For greasy plastic containers......wash in hot water with any bar soap( I use Ivory) and then rinse in COLD water! The cold warer solidifies the grease and it rinses right off and is squeaky clean! ( rinsing in hot water melts the grease and it goes right back onto the plastic)!😊❤
@1:45 They show the wrong “mesh”. Use the plastic mesh for scrubbing teflon or non stick and greasy, messy food off plates and pans. I cannot live without mine! The kind that you get with some fruits and vegetables.
Please, when it comes to squash, CUT IT FIRST before peeling. Peeled squash (especially butternut) is deceptively slippery as it doesn't 'shine'. Not only do you risk slicing _your_ skin, but maybe even an entire fingertip.🩸🔪
DON’T throw flour on a fire. Flour dust in the air is flammable. Keep a large box of baking soda handy if you want something to extinguish fire.
Grandma did not use paper towels. There were no paper towels in her house. She used rags. Old pyjamas cut up into pieces.
Paper towels, didn't come out, until late 60s

My grandmother didn't use paper towels much. For her Tupperware, she would use a dishrag. But the shaking trick works very well.
