Another 50km, another medal 😃🥳✨ Kent Downs ultra challenge
Welcome back guys 😆🥰❤️
I can't believe it's been so long since I uploaded a video! Welcome back everyone, thanks for sticking around and to all of you who are new thank you so much for joining! How are we all?? 💕
One of the mad crazy things I love doing is ultra challenges/marathons, which if you've been following me for a while now you would have seen I have done before. This was the Kent 50km and wow it was not my favourite.
Aside from the lack of scenic views (mainly in the first half of the walk) I was in soo much pain. I really need to get this knee sorted! Any tips or help would be very appreciated. The Hokas did wonders for my feet though, would highly recommend!
Which ultra do you think I should do next? Even though I said never again 😂😅 I'd love to do the Lake District 😍❤️
Hit the like button if you enjoyed this video and subscribe for more. My next upload will be my New York vlog ahhhh 😆🤩❤️
See you in the next one!
Lots of love,

Working on a private maternity ward in the UK!

Come and join me on 2 shifts on a private maternity ward 🥰 I obviously can't film any direct patient care so it was kind of harder to film a work vlog than I thought but hopefully you get an idea of what it is like anyway 😅 the first day was super quiet so not much to show and then the second day was sooo busy I didn't manage to film much so... Bit of a disaster but oh well 😂 Maybe I should do ...

Come along with me on this very cute, very chilled hen do for my friend Izzy. We did candle painting, yoga, had a picnic on the beach and so many cute activities. Bonus points if you can guess the song that Molly and me were singing in the car on the way home. Here's a clue, it's from my favourite movie... 😜🥰💕 I hope you're all doing well. Lots of love, J x

A VERY ENGLISH DAY OUT | Afternoon Tea at the Four Seasons Hotel | Was it worth it?…
I'm so grateful you decided to make this video. This is the info I had been searching for. Big hugs and thanks so much for making me feel like I'm not alone and can get through this. I'm booked for Colposcopy on 9th of January. I had a ultrasound and a 6mm polyp was found. So getting biopsies and waiting for results. I swear the waiting and unknown and the over thinking "what iff ?" Is debilitating. But now I feel brave. I can get through. Thank you. Xx
Enjoyed watching what you got for Christmas would love to see what you got this year too .x
I have to go get my colposcopy soon. I had one 24 years ago with a biopsy and cryo freezing of the abnormal cells. I had 4 student Dr's and two nurses plus the Dr. It was not fun and the Dr rested his arm on my naked knee like he was so relaxed. I was not. Thank you for sharing your story. It's so important. I'm trying to get my 22 year old daughter in law to get her pap but she is nervous and doesn't have insurance. But again, thank you!
I had my LLETZ two weeks ago and the bleeding is so annoying and I can't believe I have 2 more weeks or so of these. The general anesthesia was okay for me, it was the first time and it was just like I had taken a deep nap. My experience was good, the only challenge was that they found me with low iron levels and needed an iron fusion. I did it and waiting for the effect to kick in as I feel tired easily. Thank you for this video, it is helpful knowing my experience is common
I might need to get LLETZ next week. Does this affect fertility? Or my sex experience?
hey im studying to be a midwife. I'm 32 - spent the last decade in private beauty and aesthetics and wanted to change the elements of my career- I agree with ur outlook on birth being magical and that is what is driving me to graduate and succeed- when u mentioned u fancy doing something else, what would u do?? and how does that work regarding keeping ur nurse registration - can I ask how NHS treated u and what was you average salary? who sets up your rota and timetable duties? who allocates if you are in community or a ward department?>
Asking for any advice and guidance. My colposcopy results came back last week CIN3 and recommendation is for Cone (cold knife) procedure to remove a decent portion of my cervix. Once it’s sent to pathology they are hoping all the abnormal cells are in the middle of what was removed and nothing on the edges to indicate it’s spreading. Would go back in 6 months for a re-check. Right now, I’m scheduled for early January 2025 for the cone. I’m rethinking this and should I just get a hysterectomy? I’m 46, no more kids. Am going to talk with Dr further but was hoping for some advice on this post if possible. I’m anxious enough about the cone and feel what if they don’t get it all? Just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat. I’m in the US. Thank you 🙏 for reading this 💕 and taking any time to reply back.
Thanks for sharing the story of your journey. It is so encouraging to hear from people who are walking through similar situations. I believe we are meant to be open with each other so we can learn from each other. Thank you!!!
Loved this! Your strength and perseverance are an inspiration to say the least! Pushing through the pain and obstacles to achieve such a wonderful goal is something we all can take inspiration from. Bravo, friend!
Thank you so much 🥹❤️ I hope to inspire people for good reasons 🥲

