I really wish people understood the basics of this business model. The industry literally lives off 2% of their acts being super successful. Which means a 98% failure rate of connecting with the public. They have the artists agree to pay for everything, so they can drop them when they don't succeed and make them pay for all expenses when they're a success. The artists pay and the label makes the money. Yet, all it takes is 1 bad year for a label to disappear when their artists aren't successful. No artists making money and paying for things. It's always feast or famine because 2% is too small to be maintained.

HaHa.. Elvis and JFK are alive & well and living at Area 51 with the🛸Greys 😱😱
And there are Deep Underground Military Bunkers reserved for the Bilderbergs, Bonesmen, Rosicrucians, and Bohemian Grove members. Oh, and the FreeMasons and Knights Templar too.
And the UN has an invasion plan printed on the back of Kix cereal boxes, but ya gotta have your super-duper decoder ring to figure it out 😂😂
You conspiracy theorists believe absolutely anything 😂😂😂😂😂
That's right!!! U said it!!!! 😊
They had nothing on Prince. They had plenty on MJ. That's the difference.
So true....I sure miss you...rest in peace ❤
He was definitely a genius and had unlimited talent. He was right on point when he spoke.
Prince, tellin it like it is. RIP Purple One!!!!🌷🌷🔥🔥
We’ll never see another Prince again. Real is Rare. I’m super grateful to have lived in this transition era. We’ve seen & heard the best of both generations old & new, trash & truth, past & what will be “renewed”🫡💯
Prince n Jackson spoke out against the labels......the rest is history
"Tommy Mottolla is the devil."
-Michael Jackson
Literally every artist before the 90s spoke out about it.
@@williamhermann6635Yes. Look over there. Don't look at what I'm doing.
The history where they both made shitloads of money by working with the labels? Because...
@@brandonwenzel2844 until they spoke out against them and what they do
He was very intelligent and savvy... the truth speaks for itself. 20 years ago... and look at the sad situations going on. Thank God I don't and didn't want to go that route 🙏 🙌 to God be the glory forever and ever 🙏 AMEN ❤❤❤❤
Prince you are missed by so many people! You did speak the truth on many levels. I will see you soon brother in the new world. Then you will be playing your music again. ❤
If every artist listened to Prince they would get exactly what they deserved and lawyers & managers & CEOs would not be the ones getting paid.
Nobody called him crazy...he was well spoken. We knew his time was up after a few interviews and speeches 🕊 🙏🏼
Truth teller to the end.
Created causal relationship between Prince’s words and respect. xoxoxo ♥️
The man was a genius,a prodigy
Artists have been saying this since the 50s people acting like Prince was the first
@@johnmacdonald5483 Who?
@@Macbeth99Where do I start, Marvin Gaye,The Jackson 5, Mary Wells, Boston,John Fogerty,Johny Cash, all artist who were outspoken and critical. Most sued in many cases for predatory practices by labels. Most were decades before Prince. Prince was brilliant but not the first when it comes to recognizing the inequatity between artist and label .There are many more too.
@@johnmacdonald5483While this is true, who else dared to put things out WITHOUT the label & call 100-150k sales a victory? You have to have enough lifelong fans to sustain you in a fickle industry to do that. The difference between Prince & the folks you named was that he saw that eventually artists wouldn't need labels AT ALL. He warned Mariah Carey BY NAME that she was being cheated.
That explains Beyonce in a nutshell! She can't sing but is highly rewarded with an armful of Grammy's she is a commodity not a talent
TRUTH EXPOSED!!!!! THANK YOU PRINCE 💜 🤴🏽
They killed him because of it.😢
Prince is lookin gorgeous as he did 40 yrs ago. He's wearing it well.
He was not afraid of telling the truth. God Bless
just like the millions of other artist who say and have said the exact same thing
Ain't nobody called Prince crazy 😂😂😂 EVER!!!!
A LOT of people began to take him less seriously when his beef with Warner kicked in........ "Slave", the name change, the symbol etc.
Until then he was a mega-star and his albums were dominant; but not everyone understood what was going on and began to receive him and his music differently and just saw him as pretentious.
He never lost his integrity; but it's a sin that such a special talent was left to spend such a spell in the relative wilderness.
wow. So well spoken. a fan. rip old bean.
We need this man back so bad, him, pac, Michael Jackson, everybody that was woke!
But you know they died for a reason, because they still alive
@@patiencehoughton1915 But how do you know that? I really hope thats true tho.
I am such a huge fan of this man's intellect. 🕯
Prince called it and most of us knew this even back then❤❤rip you still belong in the world - HE will always be missed
TRUTH 🎉🎉🎉 Rest in Power! Arise with the Ancestors 🎉🎉🎉 Your music and your genius will reign forever!!! Forever PRINCE🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤

The Greatest To Ever Do It! Rest In Power Messenger!!!
Loved and felt Prince was ahead of his time. Pretty damn smart. Loved his music.
All praises due to Prince. The last KING of ROCK &ROLL😢❤🎉
Prince cared about the craftsmanship, skill and talent. The music industry cares about figures, they are not the same.
Facts
Uh ya it's called the real world
Prince was fluent in every instrument.
And thats the reason we got the type of music and musicians of today.
Yeah it’s a business. These guys sign bad deals to get that quick money and once they make it and realize the actual deal they made they get upset. At this point we’ve seen Artist do it without but everybody too greedy to wait
Well, I mean the man was a genius ❤
TOUCHE he was ahead of his time.
Miss you Prince.
Such a beautiful spiritual soul..RIP
