Loved this vlog (love all of them). You are amazing at what you do
I work in Maternity too, but i work in bereavement with SB, NND etc.... it is so sad 😢.
Showing what you do like this is amazing, it shows what we all go through, long days!!!
I loved the part about eating 😂😂😂 , its soooooo true, you literally grab a chocolate bar / biscuit when you can. And 10/10 for the stairs, im a lift girl 😅😅.
Your hospital looks so more modern then ours, we need a toral revamp.
You swore (only joking its what we say) 😂😂😂😂😂 the Q word is 100% a ban in our place, always goes crazy when someone says it
    Hope all is well 💖

Loved this video! I feel similar, I worked so hard for my nursing pin but at the same time I'd like to do something different. People don't understand how stressful it is, it's a huge responsibility. I used to do 3 long days a week 0700-2030, but left as it was physically too much. Now, I'm lucky enough to work 0730-1730 shifts, so I actually get home for dinner with my family which means the world. Great video! Xx

It's so good to hear other people feel the same! Its true unless you're in it you don't fully get the pressure of the job. I'm so happy for you that you've managed to find a way to keep working as a nurse and have a better life balance 🥰 your family must be happy too 😃

hey im studying to be a midwife. I'm 32 - spent the last decade in private beauty and aesthetics and wanted to change the elements of my career- I agree with ur outlook on birth being magical and that is what is driving me to graduate and succeed- when u mentioned u fancy doing something else, what would u do?? and how does that work regarding keeping ur nurse registration - can I ask how NHS treated u and what was you average salary? who sets up your rota and timetable duties? who allocates if you are in community or a ward department?>

The driving at the start was merging in turn, not pushing in ❤

It depends what level you are, where you work in the uk (London pays more for example) and if you specialise in anything. Don't be scared there are many ways to top up your earning too like working bank or agency shifts, teaching private antenatal courses, running hypnobirthing courses or private postnatal visits etc. Hope this helps x
