After watching Choopers the whole month since a guy want to sell me a homemade and lightweight hardtail I have to say this is the one that stands out of all the choppers on TH-cam! - this is an amazing piece of art and it is on top of this "modernly practical" and as well as a soft-tail, wow! This is clearly my Dream bike! 😍🤩
I love what you have done here in such detail. And your train of thought was spot on for the reliability. But this also has been an easier way to hunt down parts not just for the build but the long hall , too.
How did that springer work out with the off set of the front wheel I want to run a springer on my 07 fat boy I have a custom set of mags that I absolutely will not give up The shop that does my work Claims that I won't be able to run the same wheel I have already
Hi Darwin, This is from Christopher - "The wheel is a narrow glide wheel from DNA (who manufactures the springer) so the width fits properly in between the spring without clearance issues. I had to lathe my own spacer to correctly sit the wheel in the middle of the springer, which I think he meant by “offset”. So essentially to fit his mags in the springer, he would have to insure the width of his rim will clear inside the width of the springer then make spacers if it does fit. " Hope this helps. Cheers.
My dude, that is fucking incredible....i love that you used a twin cam....what t.c. is it?....88, 95, 96, 103, 110, 117?....love to know details...im gonna subscribe and check out your channel brother....awesome job...o, and i love the pipes too. ..samson is bad ass. You dont have any detailed videos of tthe build..what t.c. is it man?
Fat boy is just a softtail model? So once you chop it, it’s not a fat boy, just a softtail? Is there anything fanboy left, or something specific to fat boy that keeps its namesake?
@@feellnfroggynothing left on this bike that makes it a fat boy. You’re totally right, it’s just a softail now. The front end and cast wheel it originally had would make it a fat boy but because that’s all gone, it’s no longer a fat boy
Great job, and Larry must be smiling to see how much impact he had with people. Good luck

Chris appreciates the feedback. Thank you.
This is so cool I love your work brother Indiana larry soul in Diablo now.🔥
Love from Pakistan ❤️🇵🇰
Beautiful transformation! Full respect to people riding hard tails with older engines but I like comfort and reliability.
Kick a** man! Where did you get those panhead rocker boxes from?
This is dope
Thank you, it is. Chris did phenom job on this build
Awesome looking bike but id cut them pipes into some hell bents or something. Just my personal preference i guess.
I would love more information about how the rear fender was mounted
It was mounted on the swing arm with custom mounting tabs on both the upper and lower cross members of the swing arm
Hey Chris I need some work done on my bike can you help me out with it ?

Beautiful. Why didn’t you just start with a softtail standard or custom?
Not sure but probably cause he already had a Fat Bob on hand.
Bought a fat boy and from just doing a handlebar swap and an exhaust, it turned into this full out build lol

Ricky Bobby said that's Spanish for some kind of fighting rooster.
Where could I find a tank like this? Looking for something similar for my softail
Chris talks about the tank in the video.
Paughco makes them
Hello. Very cool bike !👍 Please tell me the size of your Burly narrow ape bar ? Or catalog reference please ?
Many thanks.
Pierre from Corsica.
They are 12” narrow apes, part number B28-349
Great work !! What year Fatboy model did you rebuild Softail Chopper - Indian Larry Style ?
It’s a 2007
And how much is a bike like this cost ?
Too much money lol
DNA ??
Springer and wheels are DNA Specialties
I just finished a fatboy into a bobber
Thats awesome! It must be a great feeling and I bet it looks DOPE!

You're absolutely right. My title should have said Was and not Is. Glad you enjoyed the video though.
@@TheMotoFotoYT wasnt questioning your title. Just curious what sets fatboy apart from other bikes that it might be recognized in it's current state?

Engine needs adjustment, Harley's don't sound like that.
