury Headhunter, Versatile is my favorite build atm. One tap everything? Yes, Please. I tend to not have any problems. With versatile I can always one shot. For my range I use a goodole Classic m1a. I like busy bee to make quick work of dogs and robotanks. It seems obvious to me that the best BP talent with fury specifically. I can basically maintain 100% uptime on versatile. The only content I don’t use it for is legendary. Since it’s always a Matchmade hard carry. GGs great info.
I know this vid is quite old now but I tried the negotiators shotgun build and it seems that enemies killed by the crit transfer mechanic don’t proc pummel? This was a bit of a dealbreaker as it meant far too many reloads. Is it supposed to work like that? Does it work the same way with bloodsucker?
Hi, Is the Super 90 Marine just for example or can we take another of its variants like the Super 90 SBS Tactical? I ask because I see some builds with the Super 90 Marine so I wonder if it has a particularity that I haven't seen compared to its other variants...🤔
ACS-12 / Rock n' Roll is a good one too, being one of the highest sustain damage, beating Bulletking (not counting the shotgun talent). Besides working well with Flatline and Technician Laser Pointer, they are very good to easily stack Striker / Heartbreaker buffs - on DZ I have made some tryhard rogues running and dying by using non-optimized ACS Flatline + HB, although this build would not work against that 5% pool of smarter players that run pulse RES builds like Yaahl / SC.
Loving the new series. If I could make a suggestion for an improvement, can you choose where the adverts come, it’s really annoying getting them halfway through a sentence.
Personally for me, not worth it. The missing attribute is a huge drop. I do know somepeople who swear by it. Considering the damage you get from shotguns, should still work fine.
@@DodRegnbue thanks, been testing it, really seems to depend on content. Perfect pummel helps to avoid reloading like the plague but the dtooc missing really hurts from dps
Probably, yeah. It'd most likely hit harder than your sniper rife tbh. I'm actually going to have to change all my sniper builds to have one now. Can't believe I never thought of that myself.
@@DodRegnbue I like to sit on top of The Shop and pick off patrols but every now and then somebody gets up the ladder. An AR with my close quarters skill is not adequate. A shitty should improve that.
Shotguns piss me off. So many people run shotguns. To me it seems like their TTK is ridiculously slow but it's probably their builds tbh Gimme an m870 or get outta here.
Yeah, many shotguns have a hard day to fully deliver a headshot damage due accuracy, but I think that ROF rolls and Striker's ROF would help at least for the automatic ones like ACS-12.
I've tried them all, always go back to my tactical super 90 sbs with flatline. Love it.

HHF gift with technician and 870/regulus is the jam for a challenge, while still having a functional build in every situation.
Hunter's fury with double barrel shotgun, and I don't use shield/medkit/ or reviver hive anymore.

Slight correction. Nothing major. Max expertise is actually 22 right now because of the new gear sets, exotics, etc. added with this season.

A Super 90 of some description would be best in slot, but you are free to use what ever you wish.

dod, what do you think about "the enforcer" versus marine super 90. you lose the 3rd roll but you get perfect pummel?

So I’d get good damage if I use an M870 as back up on my high end sniper build?
