@@INFAMAS i owned a 2021 mt09 and i clutch up on lif 1 and i think it doesn't work because I can pretty much hit balance point and rear brakes is a must. And my friend looped his, and he is also clutching up at lif 1
Same here as a 2021 owner. If you go full throttle when clutching up the traction control kicks in and either brings it down or sits about midway to balance point. If you let off a little so the traction control doesn’t interfere you can bring it to balance point. I think they cleaned up how it cuts in for 2024 models. I heard it doesn’t interfere as much when clutching up making it easier to learn. My guess is they made it closer to how it works on the R1
I had 2022 model and I did only power wheelies on level 1. Almost balance point with quickly twist to almost full throttle and it will sit there until run out of revs or being quickshifted to 2 & 3 gear ( little bit over 100mph tested by me ) You need to apply full throlle and hold it so it will lift higher after a few secs. Try it. ☆ Just don't do clutch up wheelie if you don't wanna loop it
i'm 18yo and i worked very hard to get a bike like this. I ordered it in its 35kw version on the 2nd of july but it'll be deliver in the first half of november (i'm in rome btw).. i already got my exhaust and everything to remapp and unlawfully get it over full power😗but i'm courious on how to open the tank and the saddle on this bike with that keyless thing, i couldn't find any information whatsoever. thank you and keep it up bro💪
I might make a video about this, seems to be a hot question. To open the take you just have to turn the bike off and have the key near by and it'll open. As for the rear seat, there is a key inside the key fob you can pull out to open it :)
Man!! I love the bar end mirrors you are running and was looking for an underslung option that won't hit the tank. Would you mind sharing? Also loved the video very good info!!
Great vid dude, better than the 1st. When you have it in the higher lift control, ie 2/3, does it reduce the amount of throttle or just give you the same all the time but stop the lift ? Cheers buddy
@@INFAMAS So the higher the lift control the more it effects the throttle. This will also effect the amount of drive then, say on a track day. Cheers mate.
are you gonna do a how-to-wheelie video? I want to learn and try it out but too afraid/scared that I might mess it up by tipping over or crash my precious mt09. just need to try get rid of that fine line of fear when the tyre lifts up and be comfortable with it if you get what I mean.
Scared 😂 Bro I said I was giving it the same amount of throttle each time. If I wanted it to come up I would just give it more, but then it would be an inconsistent test. The first test was the control, and you see how the bike reacts from there.
@@INFAMAS you are supposedly showing us how the lif control works and that clearly is not how it works. That’s how you want it to work. Next time give it full throttle and show the people how it actually works and how much it will go up on each control because that’s how it’s made to be. If I’m scared of wheelies I’ll put it on 3 knowing I can accidentally give it full throttle and it won’t make me flip
People have crashed these bikes because they have LIF control on and think they can full throttle it... So no, I won't be full throttling it with LIF control on, at least not on 1. It's not a magic "anyone can balance point" feature, it's a "keep the wheel on the ground so you can accelerate harder" feature.
If you go full throttle from a speed above 50 km/h 1sr gear, you can wheelie even more. With lift control on, you won’t flip, but still, be careful-you'll need more distance for this. I’m riding a 3-Gen MT-09 SP.
@@raffaelloariu324 I feel that it's impossible to flip over without using the clutch. I've done power wheelies so many times, and I've never experienced any instability.

It's worth it. In a couple years when you start thinking about upgrading parts of the bike, you'll wish you had bought the Brembos and Ohlins at the start. Also it looks better.
Thanks for the video. One question. With the anti-wheelie control set to 1, is it possible to overturn by giving a big acceleration or using the clutch? Thanks if you answer me or to whoever can answer me. Greetings from Italy
@INFAMAS thanks for the answer. the question is different though. I was wondering if for someone who doesn't know how to wheelie using the rear brake, if in mode 1 there was a risk of tipping over or if the bike cuts power before this moment. Thanks
I could get mine up in 5th no problems no clutch. If you got sk8lls. Tuned bike tho. 09 is a beast and fun bike but earlier models had crap suspension.
which mode are you riding in? custom? street? or sport ? I need to get start learn how to wheelie. but it looks very easy I must admit. have an mt09 2024 myself non SP
So i just bought the same bike. Ive been trying to get the wheel off the ground with a power wheelie. I had all electronics off and power mode at one and when i blip the throttle nothing happens
@@INFAMAS gotcha ty. Yeah if you ever miss the weights you can grab an adapter piece off RhinoMoto, I’m using some Motogadget mirrors but those you have look clean 👍🏼
You should have add way more throttle! Quickly full throttle and wheel will come up waay higher! I know as I had this bike. Trust me. No clutch up just power wheelies 😎👍🏻
Why is the 2021 (3gen) model 4kg lighter than the 2024? Is the chassis still as fragile as in 2021? Aesthetically it doesn't seem changed.. Apart from the split saddle, it has not undergone any particular changes.. there are no more superstructures.. the 4kg cannot be explained..
You're right, the 4kg can't be explained. It's a conspiracy between the Lizard People, the Democrats, and the New England Patriots. Or maybe you don't know what the hell you're talking about. They changed the geometry, the suspension, the electronics...

Much better than your other video. Nice work. This bike is on my short list now. A bit hard to come by in Georgia at the moment. Maybe next season.
Need to see what lif does to clutch ups, please.

The 2nd video is much better. Thanks, man! But in the previous one, in modes 2 and 3, the front wheel lifted higher. Did you use full throttle? ❤
I used extra throttle each time to get the wheel to lift, this time I used the same amount each time :)
It was about half to 2/3 throttle this time.

Currently in the break in period on my 2024 09 (non sp). Absolutely loving it. How many miles/kilometers do you have on yours?
700km on mine
Your break in period should be a weekend. Go hit every twisty road you can get to in 8 hours, then go back.
Now do a standing start, like in a drag race to see how it acts.
Most throttle possible.
Please
Curious to get your thoughts on the adjustable ohlins preload on the back for taking passengers. I haven't seen anyone talk about that yet...
Can you please tell me where you got the mirrors? I ordered my 09 SP about a month ago and i can’t wait☺️

Yep, but it'll just slam the wheel down randomly, it won't slowly reduce the throttle like LIF control does
