Interesting, learning all the time. Some people do new home tours with a list of things they want to change which just seemed like a big expense when funds are already tight. I wish you happiness in your lovely new home
@@janejohnson7120 yes it is really a waste of money but the new homes here are sold off plan and very restrictive with modifications. In Australia you can make any changes you want for a price really but in the UK the planning approval process is different.

It’s really helped us consider what upgrades we should consider making to the house. However we’re still debating weather to go for the Avondale/bradgate house types because of the layout lol.
Sell your kitchen , when you replace with the navy cupboard , your can sell your cabinets on 2nd hand kitchen cabinets sites or eBay Make a profit , out of it
Do not get rid of the cooker it will ruin the look

Why didn’t you have your own house built to just how you wanted it rather than a new build you would have pleased you better.
They don't offer many choices
I love your new kitchen but did you not have the option to install your own kitchen from the developers?
No we didn't, if we did we would have obviously. Their options are very limited. Most developers here are like that.