Hi good night thank you for sharing
Yes! Please do a Q and A about midwifery!! I'm currently in my second year of college and have applied for midwifery (I've already received some interviews offers) and love watching these videos :)
thank you for this vlog, i love having a glimpse into what it's actually like being a midwife. i'm 20 and have just finished doing a law course at college. i have always really wanted to do midwifery but didn't think i'd be able to handle it, after being at my mum's traumatic birth at the start of the year it's given me the push to finally pursue my dream of being a midwife. this week i've been applying to access courses but i'm so nervous that i won't be accepted 🥹
I purchased HPV herbal medicine from DR ALAHO OLU on TH-cam Channel and received it within 4 days and i used it as prescribed, I tested negative after 3 weeks of usage.
I have two babies born in August. I prefer August to September because then you have to wait a whole extra year for them to start school 😂 I have 2 in August, 1 in November, 1 in Feb, 1 in June and 1 in July. I'd love to be a midwife x
Living life with a deadly virus HPV 🦠 was not the end of life for me, all thanks to DR ALAHO OLU on TH-cam Channel. He cured me.
🩷
My daughter was born in Aug & is the youngest/smallest so she always gets thrown up in the air as a flyer in cheerleading 😅
Im an ER nurse in the US and we would panic about the full moon as well 😂😂 And we also dont say Quiet 😅
@@CoolKidsSJJE this is so funny 😆 I’m glad it’s not just us in the UK 😂❤️
I hope things have improved since this video ❤
That spa 😍
Loved it all but the Dominoes, you must have better pizza there 😅
@@CoolKidsSJJE no it’s very bad 😅😂 not like Italian or in America
💚
I also had a LLETZ done 5 years ago. I had 2 follow up smears done once a year after I had the procedure done and I’m clear now so I have returned back to 5 years on my smear tests.

I’m in year 11, and my dream job is midwifery! I’m going to college in September 2025 and doing health and social care… thank you for giving me and idea of how my days will be 🤍🤍
Hey! Best of luck (I do T-Level Health at college and am in my second year) - our courses are slighty similar i think! I also want to be a midwife when I'm older :) fingers crossed we can both get there xx
i’m 16, and in college, doing health and social care to hopefully be a midwife someday. i love watching these to give me an idea of what my life could be like. thank you.
Hiii, im going to college next year and doing health and social care, do you have any advice or can you tell me what’s it’s like because in nervous 😭🤍
@@ameliiagracee hey! Don’t be nervous, it’s a wonderful job. Maybe I should do a Q&A video? Would that be helpful?
@@jessfidler2356 Hey Jess, that’s amazing to hear :) I think I will do a Q&A video with more information so if you have any questions let me know and I’ll try my best to answer them. Good luck with your studying!
@@jayellen omg yess that would be so helpful and would calm me down so much, thank you 🤍
Hi Jay Love the video. Been a midwife is hard work, and watching this i can't believe the struggles everyone has. Recently we had to divert as we literally had no beds in labour ward, ANC ward or any of the PN wards, so i am 100% with you when you talk about September 😂😂 its always the way. Hope you got your AL in for next year. Congratulations been part of the PDM team, the are amazing in what they do and achieve. Im an August baby, love it 😍 as never had to go to school on my birthday 😂 lol. Keep up the good work xx
@@tealbutterfly8516 hey! Thank you, amazing that you do the same work too. You know all about the struggles 😅😂 jealous of your August birthday! That must be lovely every year 💕
@@jayellen Yep August is a good month, as long as it's not too hot! Not a fan of the heat!!! 😂😂 yes, it is an amazing and rewarding job 💖. With yourself developing in the PDM team, I actually a few years back now moved to work in the bereavement team, it's very sad, but losing my daughter who was stillborn, I felt like I needed to give something back after the amazing care I received, it's one of the reasons I came into the job I do. What I found interesting when speaking to people, is everyone thinks the maternity unit is all about delivering a baby and sending mom and baby on there way, they are quite shocked when you tell them there is soooooo much more to it then that (as I'm sure you are aware). Keep up the amazing work you do, your a credit to the NHS. And the videos also, will help as I can see from some of the comments people understand the job and hopefully come into the profession xx
Hi Jay, thank you for sharing this vlog! Midwives like you are absolute heroes. I would love to ask a few questions: - What are the key differences in postnatal care for patients in the private ward vs NHS? Do you think it's worth the cost? - How does the overnight nursery service work? - What are some of the nice things that patients have done to show their appreciation for you? Thank you xxx
What an amazing job you do, you deserve a medal! X😊
Hi jay you do a brilliant job hi to Emma and Sarah and your mum see you on Saturday at palace if you are going.

love this vlog - am currently applying for midwifery and trying to research as much as possible to get an insight into a career and what it'd be like after university
I'm so happy to hear that! I hope you get onto the course and love it! If I can help with anything feel free to drop me a message or ask here :)
1/2 marathon🥳🥂 🎉 Well Done
It’s really scary bc even though the docs may tell us that you’re body will fight it off there’s always possibility for your body not to and that’s what I’m very concerned about
I was so lucky 😍 to get cured permanently from HIGH RISK HPV by DR ALAHO OLU on TH-cam Channel.
Thank you @jayellen for this video. Very helpful x
